I have used Mr. Appliance in the past and had good experiences. However, a recent experience with…read morethem was so dreadful, I have to caution people to avoid this business. I was having new floors put into my home. In order to do that, my appliances had to be disconnected and reconnected. I called Mr. Appliance and they said sure. What I didn't know at the time is that the company now has set fees for dealing with appliances independent of job or size. So, for example, to move (twice) my fairly small wine chiller--2x3 feet--was over 600.00. They moved my microwave, which I had not asked for, and charged me over 300.00. All told, to move a fridge, wine cooler, microwave, dishwasher and stacked washer and dryer, Mr. Appliance charged me 2612.00. I should add that a friend--we had to be elsewhere for our floor replacement--watched all this work. None of it, except for moving the refrigerator was difficult and most was accomplished in minutes. I tried to get Mr. Appliance to work with me on the onerous fees but they did not. There was no appeals process nor were they especially interested in my concerns. So, DO NOT USE Mr. Appliance unless you are clear on what you will be charged before they come. Their prices are, at least for what I had done, insanely high. (And the fact that the payment screen asks that you tip is just too extra.)

Three men came to look at my home to explore possibilities…read morefor heating and air conditioning. Matthew had been here earlier. The man in charge was well informed and creative. The older man's behavior bothered me, for he walked outside without my permission. He made me nervous as he was outside for a long time. I thought perhaps he left to sit in one of their vehicles. However he walked all over my property , even going into my barn and the old kitchen. I am very protective of my home and our land, for our family has lived here for 203 years. I had already told these three men that I do not allow ANYONE to roam about my land without my being present. When he returned to the house, I was angry and hurt that he had walked, maybe even spied, on my land without my permission! I was eager for all Service Experts to depart quickly. They had promised to contact me with a possible proposal for the heating and air conditioning. Now more than a week later, I have called Service Experts on two occasions, they have NOT returned my calls. I have NOT received a letter explaining their possible plans and costs. Obviously I question the integrity of this company and their truthfulness. Their talk did not offend me, but their actions are highly questionable. I do not want such behaviors to be their actions in business practices. At this moment, I am questioning if Service Experts is a trustworthy and reliable business that I want in our home . I do NOT want the older man to return, and I am unsure if I want any person associated with this business to even remember my address. Service Experts must earn my faith and trust; otherwise I will need to contract with one other competitor for this critical project. I sincerely hope their behavior is not indicative of their usual business practice. Please respond to me as soon as possible. Dr. Charlotte Jones
