    Poblano margarita

Haven't been to a Las Delicias in a while. Staff was attentive and friendly. Drinks and food are served quickly. The Combo 5 had a chile relleno (I prefer soft to crispy, so I appreciate the option), a beef burrito, and a cheese enchilada. The relleno and burrito are smothered in green chile. The seasoned ground beef had a good flavor, as did the rest of the platter, but there wasn't as much spice as I remember--perhaps a need to tone down the Scoville scale ingredients because of the neighborhood. The Esmeralda Margarita was refreshing with fresh cucumber and muddled cilantro. The Poblano Margarita is not spicy at all but the mezcal can punch you if you don't stir your drink. There are multiple rooms for diners which makes it a bit more intimate than a large, open restaurant.

I came to the Glendale location just before closing time of 9pm on Saturday. Wow! A really large menu along with a large drinks menu. I was served by Marbella G. She gave me time to make my choices. I got a complimentary basket of tortilla chips with a good chunky salsa. I chose combination #7 which is a chicken enchilada, guacamole tostada, beef taco and a chili relleno (I got soft instead of crispy). I added an order of chicharrones. Lots of food. My drink was a Sangria with red wine and mango juice. Of course, I ate everything. They do not add a service charge.

I tend to go to this place a lot for lunch and happy hour. It is located close to my work and has a great staff, tasty food and cold margs. I haven't had anything bad here. I keep gravitating to the #18 taco plate. Crunchy taco shells, well seasoned ground beef and tons of cheese. I add the fresh salsa on the table to my tacos and they are amazing. The staff have been the same people since I started going there about 8 ish years ago. Everyone seems to enjoy their job and happy to serve you. Love this place!

Excellent service, very quick and attentive - they have you in-and-out of the door. Unfortunately, the food is very obviously re-heated, dry and completely absent of flavor. The salsa is watery, not spicy, and the margs are very, very weak. Good thing it's cheap. I'm pretty puzzled about how they say they're "authentic", who actually thinks that? It's generic, boilerplate. I'm also puzzled how there are actually a good amount of people in there. Seems like a lot of regulars, I just don't get it.

This had been my go-to for 40 years. The food quality has been up and down, it's mostly up now. The margs are skimpy with too much ice.

From the customer service and environment to the food and whiskey selection, I'm always impressed at how high quality of a long standing institution this is in Denver. On my most recent trip, a bar fight broke out, but our waiter James handled this with ease... even though he got punched in the face. We tipped him well. Food is always fantastic. Get the prime rib alongside a draft beer. We also ordered Tacos and Loaded Potato Skins as appetizers. I'd love to sit at the bar next time to dig into their whiskey selection!

I have been coming here since I was a kid and back then the place was packed with orange T-shirts and full of smoke. Fans would wield Bloody Mary's and cheer on the Broncos with Craig Morton at the helm. Now it is more refined and smoke free, but still a great place to enjoy sports. The classic Eggs Benedict has always been my favorite and what I get just about every time. You can't go wrong! In my younger days I would toss back a couple bloody Mary's but times change and now I mostly get Corvus Cold Brew, both drinks are solid choices. If you haven't been here you need to visit. But this was Monday evening and we were seated immediately. Our server said that we had 5 minutes left for Happy Hours--thank you!!--so ordered Caliente Margaritas and appetizers. The nachos were delicious--and messy! The Margaritas were as well. I had a nonalcoholic Athletic Brewing Company Cerveza Atletica (Mexican style copper). There were several other NA cocktails and beers available as well. We were all very pleased with our entrees. They were all luscious. Two of us are vegetarian and there were plenty of choices. I had Crispy Avocado Tacos, which came with black beans, and a side of Street Corn--both great choices. My friend had quesadillas and Potato Flautas , which I tasted and almost wish I had ordered as well. Our carnivore gentleman partners were also very happy, with one of them choosing a sampler, "Perdida's 'Best Of' Plate." Perdida is a great new addition to the Wash Park area.

We had arrived just in time for Happy Hour- Monday-Friday, 3-5pm . Perdida has a worthwhile Happy Hour as several main menu appetizers as well as cocktails are discounted. I selected the classic marg to sip on. It was a good, standard margarita for $6. We also had to try the mini chile rellenos. These were tasty and the dipping sauce paired well with the chilies and cheese. Perdida was good. I think I'll revisit to try some main dishes. The fajitas smelled amazing!

That should have given me a clue as to the heat temperature! I couldn't finish my meal as it was too spicy for me. I know I don't tolerate heat very well, so just offering this as a warning to others that might be in the same boat. Luckily they offered sopapillas and honey for dessert. The sweetness of the honey helped to soothe the sting. This location is in a strip mall and they have done a very nice job of decorating it. It looks clean and well maintained. You will need to order at the counter and then they will bring your meal out to your table. It seems to make sense that you would offer meals for all people, even ones like me that cannot manage the spice. I have to give them a lower rating only due to the fact that I know I won't be able to go back since they don't have a non-spicy option for their meals.
