It's been about a 18 months since my mom passed and we used to stop at this restaurant to have spaghetti together on our way home to Georgetown from Cincinnati on day trips, mom wasn't to mobile so these trips on her own and didn't happen as often as mom liked. Being my first time here since her passing I had a breakdown of the memories while having Spaghetti and my Server Danielle P. and general manager Matt is just a demonstration of the compassionate staff, and made my visit memorable. We were on vacation and stumbled across this restaurant. Very affordable, great for kids, fast and friendly staff! They had big matts for the kids to color and write on while they wait... and they even got gold fish crackers to snack on while we waited. Kid's meals were $3.99 including the drink..: great deal!!! LaRosa's has the same great food you get each time. It is very expensive for what you get. Also, their JoJo salad had changed. They didn't have the vegetables it normally has and the family size was pretty small. read more

Let me just say...WOW! From the salad to the appetizer to the pizza to the lasagna right back to the service, WOW! I've had pizza in NYC and Chicago, pizza made by people who speak only Italian. I thought I've had the best. Well played LaRosa's...well played. Creamy garlic salad dressing was fantastic. Garlic fries were the most dangerous thing I've ever tasted. And then... my pizza was...wait for it....late. Wife had her lasagna just about finished and I hadn't gotten my pizza yet. So, the manager brings out the pizza on the house. Now, it wasn't just good because it was free. It was excellent because it was excellent. The waitress was on point, friendly, new the menu, all that. I don't know why the pizza was late, but honestly, I didn't even notice it was late because the appetizer was so good I could've left satisfied after that. Woahh!! We came here for dinner after a 6 hour drive from Illinois to visit Noah's Ark the next day and wow is this a great spot. It was so good we had dinner here again the next day! I didn't expect amazing pizza from this place but this was not good at all. Ordered the original and the meat lovers. The meat was dried out, the pizza was cut into squares and the sauce was way to dark for any one to call it pizza sauce. Dessert was no better. read more

The staff is friendly. The restaurant is not the cleanest. The pizza was more like a frozen store brand pizza at gourmet pizza prices. It was terrible, but it certainly was not good. read more

Stayed in Dry Ridge after visiting The Ark Encounter. There are not that many restaurants to choose from. This pizza place is across the street from the hotel we stayed in. We ordered chicken wings and two flat bed pizza. The pizzas are a little too greasy but taste not bad. Chicken wings are tasty. Servers are friendly. read more

We are currently traveling full-time and trying out local pizza stops. This did not live up to my expectations. Sauce is sweet which is not my preference. The service was not great but they did get several large tables at once. The house salad was good but the pizza was meh. We arrived at 10pm in Dry Ridge to see the Ark the next morning and ran around trying to find a place to stay, which we finally found a room at comfort inn. I asked the desk clerk is there anywhere good to eat at this time of night and he said the only place would be LAROSAS, we arrived at 10:30pm and walked in to many smiling faces even though it was so late, these workers were amazing. We ordered the garlic cheese sticks and a large pizza and both was so amazing. One of the best pizzas my wife and I have had. Look forward to visiting again. If you want good service and wonderful food go to LAROSAS. read more

Decent service. Food is usually good. Keep a fairly clean restaurant. I usually get it delivered and it always is on time and the food is hot. Has a cool atmosphere for families or just a place to hang out. read more

We stop here whenever we go through the area. The lunch special with personal pizza and salad is fantastic. The salad is fresh and substantial and the pizza is, well, it's LaRosa's! I usually take half in a box and eat it later. Now we are anxious for the new location near Lexington to open soon. I recommend this place to all of my friends and coworkers. read more

Typically love LaRosa's but this location has its issues. Inattentive staff and the last two out of three times I've ordered a cheese pizza, I've come to find it had pepperoni on it; yes they show you the pizza before you leave, but that doesn't help if it's buried under cheese. If you're on a time constraint dining in, I can't wait for a new pizza. read more

Enjoy the food! However, after a substantial tip for appreciation, the driver hit our cast iron mailbox. While accidents do occur, I would've expected her to knock on door and inform us. Instead, she drove off. I contacted the store; after being transferred around, the GM said he'd be to our house and would ensure it was taken care of. GM came, too pic, proceeded back to store; all along saying they'd make this right. He called back, stating his driver said she didn't do it and now was unsure what they could do. The following day the GM called with a pathetic offer of compensation and were not willing to fix it(which is all we asked to be done). Needless to say, their sad offer was declined and I'm posting this review. Honesty was the first course of action, which the driver obviously knows nothing of and follow through on a Companies directive and "promise". While our personal orders won't be missed; I guarantee our Corporate orders will be!! read more

We are visiting from TX amd met some family we never get to see. They seated us and no one talked to us for about 20 minutes. They seated another group right by us and they immediately got service. Then there was an 'error' with the order machine and it took another rediculous amount of time to get our food. Our kids were really hungry. Worst service I've ever had. :( We were there for about 2 hours and it wasn't because we wanted to be. Apparently it was our waitress' first night, then why was she by herself all night? I wouldn't have a person on their first night by themselves, poor girl. The manager comped our bill thats why they got 2 stars. Would have been 1 otherwise. Not very impressed at all. When we first walked in the young waitress and the young bus boy/server were smirking as if they were making jokes about us, came off as quite rude. As for the food, it was horrible. We ordered onion fries that were extremely greasy and poor quality. I ordered a cheese pizza and it looked as if it was dropped on the floor! I had a large portion of my pizza with no cheese and very little sauce...what sauce it did have was bundled in one area of the pizza...Obviously whomever made this pizza did not truly care. Both my wife and myself did not feel good at all shortly after eating there, this is day two and my stomach is still not 100%. Its apparent that this place lacks management as it lacks in quality control and a sincere care for its customers. This is the second time we have visited this particular establishment and we will certainly not return. Pizza hut is right next door, we'll go there next time we are in Dry Ridge. read more
