Delicious authentic Dominican food with great service. It's been a long time since I've been here, they totally remodeled the inside and it looks fantastic. Their food is so tasty, and they have all the authentic Dominican favorites (my mom is Dominican and she loves coming here). They also have great fast service! Would recommend if you're looking for good food in the area.

The best Mofongo I've had in long time. The mofongo was filled with chicharron inside and it was well seasoned. The shrimp were cooked perfectly and that white creamy sauce was incredible.

Mee sooo hungweeee. Me wants some Slurpiness Best Chivo in town Slurp. My go to place for Chivoness Mofoongo Slurp and Churrasco Slurpiness. So full of flavors not like the place we ate a couple days ago in RPB. Aaaaaahhh. Mmmm Tamales Slurpinesss. Oh my ... Great foods. I suggest doing the point and take out. Not much of a wait. Ordering in may have you waiting but they're friendly here and you will enjoy your meal. Mind you the music is fun and if you like great food and dancing while you eat then you will enjoy. Parking is first come etc so prepare, this place is kind of a hidden gem like most good places to eat are...

Started off with the empanadas and calamari. Both were good but watch out for the verde sauce they serve with the empanadas. It has a kick. We each ordered a different item from the menu. Pollo ala Milanese, Cangrejo ala Criolla and Mofongo Lechon. All were good. I think the pork was the best. I would return again and try a different item from the menu.

Here you can- Grab "Fonda" style lunch & dinner platters to go or sit in the diner room and order Criolla/ Dominican food or drinks, listen to live music, with family, friends or solo. My ratings are based on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, where 1 is tragic and 5 is Ouwwww terrific! Overall rating- 4.5 stars Food taste- 5 star Ouwwww I had the Salmon, camarones w. Tostones and ensalda de pulpo. It came with rice and beans. Food portions- 5 generous Drinks- 4 stars Customer service- 4 stars good but distracted. Bang for your buck- 4.5 stars Decor- 4 stars, nice clean with some modern Latino touches. Ambiance- 4.5 inclusive, expect neighbouring tables to interact with yours, relax family friendly fun on Sundays.

I was a little skeptical In trying the food do to some reviews but I guess we can't all be pleased. Tried their mofongo with garlic shrimp and I must say it was amazing their rice and beans taste like home will definitely come again and recommend to anyone. Must be a little patient because there is a wait but worth it!!

Back when they used to focus only on their food. Last visit, my Cuban sandwich was absolutely gross, the bread was rock hard, the pernil was super dry, and the cheese wasn't even melted. I let that one slide and chalked it up to the kitchen having a bad day. However, yesterday was even more horrendous experience. I've been Puerto Rican my entire life lol. Almost 50 years of existence. I have never in my life encountered a more soggy greasy and squishy Chicharron as I did yesterday. It was an absolute abomination. A disgrace to all of Latin heritage. The little bits of meat were rock hard and burnt to a crisp. What's supposed to be crispy skin, was completely soggy and soft. As if it had never been cooked at all. I have no idea how you could get the meat burnt to a crisp and the skin completely soggy on pork belly. I'm completely appalled the fact that it was even given to me. Whoever was in the kitchen should have known better than to serve that slop. It's an embarrassment to the establishment to even have put that into the window to be given to a customer. There's absolutely no way the person in the kitchen knows what they're doing with Latin food if that was served. It deeply saddened me to say I'll never go back to this place again. Not even for a beer. Seeing as how the prices have skyrocketed and the food quality has gone into the toilet I'll pass. Thank you.(pictures taken before the Chicharron was given to the dogs as a snack, because even bad food doesn't go to waste in my house)

I spoke with manager and she had told him it was a mistake, however she was adamant with me that we had ordered the additional food! It's dangerous when a company has unethical and shady employees, and this can harm the reputation of their business! Double check your bill if you patronize this restaurant. Let me start my review by saying the food was really good and worthy of a 5 star rating on its own…read more BUT...my experience with this resturant is a classic example of how service can just take away from the food quality. My work colleagues and I were greeted by a friendly host and sat at a table. But everything from service went down hill from there when our actual table server arrived. We were immediately greeted with "You ready", with a frowned face. We asked for water with lemon (never received) and was later served water from a pitcher (without lemons) only later to see an adjacent table served water from a picture with lemon and orange slices. Didn't make much of that. But when our waiter returned to take our order the second time, again with the same "you ready" frown faced I asked for help with the menu. I could hear her sigh so loud I wanted not to believe the feeling that we were bothering her in some way; and there was maybe only a quarter of the tables with customers. After placing our orders I asked my colleagues if they were getting the same vibe as I was from her and they both felt the same way. From my seating angle I could see this young lady server when she approached the front bar/seating area of the restaurant; which appeared to be where the other waiters all gathered when waiting. But I noticed her smiling and engaging in friendly conversation with two customers sitting at the bar. I noticed this difference from how she treated us vs these other guest throughout the entire time. With them she was smiling, engaging and not in any flirtatious way, but seemingly just being nice....being a good waiter. Clearly she was choosing NOT to be nice to us, and this bothered me internally because I did not know why. Our friendly greeter from when we arrived was seen serving another table and whose behavior was consistently friendly with everyone. So why the difference with our waiter I kept asking myself. I still gave a generous tip despite this service. It was important to me to do so, but I probably won't be back here, and this would have been a nice place to go back to with mi amor.

FoodTok FL is a food truck…read morebringing a bold and creative fusion of Dominican and Japanese flavors, and trust me--it's not your average sushi spot. The term "aplatanao" is Dominican slang for being deeply connected to Dominican culture, and that's exactly what this sushi is: a Dominicanized take on Japanese sushi, packed with flavor and personality. Forget raw fish and delicate flavors--this sushi is all about big, bold, and cooked ingredients that blend the best of both worlds. Some of the signature Dominican touches include: - Sweet plantains (maduros) for a little natural sweetness - Fried cheese, because, well, cheese makes everything better - Salami, adding that smoky, savory Dominican touch - Guacamole, swapping out wasabi for a creamy, flavorful kick - Churrasco (grilled steak), giving sushi a hearty twist - Chicken (fried chicken), for those rolls that love white meat Wrapped up in sushi rice and nori, then topped with house-made sauces, the result is a delicious mix of sweet, savory, crispy, and creamy flavors in every bite. A Must-Try: The Villa Juana | Domi Roll One of their standout rolls is the Villa Juana Roll, named after a well-known Dominican neighborhood. It's got fried cheese, sweet plantains, Dominican salami, and a drizzle of their special sauce, making it a perfect example of this fusion style. Every bite is an explosion of flavors that'll have you questioning why sushi didn't always taste like this! If that doesn't appeal you, then just go for their traditional rolls in the box, such as Spicy Tuna, Kalifornia, Salmon roll, JB roll, etc. Service it's amazing and both the chef and the sous chef are great hosts.
