Normally I am very happy with the pizza I receive from Larosa's, however my experience with this location was very disappointing. The pizza I received was very thin and lacked the normal amount of toppings. It was as if they ran out of toppings or forgot to add them. Additionally, I had requested a side of ranch from the cashier but did not receive the ranch. Overall this was my worst experience with any LaRosa's. I would recommend going to the Independence location instead. read more

Huge fan of my hometown Cincinnati staples. We've always wanted to stop here on our way home to Lex, but haven't until today. Service was great, atmosphere was nice. Games on, not too crowded and just right noise level. The baked onion soup was awesome, but needs a tad more cheese atop it (I'm a cheese junkie). The creamy garlic dressing is awesome! This location is hit or miss. When it's good it's a great night out. But when it's off you spend the night tracking down your server for refills, your food, or paying the check. It's not uncommon to be seated and forgotten. We've left a few times because no server showed up. We also have received some of the best servers there as well. A really good pizza place. They have a great menu with lots of options. Pretty good food, the service was good, the kids loved it. They have a coca cola freestyle machine (first sit down restaurant I've found where I can get cherry vanilla coke). The waitress was nice and went out of her way to make my kids happy. We visited from Texas and were in doubt as to trying something we had never heard of. While I would give the taste of the food 4/5 stars, I'd give everything else 5/5. Along with the most amazing dessert- smashed cannoli is one of the best desserts ever. Our server was Fantastic . Attentive and sweet. The manager came around a couple times. Most of the time, our experience is wonderful. If you go on a super busy night, maybe not as great, but never horrible. One of the best assets at this location is the staff. They only hire clean, professional and friendly people... which seems like it wouldn't be a big deal but it really is in this area. My Mother and I are in town to visit the Ark Encounter. We are both pizza lovers and are very picky about our pizza. We ordered a thin crust Hawaiian pizza. Wow it was delicious, the crunchy bacon bits were my favorite part paired with the pineapple. It comes with banana peppers. My Mom is a fan of them me not so much so I left them off my half. The hole pizza was awesome right down to the crust, sauce and toppings. Highly recommend. We even have leftovers for breakfast! We both give the pizza a 5. This place is great for parties. They have large dining areas and serve alcohol. The food is very good and it's very easy to order more than you can handle. They always have new items on the menu and many drink options. I love the fresh new look of the place, it provides a nice modern feel to the experience.
