This is my secret lunch spot. They do mostly carry out and people don't seem to realize that you can dine in. There are only about six tables but typically it is empty. The dining area is always clean. Their lunch combos are great and usually come out quickly. The salads are always fresh with no wilted lettuce. The pizza is soooo much better when it is fresh from the oven! read more

Called in for a pick up. Friendliest person you could talk to took my order. Since I'm not from the area I asked if this location was close to pick up from where I was and to where I was going. She gave me directions to get there. So perfect. I ordered a cheese and pepperoni with extra sauce and got exactly that. Some places here in an Michigan are pretty lame with extra sauce. The pizza was baked crisp like I like it. The right amount of sauce and a good amount of pepperoni. I just want to thank them for making an out of towner feel like home. read more

Call beforehand. Cozy Restaurant. Great Prices! My friends and I were making a quick road stop, and decided Italian was the way to go. This restaurant has parking, and has 2 booths, and 3 tables (so I would say it's on the smaller side). I ordered a calzone, as those seem to the specialty there, and I'm very glad I did. All the ingredients were fresh, and my calzone was cooked perfectly. It was a 4 cheese blend, and came with a cup of red sauce on the side so it was perfect for me! I would say that it took a little longer than expected for our order, but I perfectly understand. I would say, if you know you're coming, getting a head start by calling in your order wouldn't be bad (: if you come here, I definitely recommend getting a Calzone' if you don't eat too much, you can split your calzone in half and have a side of salad or something. Overall, for their price and quality, I think this place is as good as it gets! read more

While making my way back to Lexington from Cincinnati, I first attempted to stop at another Florence location that is apparently now closed. This was my second LaRosa's attempt of the day. Going by the sign from the interstate, I almost passed it up and gave up before even finding this location. Finally, we spotted it... in a small, corner location in a strip mall. I think that they're mostly a delivery location because there were very few tables. We went inside and immediate were less than welcomed by the baseball patrons, I thought they were waiting in line but later found out that they were waiting on pizza. Hovered or gathered around the few tables available and just steps from the door and register. It was extremely awkward and not how I like to enjoy a meal. I asked where the bathroom was and was informed that they don't have one. What? I thought that there was some sort of law requiring a bathroom... I guess not. I must wash my hands before eating, so we left. The only reason that I am giving the extra star is because I didn't actually have the pizza... and that possibly is worth a chance. read more

Great food. We tried spinach Rondos, kitchen chips and hoagies. All perfectly prepared and delicious. I hear you can get beer at all the other locations except this one. So perfect for quick sit down style or carry out authentic Italian fare. read more

Frozen pizza from the store taste better. The cheese was burnt, it tastes like rubber. The only reason why it gets 2 stars is that they deliver and are open late. If there pizza was that bad I could not imagine what there sandwich taste like. Won't go back. read more

Wanted something different, ordered XL original deluxe. It has been years since I last ordered from LaRosa's. Remember that it was good but pricey. Can you say Red Baron frozen pizza. My $22.00 LaRosa's pizza was no better than any frozen pizza. Over cooked, thin toppings, cardboard taste. I ate 2 pieces and gave the rest away. Never again will I order LaRosa's pizza. read more

Food has been great! My husband always gets pizza without cheese and they make the pizza correct for him, unlike other pizza joints around! We usually get delivery and our food is always delivered on time and is pipping hot! I only gave 4 stars, since my last visit was just okay! I ordered a Baked Royal Hoagie the hoagie only had one slice of meat, which it's supposed to have more than that! However I will continue to order from this location. Most Greater Cincinnatians know LaRosas. If you don't go in expecting a magical experience because of hype, you shouldn't be disappointed. This particular location is SMALL. I wouldn't begin to recommend it for eat in. Its smaller by half than a typical Subway. But to give a place a bad review because its a carryout is doing it a disservice. Everyone has different tastes. But LaRosas food has never disappointed. From pasta to hoagies to Calzones ( though the portion size of these has shrunk) to pizza the food has been consistently excellent. read more

The food is below decent but in fairness, the service was a lot better than other Olive Garden restaurants I have tried. The waitress at the bar messed up our orders but she was apologetic and rectified it immediately. I would therefore recommend coming here for a drink and coffee and skip the food. read more

You know, I'm typically not a fan of Larosa's, but last night, after driving for several hours in the pouring rain and traffic to my hair appointment on Mt. Zion with a hungry little girl in tow, at 9:00, in lieu of drive through fast food chicken and fries, we walked into this semi-take out location of Larosa's and was greeted happily by a younger girl at the counter who was genuinely kind and helpful. Ordered a medium pepperoni pizza with hand tossed crust and sat down. There was some sort of show on that may/may not have been appropriate for young ears right above our table, and without even blinking, this gal changed the channel to Disney for my little one. We were the only customers inside, as they closed at 10 pm, but she clearly has a good sense of customer service. Add to that she was friendly, efficient, and helpful. The pizza was also pretty good--much better than that at local Covington and Newport Larosa's locations which always tastes like it's been sitting for a while. read more
