I recently bought a Lincoln Navigator and added the black label package for service pick up. The first attempt they never showed even though I got a confirmation text the morning of. When I tried calling all of the lines were busy and I could not find anyone to talk to. When I did get through they said they didn't have enough information for my car to be picked up. That's fine but I got a confirmation the morning of that everything was ready. Now I am sitting here today after another attempt and it's and hour and fifteen minutes overdue. A little late is fine but I have been trying to call to make sure someone is coming and guess what, no one is answering the phone! Wow! I wish I would have known before I bought a car here. This is where the positives end. - extremely pushy back office finance/sales managers - insult your intelligence by trying to convince you that you are better off financially by trading in verses selling privately - lies about the state of interest rates and what the Fed may or may not do (speculation vs. facts) - generally lack of human decency, and common respect I was able to get a vehicle that was one year newer than theirs, with 30,000 less miles on it, for $4,000 dollars cheaper elsewhere. They are not even a little bit competitive. It's shocking they are able to stay in business, to be honest. Please, do your research thoroughly, before deciding to buy from Larry H. Miller. purchased a vehicle from this dealership back in September and had some family issues come up that prevented me from picking it up until Oct 15th. I had asked my salesperson to have a few things looked at and fixed before I picked it up and he said of course. 1 main issue a leak. I picked up the vehicle and of course it was all clean and warm but to my dismay the following day in my driveway I saw the leak was not fixed. I have been fighting them to get it repaired since then and was now told since it wasn't written down as work to be done they would do nothing to fix it. I have been given the run around since November and now having to pay 6000 to have someone else repair what they should have fixed or refunded my money back in November. I had been a 15 year customer of the LHM dealerships but find myself disgusted with them now and will never buy or service anything form any of the dealerships. This is got to be the worst experience that I've ever had at a dealership. I brought my Ford cargo van in for an oil change because I had a deal. The initial service tech spent 10 minutes arguing with me, telling me why I couldn't use the deal there. As he walked away another service tech came up and said of course they could help me. I'm extremely grateful for this Tech and his talents and personality are wasted at this god-awful place. I came back the following week to give them another chance and because they now had all of my info in their system. The oil change I had was fine but it did take two hours! My van is still under warranty and it had some warranty issues. Not only did I sit in the lobby for 3 hours with not a soul coming to find me or let me know that it was going to take longer than expected but I had to go up myself to see what was taking so long. They hadn't even touched my car!! According to the service manager, my car is sitting there "ready for me". Well if it was, then why didn't you come and get me?! And wth had they been doing with it for three hours? This was the biggest waste of my time and after the general lack of respect, I will never be back. There are plenty of other Ford dealers that can service my car under warranty. Not to mention that while I was sitting and waiting for my car some sales guy came up and asked to appraise it. Hah! I couldn't get him to go away. I guess he had some kind of quota to meet. I said several times that I'm not interested in selling my car but he said he just wanted to appraise it anyway. I finally caved because I felt sorry for the guy. and of course he comes back "prepared to make me a trade-in offer." Arrrgghh. Not interested in selling. But he continued to sit next to me and chat. I just wanted to be done and leave. Finally I got up, announced I was going to find out what was taking them so long, and he handed me his card! When I got to the patronizingly nice service manager he also handed me his card ...after he tells me they didn't even diagnose the check engine light. Be very careful with your business here. They Spot finance you which is a terrible way to do business. I'm from Minnesota just moved here about a year ago, spot financing is not done in Minnesota. I came to Ford on Monday wanting to upgrade my truck, which I knew would cost me more in payment. So I found an amazing truck, told them a down payment and they ran my credit (I got the notification) about 10 minutes later the sales guy comes to me and says I'm good to go and gave me payment options. After talking i settled on one, i then waited for finance while the new truck was being cleaned and detailed. I go to finance and sign all the paperwork get all my copies, not once was I told it still had to be approved. I transfer everything over to my new amazing truck and leave. Two days later they call me and tell me the financing is having trouble going through and need to visit other avenues to complete my deal (which I didn't get since I signed and was told it was complete). So they run my credit 3 more times I got the notifications from my credit wise, this I did not agree to. Around 630pm I still had not heard anything so I brought the truck back to the dealer. There I found out about the spot financing, I told them I did not feel right holding onto a truck that I did not own and if something happened I would be liable to fix it they couldnt complete the deal. So I had to hand over the keys move everything again to my other truck I traded in, I lost an amazing truck I was unbelievably crushed driving out of the lot. I was told they would call me today Thursday to let me know that they got it all worked out, but I've heard nothing and my emails have gone unanswered. This is not a way to do business. You completely crushed a customer, two days of driving around in what I thought was my new baby truck, enjoying everything about it and BAM! Its was taken away from me like that. read more

NOT COVID SAFE, LAZY AND RUDE STAFF First, I was never a big fan of this place because I feel like they make things way too complicated and don't think that much about the costumer as they do about the money, maybe that's all the dealerships but... Today there was way too many people in the store, not only costumers but also people working here, a lot of the staff were just hanging around doing nothing when they could be at home, take in mind there was a lot of costumers today and still lots of staff doing nothing. Not COVID safe, half of the staff was not wearing masks properly, only covering half of their face, only wearing around the costumers, sometimes they would take them off around each other. Some costumers had their masks off and some even were closing deals on cars and both the costumers and the staff helping had no mask on. No social distancing was enforced or followed by anyone in there, no hand sanitizer available upon arrival and upon entering the building, also I saw no cleaning at all, tables where people were sitting, chairs and sofas were not cleaned, door and door handles, it was a big mess. Updated. Worst experience ever. After working with multiple sales people and then working with the sales managers for weeks. Repeatedly being ignored, put off, not getting phone calls as promised and basically kept in the dark as to where we were at in the process of working a deal. Completely unprofessional. To top things off I had planned on going in to the dealership on Saturday to complete my deal as they had been working on the financing since the previous Friday (I had heard nothing from anyone at the dealership to indicate they had sold my truck or to let me know the status whatsoever), only to find out they had sold the truck I had been working a deal on. Normally not a huge deal but at the end of the model year and having specific options and features stock was very limited. So in summation, Larry Miller Ford Draper went from having a loyal customer after my first truck purchase from them, to now I likely will never go back to this dealership, not even for service or parts. So far so good. I love my new 2016 F150. My sales person was Tony, he was very patient and explained all the different options and packages available so that I got the truck I wanted. Houston in finance was also very helpful when completing the final part of my sale. I would recommend this dealer to people I know. read more

Purchased a BMW from David Cisnero at the LHM Ford in Draper. One of the selling points was that I would get a year free of oil changes. Well today I came to get my first oil change and find out they will only cover the basic oil change not the oil which my car is suppose to have. I attempted to talk with the sales manager, service manager and finance supervisor but just got transferred from one person to the other. End result is I have to pay for an upgraded oil change. Wow! I've set up multiple appointments, which they have told me that they don't have it in their systems and have made me reschedule. I've set up 5 appointments to get my car fixed and each time I have taken it in, they don't fix the problem. I've asked to speak to a manager and waited 30 minutes to see him. He didn't even take care of me and it was obvious that he didn't care about me or my needs. Everyone that I've worked with at Ford doesn't care about their customers and it is obvious. Let's face it, unless money isn't an issue, car shopping is one of life's most stressful experiences. What should I get? A car? A truck? An SUV? Should I buy new or used? How much are my payments going to be? In times like these we turn to knowledgeable experts who can help us navigate these confusing waters. I went into this dealership hoping to get some answers about the Ford Escape. When my partner and I first sat down with the salesman we told him that we were simply there to gather information. We told him we were in no way ready to talk about purchasing a vehicle. I just wanted more information about the Escape. Even though I didn't know much about the specs of the car, I feel like I knew just as much as the salesman. You sell these cars, how do you not know about your own vehicles? And if maybe this isn't your specialty, why wouldn't you go and grab someone who does know. He did wander off a few times, but never returned with any useful Information. Instead he insisted that we fill out paperwork so that they could try and sell us a car, which we told him we weren't at all interested in doing. But by far the worst part of the experience was when I informed the salesman that we were out of time and that I literally had to run out the door to get to next appointment. He had taken my keys so that they could "appraise" my trade in, which I hadn't asked him to do and now they had my keys and I had to leave. I asked him politely to go get my keys immediately and he wandered off again. 10 minutes LATER he comes walking back with the manager. At this point we are literally standing by the front of door waiting for the keys so that we can rush off. Well instead of handing me my keys the manager launches into a sales pitch. I inform the manager that we will be more than happy to return and talk when we have time but that we needed to leave NOW. He then switches angles and launches into yet a sales pitch. At this point, my partner and I are finished and he says in a firm voice, We are not interested, we need to leave NOW. The manager in a curt voice says, Then leave. I look him straight in the eye and say, I can't leave without my keys! At which point he finally leaves to get my keys. The salesman who had been helping us before stands there sheepishly and mutters something like, Oh I told him but I guess he forgot. Are you kidding me? I will NEVER buy a vehicle from this dealership. Your intimation tactics are unacceptable. The fact that you held my keys hostage is borderline criminal. Maybe these tactics work on timid humans, but I honestly don't know how you keep your doors open with "service" like that. read more

My lease was coming to end and I was planning on buying it out. That was until the dealership added their "Customer Buy Fee" of $1,500 dollars on top of the residual, tax, title and license, and the DOC fee. I tried to work with the dealership and asked them to show me where they disclose the "Customer Buy Fee" upfront when I originally took delivery on the vehicle. I enjoyed the F-150 but will be turning it in and taking my business elsewhere. This dealership sold my special order Bronco Sport to somebody else. I reserved my Bronco in August 2020. A few months later it came time to turn my reservation into an order. I picked out all my options, signed the appropriate documents and my order was sent off to be made. I tracked it online to follow it through the building process. My Bronco was set to deliver the week of May 20th. I had chatted with my sales rep a few days prior to that with some basic questions about the Bronco and sell process. During that conversation she said she had another call and would call me back. She never did. I then waited for them to call and say my Bronco had arrived around the 20th. They never did. I called and talked to the same sales rep asking if my Bronco had arrived. She said she would look and call me right back. She never did. The next day, I got a call from a manager saying he had bad news and that their "wires got crossed" and they sold my special order Bronco to somebody else. Obviously I was frustrated. They offered to possibly get me a Bronco, somewhat similar to the special one I had ordered in possibly a few weeks. I was so upset by what happened that I told them I don't want them to get my business now or in the future. Now, I don't know if they truly miscommunicated and accidentally sold my special order or if they got more out of it than what we had agreed to. I was bothered most by the lack of responsibility and failure of communication. Especially on an item I have been waiting for for several months. They have lost my business for good. read more

Buckle up for this one y'all. They've taken 6 weeks to fix my cars AC (never calling me when the compressor came in, and not honoring an immediate service when the part came in)... I've been in 4 times now with a brand new car and no AC during this heat of wave. They've already fired John in service probably because he dropped the ball... but after a day and a half, I picked my car and drove home with the AC still not being fixed. I drove all the way back to be told that they can't look at it for a few more days? They have offered no rentals, nothing compensatory (despite me upgrading for their extended warranty plan) for the huge inconvenience of taking time off off work, telling ubers to go to the wrong place and further wasting my time . I'm mad I bought this brand new car from them because I'm going to have to keep going in. I still haven't gotten the $500 rebate that they offered with my purchase. Not to mention the significant low balling I got from sales when used car prices went up (they offered even lower than their initial amount when my car came in). I'm wondering if I need to cut my losses and sell my new bronco. read more

We bought a Ford Explorer a month and a half ago. We had to be within a certain payment so after they agreed to meet that payment and we were promised that payment by several employees We signed paperwork and took the vehicle home that evening. We came back 3 days later to put a big down payment down and at that time we were blind sided with new paperwork and $100 added on to our promised payment. At that point we had already put a ton of money down and fallen in love with the Explorer. We signed the papers hesitantly. We thought everything was said and done. I've called in several times to get a chip fixed in my window that was promised in the contract. Every time I called in no one would answer in the service department and I always got put on hold for several minutes until I finally hung up. The last time I called, about a week ago, I was notified for the first time that there was a problem with our funding. The lady said she would have the finance department call me back to explain what was going on, but they never did. A couple days later I got several emails notifying me that my credit had been pulled and that I had new hard inquiries on my credit. I hadn't given any consent for anyone to pull my credit so I was confused. I called Larry H Miller and they said that our contract had never been funded and that they pulled our credit again to see if they could get us a better deal. I was furious because we are trying to buy a house so the drop in our credit score really screwed us over. Regardless of their intent no one should be checking our credit score without asking us first. After several days of the finance director going back and forth trying to explain the issue with several questions still unanswered we decided we just wanted to turn the FORD explorer back in to Larry H Miller and go else where to buy a vehicle. The Finance director, Chris, was VERY rude and threatening and unremorseful about our situation. We are still fighting them and dealing with our credit issues and trying to find out about why a month and a half later nothing was funded. DO NOT buy from any Larry H Miller car dealership!!!! This is by far the worst dealership and business I have ever dealt with, period. Not only was my vehicle promised to me in 8-12 weeks (which felt quick given the circumstances with Covid, I assumed going in that it would be closer to the 12) but it has now been 6 months and I have had zero follow through. Every single time that I call to talk to someone about my order I get different answers. Such as; my vehicle wasn't ordered correctly, it was ordered correctly with a different order number, we need to to sign this extra form (4 months after the supposed order was submitted), the extra form is a "formality" and just to verify my information is correct. I was promised information regarding a similar vehicle they just got in, when it was ordered and an approximate deadline of mine, that was in February and literally to this day no phone call, no text message, NOTHING. Every time I personally reach out to my salesperson they ignore me until I have called and text them multiple times about the same thing and they give me the exact same response... "still unscheduled" Well no crap. This dealership definitely did not have an issue cashing my deposit check for my vehicle two days after receiving it, however. The check was cashed in October and it is mid-April and I have literally had zero help or contact since. This dealership, the people working there, and the way they conduct their business is an ABSOLUTE JOKE. This experience was actually excruciating from start to finish. My boyfriend purchased his truck from this dealership, and I honestly was always mystified why dealing with the service department seemed to be a constant battle and struggle. There is major lack of professionalism and customer service on SO many levels, if you are able to find any at all. They had a "rental" expedition waiting for him to come pick up as his truck is being serviced- and after 20 minutes of arguing with Rick Alvarez, we simply walked away from the counter and asked to have the keys brought out so we could just go without a scene- as it seems this is what the staff was hell bent on causing. I understand Rick is new and essentially the messenger, but when basic friendliness and manners are abandoned there really is no excuse. As we then waited an additional 20 minutes- keep in mind this was INSTRUCTED by the staff to come there- Eric Reams walked out with a smug and shitty attitude and informed us enterprise would be coming to get us, and that the expedition they had promised was "reserved". WHAT? Not only was it apparent that this was a blatant lie, they actually stooped to being that petty for simply being called on their mistakes. How any of these fools have a job baffles me. Odd that he never offered one apology nor really addressed the individual issues we had with purchasing a vehicle. Explained them all away as training issues. Such incredibly poor service and follow up. Don't be fooled by! His "attempt" to resolve any issues was totally without merit as he offered nothing to suggest those troublesome issues would be resolved. Nice try.....NOT! And we do want people to know that the vehicle we purchased seems to be in great shape. That is the one plus in all of this. It is a one owner vehicle and was the car was taken great care of; all inspections and maintenance done on schedule. Honestly, the only reason I gave it 1 star is because the purchase of our vehicle couldn't have been easier. Our salesman, Serghei, was so attentive and helpful. We were in and out within an hour. The downside is their service dept. If I based this review on them alone, it would have been a zero. We have owned the car less than 2 weeks, and it has been with the service center for the last 7 days. Very little to no communication, being put immediately on hold when calling for updates (they have caller id), and then being made to feel like I was in the wrong for wanting to know what was going on. The service manager, Eric, was so rude, made empty promises, and then argued with me about how I was going to get my vehicle back after saying they would deliver it to our home. We just received the vehicle back and on top of it all, it's filthy. It was the absolute worst experience. Aside from the vehicle we bought, I own an Explorer and I wouldn't take it there for service if it were free. If you are going to buy from them, buy brand new. That I was looking to find a trust worthy service center - since this was my first Ford. I was called about an hour later and was told my rear barrings were warped and that I needed new back brake pads. I explained that I just purchased the car form another LHM center... so I was surprised the vehicle had issues. He said - we are just recommending these fixes. I declined and went and got a second opinion at Les Swab. Turns out - there is nothing wrong with my car. I wont be back. read more

We also knew our budget and rough trade In value of our current vehicle. But soon after arriving at LHM Ford in Sandy we were met by a salesman (Ryan) the moment we stepped out onto the lot. We told him the details of our budget and the the desire to buy a Explorer. He was very excited to show us one that just came in on trade. We drove it and loved it, it was a nice vehicle and we were told in our price range. We asked him to work up the numbers. He came back mins later and said to my wife not me! "Get ready for your jaws to drop". He brought back the details of the offer, and the car was $11,000 more that what was quoted to us before we test driving it. Plus they gave us a low ball offer on our trade in. We started to walk away then the even more sleazy sale manger tried to jump into the conversation and "save the sale". By showing us other vehicles that we were not interested in. Now they are pestering my wife with calls every day even when we asked them to contact myself. I have been a professional salesman my whole career and these guys don't know the 1st things about listening to their consumer. I could not in good faith ever recommend this dealership to anyone. Needless to say we visited another Ford dealer in town (Henry Day Ford in West Valley) and were treated with respect. We were only shown cars within our budget. The only good thing about our experience buying a car here was our salesman, Eric. Everything after that was a mess! Finance, service, and even dealing with the managers was a waste of time. I bought a used truck less than a month ago. Bought the big extended warranty since it was used. Got in my truck today and it won't turn over, lights and all work. Called LM and the told me that no warranty the 1st 30 days. They wanted me to foot the bill for the tow to see if the would even cover it. I haven't even made my first payment, which by the way is huge for a truck. No I cannot afford A tow AND repair when I spent THOUSANDS for the warranty. Do not go here. I was excited to get my second vehicle here but apparently the customer no longer comes first or even matters. Now I am stuck. A $28K truck that is in my driveway. Thanks LHM for absolutely nothing. On Nov 17 2014 at around 9 pm my husband and I went to Larry H Miller Ford in Sandy, we were looking to purchase a vehicle, we told the sales person (I can't remember his name) what we were looking for, he found a vehicle on the lot we liked, I asked him to give us numbers, then the sales manager or financing manager (I can't remember his name) introduced himself to us and presented a deal for us with the vehicle in question of $1200 a month we said no, we were not willing to take on a payment that high, the sales manager or finance manager then asked us how much we were willing to pay a month because he was willing to make a deal because he wanted the car sold I told him no more than $800.00 a month, he then asked me if we were willing to lease I said "no" but he convinced me then he ran the numbers again, I gave him all my information and he proceeded to run the deal. While he was running the deal and numbers my husband and I went to Arby's across the street for a bite to eat, when we came back we were told by the salesperson that we were approved and we had a deal under the terms discussed (a 39 month lease with $840.00 down and $840.00 a month) my husband then asked and confirmed with him if the deal was 100% approved and he said yes we approved and good to go. Then they proceeded to get the vehicle ready, they washed it as we were speaking to the finance, his name is Joe (I can't remember his last name) Joe told us everything was set and since it was late if we didn't mind coming in the next business day witch was Monday to sign the documents, I told him due to my husband's business trip to Alaska that I could not come in until the following day witch was Tuesday, Joe said that would be fine. We then exchanged our things from our old car to our new car and we left satisfied and thinking we bought a new car. We then got a call on Monday from the sales person asking how we liked our new car and if we had any questions about the vehicle, I said no and that we were satisfied. My husband left for Alaska the following day and I went to the dealership on Tuesday and signed a few docs and received gifts from the Dealerships as a thank you for purchasing the vehicle, the gifts included Jazz Tickets, a Jazz Jersey and a Lincoln wooden box with a key chain. When my husband arrived in Alaska he called me and asked me if I went to sign the docs at the dealership, I said yes and explained to him how I received all the gifts from the dealership as a thank you, I also told him the docs were just two pieces of documents, my husband thought that was odd, he asked me if I paid the $840.00 down payment as agreed I said they did not ask for it, he also thought that that was odd, he told me he would call the dealership the next day as he just arrived and was trying to settle in his hotel. When my husband called Joe the next day, he asked him if I signed the docs he then mentioned that the financing was not secure, he then asked Joe why were we not told when the vehicle was delivered to us as we were told that night that we were approved and we had a deal. Joe then told my husbadn he wanted his information to put him on the deal and he told him again that he could not due to the fact that he was buying a home. He told Joe that they need to fix this situation as we were lied to and told we were approved and had a deal, then joe proceeded to tell him he had an approval but they wanted $17000 down payment, he told him again why weren't we told that the night we purchased the vehicle, I f we would have known that financing was not secure I would have never taken the vehicle that evening. We felt that we were being hooked on a sale and terms we never agreed with. During my husband's two week business trip in Alaska every other day he was on the phone with Joe trying to figure the situation h finally told Joe Ok we will meet you half way but you need to meet us half way and we can go with the approval and the $17000.00 down, even though we felt hooked and cheated he told him we can come up with $5000.00 in Dec $5000.00 in Jan and $7000.00 in March, after all they made a huge mistake and we were willing to move forward with the deal but again they needed to meet us half way. My husband never got a clear answer from Joe. He then had a friend of ours go to the dealership and talk to the General manager as my husband was still out of town, (during all of this I was very upset) the General manager of the dealership didn't even care and told our friend either we come up with $17000.00 now or no deal, in the meantime Joe went to other finance companies and pulled my credit 15 times and my credit dropped 35 points, my husband nor I never gave authorization for Joe and or the dealership to do such thing we thought we were approved when we purchased. I will Never go to any Larry H Miller Dealerships and I will advise any body to stay away. They will lie to your face and try to hook you in a deal that is not to your advantage. read more
