Update. I drove my car off the lot and 10 mins down the road it Threw an ABS code. I was really worried because everything was signed, and Maxx Auto could have just washed their hands of me. They totally took care of me! It was a nightmare for them NOT me. They took the car back got it fixed gave me a loaner for free. I have had the car back and it's been great for a month. I've had time to process through what felt odd about working with them from September 2024. I worked with them to buy a used car. I, of my own fault, mixed up the price with another vehicle, and unfortunately couldn't work with them to get the car back to their asking price. Ended up having to get a tire fix because there was a nail in it they messed up an oil change that caused leakage. Had to get that redone by another technician. Very friendly, but also was kind of a sad experience looking back on it in terms of being a lot of show but less than fully honest about the condition of the car. Bought a vehicle from this dealership from out of state. Was told it was in good condition and everything was functioning as it should, so I flew in to pick it up. When I arrived, the vehicle's A/C didn't work and they couldn't fix it for days. Promising to cover my additional travel expenses, I flew home and waited for the car to be delivered. When it was finally delivered, it had the following problems that were not disclosed: passenger airbag light on, oil leak, defective wipers, non-functioning driver assist sensors. The worst is that I never received the title for the vehicle so I can't drive it or register it in my state. I have called and emailed multiple times about this. So essentially, I paid $20K+ to this dealership for a car I cannot legally or safely drive. BUYER BEWARE. Maxx sold me a Denali, that broke down day after I brought it home, after a month of attempted fixes Maxx switched it out for a Dodge 2500 which is not safe to drive even after they had it for 4 months attempting to fix our due bill issue.... To validate this I had two shops look over the truck. One being the Dodge dealership; Dodge stated it needs to be fixed/was not fixed correctly. Not to mention Mark clearly stated to me he was driving his kids around for personal uses while Maxx had it in their possession. Currently we are waiting for our trial date in court because they will not fix the truck correctly! read more

Maxx Auto Plus (Tacoma) to my understanding has just gone through a revamp of management and staffing. So I wouldn't heed to the reviews to much from 6+ months. On that note, my experience at Maxx Auto was great. The best I've had in a while from a used car lot. I had Mike, who was very friendly, relatable but also did a lot to help me and my family find the car we needed. He wasn't like other salesmen who try to shove vehicles down your throat and make you walk out the door with something you don't want or can't afford. He was able to take the time to break down what were the realistic options available and what made sense for me and my growing family. Drove cars up literally to us, lined em up so we could compare and contrast the vehicles and come to a decision. His patience and understanding really made the experience here a great one. And was able to drive away with a vehicle feeling great. I would definitely recommend this place if your in the market for a used vehicle. Also do the right thing, ask for Mike, I promise you won't regret it, he made the process so much more easier. read more

Tried to buy a car from them, the guy that helped us was nice. The people that work there were kinda unprofessional, they were arguing so loud about another customer. They also told each other that my husband and I were red flags because apparently they didn't believe how much we made. Kept giving us false hope that we can bring the car home but "we need this" "we need that" "we're gonna call this guy" "we're gonna call that guy" yet nothing was done. The dealership itself gave me bad vibes, like something is going to be wrong with the car, so I convinced my husband & told them that we're pulling out of the deal, good thing i looked at their reviews after we got home. I Also won't take response to unprofessionalism In the dealership. The vehicle we wanted was beautiful itself but could use a good scrub down. DO NOT PURCHASE VEHICLE FROM MAXX AUTO PLUS! Two days ago I was pressured into a car loan of $39,000 only to get home to see the car is leaking fluid. Plus the heat doesn't work. Even worse than all that, Prescott lied to the lender without my knowledge in order to get my loan approved. Apparently the other lawsuits against them weren't enough for them to think twice before committing fraud. Of course, they refuse to cancel this fraudulent car deal. I'm taking this to the higher level but it is important to share so hopefully others don't go through the terrible experience I am (and many other have). STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!* (s/b zero stars) Bought a car from the Parkland lot on 9/3. (Have only made one loan payment!) Have IN WRITING- work that is to be done. On 9/8- I sent a text directly to the sales guy asking for an update on getting my car in. "Waiting on shop." "I'll know by tomorrow." Being patient- I heard NOTHING! Days passed, so I drove to them- sales guy "not available." While it does seem they sell a decent product, my issue stems from how they treat the people that work for them. The person I was helped by was later fired, when I reached out it seems it was in favor of having family that doesnt know the job take over the role. HR had their family member fill the role, HR, imagine the person you go to when you have troubles is willing to replace you with family, yuck. I verified this by open and honestly asking the technicians that are employed by them and by witnessing the training off the replacement and her later transfer to the location where se is now. I honestly hate companies like this, they are whats wrong with millennials and America these days. Selfish people like this means they wont be taking care of you the customer in the end they definitely dont have that type of sensitivity since the person they let go has 3 kids and was a single income mother. Ok, nobody should patronize companies that dont value the promise you make as an emoloyer. In the US you cant make a company hire proper candidates but in EU hiring the person they did for the job is illegal because it puts others at risk. Just know if people continue this way we will lose this freedom in the name of regulation of conpanies like this. Grow up whoever is running this company, its time to put your adult clothes on and stop dressing like you are in a 90s Mtv rap video.
