A work friend recommended we try. I ordered the lengua taco. It was good. The onion and cilantro seemed sparse. And at $3.75, a little on the small side. The place seemed to have a steady lunch crowd when we were there. Will have to come back and do a deeper dive.

Their new item, Quesa Birria, arrived in three pieces. Because of the excess cheese, the tortillas have a wonderful crispy edge. The delicate and flavorful pulled meat is lovely. The freshly chopped onions and cilantro on the side added a nice touch of flavor and color. The dish came with a cup of dipping sauce; it is quite crimson in color and has an oily surface, but it tastes really good and is slightly savory with a lovely kick of spice.

This is one of the best tasting authentic tacos in the Chicago area. They have a few locations, but this is the one we go to the most. The tacos are legit, meat is seasoned and cooked to perfection. You really can't go wrong here. If you're into authentic tacos, you should try Las Asadas.

Anytime I can get authentic Mexican food cooked and served by Spanish speaking people I'm happy. This place is in a strip mall so you might miss it if you don't look. The lunch special is $3 tacos that's with tax how can you go wrong? I've had their steak tacos but it's the al pastor that I keep coming back for. Al pastor is pork marinated with pineapple. Be warned it's spicy.

Was so looking forward to getting a burrito from this place since i was working in the area and haven't had this place in a while. I was shocked to see the lady making my burrito measure out a small of steak! This was the smallest burrito for $13.03 to be exact i had. It had no flavor at all. This used to be one of the best steak tacos/burritos I've ever had till this occcasion. To make a story short, i get that prices are up everywhere and increase is needed. But when you start taking out the quantity and quality NOT GOOD! Won't go back. Hope they get back to how they use to be.

Try the new quesa-birria, this place is fantastic. Highly recommend if you're looking for some good Mexican food!!

The tacos al pastor were really good. I asked for no onions and they had zero onions. Other places tend to cook the meat with onions and luckily they don't here. That's rare. Also he was so nice to tell me the guacamole had onions in it. But it didn't have much actually. The chips were good too. They are very strict with the masks and social distancing. That's nice. Anyways highly recommend. My pics are from take out, that's why they are not good quality LOL

Tried their quesobirria last and it is by far the best I've had.

Las Asadas lives up to the hype. The steak tacos are rather good and the staff members are very nice. Recommended.

If you are looking for a good ol Mexican place, this is the place for you! They do take reservations and are pretty sizable. We went on Saturday night which was a bit crazy. It was very crowded and we were concerned about the service. While the service was a little bit on the slower side and we were there for almost 90 minutes, all the food came out hot and delicious. I got the Enchiladas in Mole Sauce which was excellent. It also came with a soup or salad which was a nice surprise. I went with the black bean soup which was great! If there was any downside, my House Margarita tasted a little weird. I probably could have complained, but I kept with it. Pretty good size, but I think there was a little too much tequila in it! Either way, this place isn't inexpensive, but you do get quite a bit of food and everybody at my table enjoyed their meal. Sometimes thats enough! This is a great icon in this part of Chicago/Rosemont.

Maria's has gone downhill!…read more Very disappointed with Maria's today. I'm never going back after what happened today. First of all, there's nothing vegan on the menu. So when I usually order veggie tacos or they're called vegetariano I used to have a good time with them. This time, I ordered the vegetariano tacos and I said no cheese and I also ordered the black bean soup. The black bean soup came with a whole bunch of grated cheese on top of it. She dumped it on the table and left. She just walked away. In my mind, the waitress was telling me to uck off. I could be wrong. Instead of waiting for her to come back and sending the soup back, I scooped up all the grated cheese and threw it on the plate next to me and ate the black bean soup. When the veggie tacos came, there was no salsa. So I waited for the waitress to come back, and I said, I want some green and red salsa, and she brought me two bottles of hot sauce and left. So my sister asked the busboy in spanish, "green and red salsa" and he said, okay, I'll get it for you. He didn't, the waitress came back, and we told her I wanted green and red salsa, and she told me the green salsa was very hot. I told her to take back the veggie tacos cause they're cold already, and I can't eat them. Wth all this back-and-forth, I'm now in front of naf knaf grill, and I'm gonna get some falafel there. What a waste of time I'm never going back to marias, again, never, never never never! I think the waitress did not speak English that well too bad. So sad, i'm never going there again and I eat veggie tacos several times a week, and many other places which are better than maria's. If you're thinking about going there, forget it, there's much better places out there in this world that are vegan friendly.

So, I stopped in during the week, just after lunch time and found this little hole-in-the wall of a restaurant conveniently nestled in a shopping center next to the local Walmart. Even though I walked in and the restaurant was completely empty, the pure vibrancy of the decor and the cheerfulness of the staff encouraged me to stay. Not to mention that the aroma making its way out from the kitchen was absolutely mouth-watering. I took a seat at the bar while I perused the menu and was delighted in the simplicity of it. You know the food is about to be fire when the menu is simple and a restaurant focuses on what it does well. In addition to the excellent service, the food was absolutely phenomenal. I started off with some chips and salsa.... which was delightfully flavorful and perfectly crisp. Then, I had a bowl of the tortilla soup. Each spoonful was like deja vu. Each bite made me feel like I was in my grandmother's kitchen as a little girl all over again. The broth was perfectly seasoned and each bite came with a chunk of chicken and an assortment of veggies... truly perfecto! Once I was done with the appetizers, I made my decision to try two tacos from the menu. The first was a salmon taco--and it didn't TASTE FISHY. It was grilled to perfection and then paired with an unexpected yet delicious topping of crispy potato strings and chipotle aioli. I ate every bite of this. It was the perfect combination of crunch and flavor, I just couldn't get enough. Then I also ordered the carne asada a cabron taco. Simple, yet dynamically flavorful. I was so full at this point but took this one home to eat at a later time. Still as amazing as the day I ordered it i'm sure. While I neglected to have any desserts or margaritas here, I was assured that they are just as remarkable as anything else. I had a wonderful meal, excellent service and I greatly look forward to going back if i'm ever in the area again for work. 10/10 Highly recommend!!

Its a restaurant space that has tried to survive in various incarnations and I hope this one will stick... the food was decent but not stellar and IMHO a tad overpriced but what isn't nowadays? Nothing something I would rave about but I only had one dish and I'm not a major fan of Mexican cuisine so take that into consideration.

I ordered the flautas. They were exactly what you want flautas to be: present, edible, and not causing any problems. The vegetarian tacos with avocado, however, were the sleeper hit of the evening and probably deserved more attention than they got. But let's talk about Abby. Abby was funny, fast, attentive, and somehow managed to appear at our table exactly when we needed something. More importantly, she made margaritas that tasted like they had been blessed by a tequila wizard. I'm convinced she put extra love in mine. Either that or she saw I was from out of town and decided I needed professional assistance. At one point I started wondering whether Abby actually works for Lady Dahlia or if she just travels the country improving restaurant experiences one table at a time. The food was solid. The atmosphere was great. Abby was a five-star experience trapped inside a four-star review. If every restaurant had an Abby, Yelp would go out of business because nobody would have anything to complain about.
