My husband and I decided to go have lunch, and raise my salsa level back up to an acceptable level. He swears my blood is 3/4 salsa. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and were taken to a comfortable booth. The decor is very nice, and the dining area is clean. The lighting is low, but not so low you need a flashlight to see the menu, or a lighthouse to find your way around. The salsa is perfect. And the food! We found this place on Yelp while driving through town. I'm so glad we stopped. We came in for lunch and the place was very busy. They did have tables blocked off to make sure there was distance between the customers. The employees also all wore masks. It took a few minutes for our server to come over but when she did she was friendly and helpful. The chips and salsa she dropped off were really tasty. They also gave each of us a small bowl for our salsa. I thought it was a great idea during these Covid times. We all drank water and our server was great about refilling our glasses. I ordered the burrito bowl. I think it was the best one I've ever had. The portion size was large and they weren't stingy with their steak meat. The steak had a great flavor. All of the flavors worked together to make for a delightful meal. There were four of us there. Two of us ordered the burrito bowl and we both felt it was amazing. We enjoyed it very much. Here are three pictures of what we ate. The fourth person received his late, but not too much later. I didn't take a pic of his meal, but he liked it. The service was good. The server was sweet and friendly. I appreciated that they brought us two separate baskets/bottles of chips and salsa - because there were four of us. One of the pics is a quesadilla meal (with rice and beans). That quesadilla was not large, sort of small/medium. My husband ordered just the quesadilla (not the meal) and it was bigger. I guess if you order the meal, expect a smaller quesadilla. Also, with the rising prices of food, restaurants are becoming nearly cost-prohibitive, we are finding fewer restaurants where we can eat without breaking the bank (January 2023). Remarkable service that exceeded our expectations! We visited Fajita Grill in Dawsonville on a busy Friday night after being invited to a friends birthday. The restaurant did a great job of accommodating our large group of 22 on a busy Friday night and we were seated outdoors on their patio. I must give accolades to our server, Christian (Chris) who displayed tremendous patience and hospitality to our very diverse and at times demanding group. If there was any one single reason I would return to this establishment it would be for the service we received. Christian knew the menu, had answers for every question and was amazingly attentive. Order accuracy was 100% spot on, our first food order was brought out by a young lady who had no idea what the plate contained and simply shouted "I have a number 3". She stood for a moment as none of us had seen any numerical menu reference and had no idea what a #3 was and she walked back toward the door, plate in hand. As she reached the door Christian was coming out with handfuls more and he brought each order to exactly who ordered including special orders like my wife's who ordered her dairy free. Every order was correct and placed in front of the correct person. My wife enjoyed her Texas Fajita and said it was "ok". I ordered the Chimichanga with Beef and despite the great service, this is where they lost a star. the taste and texture were mediocre at best. I usually will eat the main entree but half-way through I was done with my plate and did not request a take-home box as I knew I would not warm this up at a future time. My rice and refried beans tasted like they were probably served out of a can brought in bulk supply from a food distributor such as Sysco. The restaurant has made some renovations since we were last there and the added light and space are very pleasing.
