    My beautiful boy.

What caring, compassionate people this group has. We had been struggling for a few months with making this decision. Vinny would do well for awhile then crash. It was obvious he was done fighting. Filling everthing out on line was easy. I quickly received a call from the office to confirm and schedule the time. The office person was kind and respectful. Dr. Danielle called shortly after. She was here on time and so gental and caring. She gave us some of his fur and made a paw print keepsake. There was also a memorial book given. It's been 2 weeks and so far I can't get past the 1st page without tears so I haven't been able to look at it. We also received a very nice follow up letter and some grief info. I would highly recommend this company.

I would give 10 stars if allowed. We were referred to them as we knew our Howie was at that point. We simply wanted it done at home so his final moments would not be in a strange place. They were very quick to respond and extremely patient with all of our questions. Dr. Danielle was amazing with us and Howie in our Home. We decided to have him privately cremated and the they were so amazing with every step. Terrific people.

Callie grew up with me. I picked her out at the pound just a few weeks after I bought my first home. 14 years, 5 houses, 2 states, and 2 human babies later, it was time for us to say goodbye. I woke up to find her on the floor, splayed out, and exhausted. Her arthritis had finally caught up with her despite every supplement, walk, vitamin, and dog food we could find. I knew it was time. We called a few places and none were as kind or as available as Lap of Love. Dr. Harvey came to our home and very patiently talked to us about Callie's current condition, if there were any alternative steps we could take for her, and ultimately we decided it was time. With one of our kids present and two of her "fur sisters" she peacefully passed in her bed. I hope it is a long, long time before we have to invite Lap of Love back into our home, but they will definitely be our only call. We are very thankful for them and the service they provide. Dr. Harvey was exactly who you would want to have in a time like this.

My parents recently had to say goodbye to our family dog of 14 years, Pepe. They were absolutely devastated to see him go but knew it was best for him. Dr. Lexi Harvey was AMAZING! She came to their home, explained everything that would happen, gave them all the time they needed to say goodbye, and was kind and respectful. After she left, she has continued to follow up to check on my parents and make sure they are doing okay during this transition. Pepe's remains were well cared for and put into a beautiful memory box to honor him. This has been a very tough week, but knowing that Pepe had a beautiful loving sendoff, brings peace to us all. Can't thank Dr. Lexi and Lap of love enough! We will always remember your compassion and empathy. Thank you

I am writing my review today, 1 year after putting my sweet dog, Buffy. She was the best thing that ever happened to me for the last 15 years. Putting her down was the hardest day of my life. Dr Alondra Velez was so sweet, gentle and caring to me and my baby. She made the worst day tolerable. And when I look back on it I know she passed peacefully and with all the love. I am writing a year later because today I received an email from lap of love, probably automated, saying they were thinking of me and know how hard it is for me today being the year anniversary of losing Buffy. Even though it was automated, it still was such a nice touch to to feel seen and acknowledging the pain I was in.

After looking at a number of reviews for places like this I was worried that I was going into some kind of scam. They were going to come in and fleece me for all sorts of things I didn't need at a time when I was vulnerable. Not the case with this place. I called and they were the most sympathetic people you could have talked to. They understood the gravity of the situation, scheduled a doctor to come out same day, charged me over the phone and walked me through what to expect. Dr. Alondra Velez came out and was the most caring and thoughtful person we could have asked for. My dog even perked up when she entered the room! She took care of everything and followed up with us afterward to make sure we are ok. What a wonderful person! I'm sorry you have to read this and make the decision you have to make. This is a great company to help ease the pain if you decide this is the path to go down.

I recently had to make the difficult decision of laying my little soulmate to rest. Where do I begin in a review for the angels that comprise this organization. From my very first phone call to find out how this process works, I was met with patience, compassion, kindness and a sense of peace. I felt like I could make an informed decision because this team walked me through options, services, the grieving process, the process itself and how everything would work. They spoke of my pup as my family member and it was so appreciated. To Dr. Elena Esparza..thank you just doesn't seem to be enough. Thank you for showing grace and patience in wavering moments of questioning my decision. For the space to process. For you kindness from the moment you walked into our home. You were a light in one of the most difficult times for me and made this process a beautiful one for my girl. You were gentle and compassionate and allowed me the space to grieve and then took such gentle care of my girl. Not to mention the follow up in the days after and resources provided by your team. You all helped the grieving process immensely and allowed a deep breath in the days after. You and your entire team is appreciated. If this incredibly difficult time and decision is facing you, I implore you to call these wonderful people. This process was a gift and I thank them for it.

    Cameo at 5 years
    Cathleen C.

We had to make the difficult decision to euthanize my "baby" cat, Cameo, who would have turned 16 this summer. She started her life as a feral kitten in a large colony that had grown in the yard of a long-vacant house that we had just moved into. Because she was so sassy and curious I was able to coax her into becoming one of our indoor cats... and she never wanted to go outside again. It terrified her. So when we made the decision we knew we didn't want her last hour horrified by having to go into the carrier then into the car. I queried Nextdoor and Lap of Love was recommended, specifically citing Dr Scott. They were able to accommodate me with a next-day appointment. Dr Scott arrived on time and was wonderful helping Cameo and me be at ease. He is gentle, compassionate and sympathetic. I've always stayed with my pets whenever I've had to euthanize them, and every death was made easier from the knowledge I was with them at the end and I trusted the vet. But I've never had as comforting experience as this at the end of my pet's life. Before calling to make the appointment I prayed for a loving, stressless experience, and tonight as I think back on my sweet Cameo I thank God for answering my prayer.

Doctor Elizabeth was Wonderful. I struggled to ensure I was doing the right thing to let go. My Pug Mr. Peabody was the only dog I had ever had as an adult. I'd had him for 8 1/2 years and did not want to let go. Dr Elziabeth explained it all to me and ensured I was making the kindest decision. She was kind, patient, and understanding. It was a terrible time but Laps of Love made it more bearable. I'd give anything to have Mr. P back.

    My pup, Diesel.
    Corin G.

Dr. Elena Esparza came to my house and was so kind and compassionate with my dog, Diesel. It was such a positive experience for my pup and I. He passed at home, comfortably and with dignity. I appreciate the services you all provide so much! Dr. Elena is simply the best! I would absolutely recommend their services if you're considering at-home euthanasia. I couldn't have asked for a better experience during this difficult time! Thank you!

Our sweetest 13 year old mix, Nemmie, took a sharp turn for the worse after a brief battle with splenic cancer. I reached out to AARP on a Friday in hopes of scheduling them over the weekend. I was able to schedule online, and Shelley reached out the following morning to confirm the appointment and provide resources and instructions. Unfortunately, Nemmie's condition rapidly declined and it was clear that she would not make it to the original appointment. I reached out the Shelley, who was able to reschedule our appointment to that same day to make sure our sweet girl could be put to rest with dignity and little to no suffering. Dr. Falcone was the vet assigned to us. She called me roughly 30 minutes prior to the appointment time, letting me know that she was in the area and could arrive before the 12pm appointment. However, she also let us know that it was completely okay if we wanted her to wait until the original appointment time so we could spend an extra few minutes with our girl. She arrived promptly at the appointment time, and was nothing short of an angel for our girl (and for us) throughout the entire experience. I can imagine that having her job would not be an easy one. However, she handled our situation with such grace, empathy, and kindness. Before the procedure started, she took the time to walk us through each step of the process. She also made sure to be as gentle as possible, while getting Nemmie as comfortable as possible before everything started. We also have another dog in the house, who was very curious about what was going on. Dr. Falcone was so sweet to him as well, and let him sniff her, give licks, and be all up in her business prior to the procedure starting. She also did not rush us at any point in the slightest, and gave us all the time we needed to say goodbye to our sweet girl. Once the procedure had finished and Nemmie was no longer with us, again, Dr. Falcone let us have as much time as wanted to say our final goodbyes. She also allowed me the privilege of lifting my girl onto the stretcher, covering her with a blanket, and helping carry her out of our house and to Dr. Falcone's car for transportation to the crematorium. One small little touch that I'll forever remember. She was also very clear that there are two options for having your dog's ashes returned to you: either having them shipped to the vet, or shipped directly to your home. AARP's services, quality of care, and empathy for their clients & their pets are truly second to none. The opportunity to have been able to put our girl to rest in the comfort of her lifelong home while surrounded by love and comfort, is truly something that you can't put a price on. When your inevitable duty as a pet parent to see your pet off to the Rainbow Bridge comes, I can't recommend using All About Restful Pets enough. They truly are the best at what they do, and make the worst day of your life just a little bit better.

She insisted our veterinarians were wrong and "didn't know what they were doing," which was completely inappropriate and irrelevant to why she was here. I repeatedly asked her to focus on Zeus, who was battling cancer and ready to cross the rainbow. Instead of compassion, she made an already devastating day even harder. When it came time for the euthanasia, she struggled to find a vein and roughly manipulated his leg for nearly ten minutes while he lay there and I was sobbing. She then attempted a heart stick, but her hands were shaky and her approach was harsh, as if he were an object rather than our beloved family member. Her lack of professionalism, skill, and empathy turned one of the most painful days of our lives into something traumatic. She showed no sympathy, no gentleness, and made us feel guilty at a moment when we needed support. This experience was unacceptable, and I would not trust her with any animal.
