I had the Huevos Rancheros with red chile sauce and my nephew had the smothered Chorizo burrito with red sauce too. Estupendoso! Then they had the nerve to bring out free sopapollas towards the end of the meal. Has heaven been reached already! Delicious.

Loved this spot!!! The best breakfast, burritos served ALL DAY. They even have margs if that's your vibe. Staff was sweet, we got a booth by the window which was just perfect. Tried my chile on the side so I could really taste them each & they're both great (but I liked the green better!) The burritos can come smothered. Def consider this for your next brunch spot

Little Anita's is a no-frills, Southwestern Mexican restaurant with good food and outstanding customer service. The restaurant began in Albuquerque, and this is their lone Denver location. There is plenty of on-site parking and comfortable indoor seating, and they provide both dine-in and take-out service. Little Anita's survived COVID because they were pliable and had elite customer service. Pricing is VERY reasonable. My Way Better Half loved her chicken fajita and said it is consistently a great selection. Served with refried beans, pico de Gallo, guacamole, sour cream, salsa, and three homemade flour tortillas. I enjoyed my Carne Asada Burrito de Mexico, a considerable portion with Spanish rice and beans, and I had them add Green Chile, which made it terrific. The service is kind, but it is also impeccable and genuine.

I grew up in New Mexico but have lived in Seattle for most of my adult life. Every time I visit my parents it is obligatory to eat as much New Mexican food as possible. So when I took a trip to Denver and ended up staying close to this place I knew I had to check it out I ordered the huevos rancheros, eggs over medium, half and half red and green sauce. (I didn't check to see if they'd undertand if I ordered it "Christmas style.") It's pretty legit! The red chili is spiced pretty differently than is typical in New Mexico, but it was good all the same. And the green chili is spot on. The refried beans were great, too, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. The papas were also good, and made a great base for the remaining sauce. My only (very minor) complaint is that the flour tortilla is pretty small and chewy, not the nice big and fluffy ones you'd get most places in Albuquerque. But this is still way better than anything I can get in Seattle, so I'm still super happy with it.

Legit New Mexican food, hearty and reasonably priced. Loved my smothered green chile breakfast burrito and the sopapillas with honey. I lived in Northern New Mexico for a while and this transported my tastebuds back in time. In response to a few reviews, this is not Mexican food. This is New Mexican food. For the same reason, the green chile here is different than what is often served in Colorado: it's New Mexico style. To enjoy it, respect that it's doing its own thing. If you're hankering for a taste of Santa Fe, this is a good spot.

I love the fresh ingredients and the spiciness of the food. The food is very consistent time after time.

It's also very unassuming. It looks like a very small restaurant on the outside but once you are inside, you'll be shocked to see its good size dining area. This place is all about happiness. I mean seriously!! They care about their customers that get satisfied with their service and meals. And it does draw a very diverse crowd from the Hispanics to Caucasians to Asians, I mean you name it. They also get a lot of to-go orders. Some people came in, grabbed their food and went on their way for the night. My friend got the Torta Los Carboncito. This is a massive sandwich with plenty of meat inside. Since the menu has colored picofor almost each item, what caught my attention was the fish dish. There are two of them: one is trout and the other is something else (I forgot) but I got me the non-trout one. The lady asked me if I wanted the flour or corn tortillas so I went with the corn one. As soon as I got home, my late night snacking started. I only took several bites out of that whatever the huge fish. And oh my goodness, it was so delicious! Well-seasoned with very light salt. Although I mainly got it for tomorrow morning/lunch I had a hard time quit eating because of its deliciousness. Extremely welcoming staff (I even met the owner, Alex as he was dining with his family), quality food and value pricing, this place checks out for the hidden gem restaurant that's not necessarily super fancy but it's worth every penny and time. Yelping is so much fun. That is why I cannot quit my foodie-ness! What a nice discovery!

The Aguachile De Erizo was a bit fishy to me - I'm blaming my pallete not the dish, and the Pescadilla De "Marlin" wasn't out of this work imo. It's fun to see the food prepared, and talk to the chefs. We also learned a few tricks to take home. We just came back from Mexico City, so it was fun to see how this place compares. It's definitely truly authentic, it reminded us of being back in Mexico City with fresh ingredients, spices and flavor profile. Aguachile De Erizo: I got this for the uni, it was a nice dish, very light and summery. I can't say I loved it though. I ate the uni first, and then the rest of it almost resembled a nice fruit salad with fish. It's small, so you can eat it in a few bites. Tostada de toro: Everyone gets this, and you should too. A great burst of flavor, with a spicy finish. It's beautifully made, and the fish is amazing. Flautas De Pollo: This fell flat for me, it was too bland and nothing stood out. Pescadilla De "Marlin": This was a really nice, well balanced dish. It was more street food style, and well executed. Costillal De Res: The meat fell off the bone, great flavor and filling if you're hungry. We had a few fun mezcal cocktails and a margarita. I hope they keep changing the menu to keep us coming back.
