There isn't even a street address on the side of the truck, so you can't pin them down. You just wait for them to pop up like those inflatable tube guys at a car dealer. We were lucky that the office building next door invited the CC:BBQ truck to set up in their parking lot. It was just a short walk over for us and you can smell the smoky goodness on the way over. A mob of us descended on the truck at lunchtime and ordered just about everything on the menu. But by the time I got to the front, they ran out of the Crafty Reuben. I settled for the Dirty Pig, which turned out to be a good choice. The Carolina Pulled Pork was perfectly tender and moist with a slight vinegary taste and was even better topped with bacon, soft fried egg and cheese. The club roll was really fresh and soft, making it a really tasty sandwich. I wasn't too hungry, otherwise I would have gotten the seasoned Waffle Fries also, but I did try some from my work buddy. If Crafty keeps showing up, I'm going to keep trying out the other menu items. Next time: KC Rib Tips and hopefully get my Reuben! Stay tuned.

Even though I haven't been here that many times, there are so many options that I genuinely can never decide what I want. I'm always asking what they recommend and end up trying something completely different every time...which honestly just says how good everything is. The drinks here are so good, like actually so good, and the vibe is immaculate every single time. It's one of those places where you can go with anyone and everyone will find something they want, which I love. The whole setup just makes it such a fun experience, not just grabbing food but actually enjoying being there. AND the biggest thing for me... I have never left disappointed. Not once. The food is consistently good, the energy is always there, and it's just an overall solid spot. I'll 100% keep coming back and will always recommend this place.

I Also noticed she brought bread to the one table and just ignored the rest. Food was very confusing. The seafood chowder was decent, the rest was just terrible. My meal consisted of three fried pieces of eggplant and about 1/2 pound of salad mix thrown on the top.. There is no ambiance. This is basically a french dive bar with a patio. Inside is old, dated, and esthetically bland. The aged outdoor chairs are basically gargoyle warning of the dread that lies within. This place is why I love restaurant week. I would not pay full price for a meal here.. Travelers beware..

When we first walked into the restaurant, it struck me more like a bar with tables as it didn't have some of the French influences that I'm used to in the past at other restaurants. We were the only two patrons inside the restaurant granted it was 3:30 on a Sunday. The waiters were very warm, welcoming and pleasant. Both my Guest and I ordered the French onion soup to start. The soup was slightly above warm but not hot considering there was a chill in the area I thought this would be the remedy to regulate our temperatures. Immediately after our soup was taken away we receive our meals, no time wasted. My Croque Monsieur was okay, the taste of the ham and cheese was reasonable, but the bread used was kind of tough and challenging to bite, to separate a bite size amount, I was moved to using a fork and a serrated knife and that made it a little easier. We both had a little bit higher expectations for a French restaurant that met some of our needs, but not all. JTL

Fantastic light fluffy interior with a beautiful crisp exterior, the perfect salting and a beer cheese that wraps around every bite. Sweet Chili Boneless Wings (5/5) Beautiful sweet with slight spicy flavor and giant chicken pieces! Sweet potato fries (5/5): I mis-ordered and the chef was incredibly kind to swap me for these fries instead of their regular salt and pepper. These fries are crispy and fluffy -- absolutely decadent! Beers & Cocktails (5/5): Such a wide variety of drinks! There are several beer types (I'm partial to their very tasty hazy, but their award winning sours are fantastic too). The watermelon mint cocktail with their house vodka is a must-try! Service (5/5): You order at the bars for food and drink (food is separate) but the servers clearing empty glasses are efficient and the food came out quick despite being told the kitchen was backed up. TL;DR: Absolutely will return to try more and enjoy the good vibes, eats, and drinks.

Much better in person than our last delivery experience…read more I came here on a very hot day in mid May with my parents and GF. They have a fair amount of things my very picky mother was interested in which earned them our patronage on this particular evening. They had indoor and outdoor seating with an upstairs and a downstairs. We were seated downstairs. Service was great. Didn't have to wait long for anything. They have a vegetarian section of the menu which I appreciated. I was intrigued by the spaghetti squash and almost went with that but it's hard for me to go to an Italian restaurant and not order pasta so I ultimately went with the reginette ortolana, got some giggles from the crowd with my attempt at pronunciation of that dish. I also ordered the brussels sprouts side. They have multiple cocktails I was interested in but being the basic bitch that I am, I ultimately went with the spicy italian margarita. I order the "spicy margarita" frequently and it usually isn't very spicy but this one was the exception. It definitely earned the title. Nothing crazy, but certainly something you would notice and it was very enjoyable. The pasta was very good. I was bummed out to see the mushrooms in there because that was not mentioned on the menu but fortunately I had a few mushroom vacuums sitting at the table. The veggies were plentiful, the sauce was very good. I am looking forward to leftovers for lunch today. Everyone else seemed to enjoy their meal. They also provide bread with hummus to start and the fucking table bread is a lost art, as I always say, so extra points for that. For dessert, they had a PB&J cocktail with pb whiskey and chambord and this was literally orgasmic. What a good idea. I would definitely come back to try some other stuff.

This place really exceeded our expectations in every way…read more My sister and I stopped in on a chilly, overcast afternoon after dropping our mom off at Westchester Airport. Stone Fire was conveniently on the way home and we decided to give it a try. Appropriately, we walked in and the definition of "Hangry" was framed on the wall. We laughed and were greeted by who we presume is the owner. He said he would fix our "hanger" in no time and lead us to our table. The place wasn't very full, since we were there between the dinner and lunch rushes. The owner was incredibly attentive but didn't hover. We got the sense that he was proud of his menu and he explained some of the stand out items. He noted that all the pasta was made in house and that the "panuozzo" (which we intend to try next time) was made with their pizza dough. We both ordered the Shrimp Bisque to start. It was delicious and piping hot with a good amount of actual pieces of shrimp. I turned to ask for some black pepper, and realized the owner already had a large pepper mill in his hand, as if he had read our minds. Our server also brought out warm bread. Naturally, my sister ordered the Maccheroni Ala Vodka since the owner had mentioned the fresh pasta. It was cooked to a perfect al dente and was generously portioned. I decided to get their "Amalfi" stone fire pizza which included fior di latte cheese, prosciutto, summer squash, and delightful little piped dollops of lemon ricotta. The flavors were bright and delicous. The pizza dough itself was crispy, chewy, and lightly charred from the pizza oven. I would absolutely order it again if I wasn't eager to try so many other items on the menu. My sister and I both had enough leftover from our main meals to take them home for dinner. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and contemporary. Nicer than your typical pizza place. They have a sizeable patio and what looked like windows that open up like panels in the inside dining area, I guess when the weather permits it. We both agreed it would be nice to come back on a warmer day. All in all, we have absolutely no complaints about our meal. For two large bowls of shrimp bisque, the pasta dish, and my pizza (a little larger than a personal pan pizza size), and two sparkling waters, our lunch was around $100. Super reasonable in my opinion. Given the excellent food and superb service from both the owner and our waiter. We absolutely plan to come back when we are in the area. I guess our "hanger" was a blessing in disguise that day.
