I am not a huge seafood fan but Las Islas might have just changed that. With a very seafood heavy menu I was a little hesitant to order so I stuck to mixed Fajitas. My friends ordered a variety of plates to share, we received all of our food at once and feasted. I'll be honest it was a lot of food for 3 people but we took our time, took breaks and enjoyed the ambiance/music in between bites. The service was pleasant, the food was presented beautifully and tasted fresh. My favorite part of my visit was the music. It was such a vibe and the banda playing made rounds around the restaurant. I saw a few reviews that complained about the noise level of the band but I actually enjoyed the loud music. We had a lot of fun and there was a lot of families and kids also enjoying the ambiance. Overall I give Las Islas a 9/10. Side Note / Pro tip: A spicy Michelada from Islas has the potential to cure even the nastiest hangover lol

If you want authentic Mexican mariscos this is the spot for you! The vibe & taste was 10/10! The service was a bit slow even tho there weren't many customers we waited more than 40 minutes for our food. I know sometimes things come up but I would have appreciated some communication from our servers. Will be coming here again tho!

I simply cannot recommend this place enough! They recently expanded their menu, and every dish is crafted with so much flavor (and love, obvi). I've yet to try something I haven't loved. As a bonus, the girls who work here are also amazing. Everyone is great, but a special shout out to Nana, Karlita, and Jackie! A must try if you love seafood, but trust, they also have plenty of non seafood options!

I was almost turned off by the reviews I'd read, but so glad I decided to try this place! I was greeted and taken to my seat right away. My server was the nicest guy. The food was delicious, I ate way more than I should have because I just could t stop eating it. There was no band playing on the night I went, which was a Monday. I would definitely go back and recommend to anyone!

I highly recommend this place. We went with our family, kids are 4 and 8, it was a great family setting. But I can see us going back for Date Night too. The service was quick, helpful and kind. The seafood tasted fresh and amazingly delicious. We tried the empanadas with shrimp, the octopus, the ceviche, oysters with little octopus (púlpitos) and the chicken nuggets for the kids to split. The portions were enough for double or more. My favorite was the octopus, it was so tender and delicious. It came with a really delicious spicy sauce. If you like things medium spicy or less, I recommend asking for the sauce on the side instead of on your octopus. The empanadas were really yummy too, they came with two yummy dips. All the avocado they added to the dishes tasted very fresh. The kids chicken nuggets were elevated too, the fries were fresh like they cut the wedges themselves and added some sort of yummy batter, battered fries. They recommended the fish cut in half and grilled, can't remember its name. I'm going back with my appetite to get that octopus again and to try that fish. I was told they have karaoke on Saturday nights and Banda music on Sundays. Looking for fresh seafood with a fun comfortable atmosphere? Please try Las islas Marías Restaurant in Rohnert Park. I walk in and immediately see only a few people here so not a real popular lunch spot. Looks like they got some new TVs everywhere. Big TV menus as well. The prices here have gone insane. Maybe the new TVs / electricity bill is driving up prices for customers? $4+ for a street taco. WOW! Clearly one of the most expensive taquerias in the area. So I get 3 small corn tacos for $16+ the price of an entree at other places? Naw Felicia. Down the street at el Pacifico is like $1.50 street tacos on Tuesday, $5 burritos on Thursday. Still wanting to find some salvation in this place, I stayed and ordered a Birria taco & a beer and it was $15 yikes! Ok so I did it anyway. I wait for the food and see lots of people order larger orders after me get called up to get those food but I'm still waiting. Ask someone and they bring it out to me hot so likely they forgot about me. But how was the food you ask? It was just ok taco, nothing to write home about. Galvans is much better birria taco for the price. Guess I'll be back in a year or two again to see if improvements come.

The place was empty beside us but it was nice and quiet. They have a really nice selection of beers on tap and a good variety of food choices. They have tv's playing sports and it feels like a place where you could hang out for hours. On this visit, I tried the "Dream of Jupiter" red ale. It wasn't my favorite. A little too hoppy for my taste, but still a good drink to have with food. For food, we ordered the BBQ Nachos with Tri-tip , and some wings. The wings were pretty good with a sweet chili ginger sauce. We also tried their dry-rubbed wings, which were just okay. The nachos had good flavor, but some of the chips got kind of burnt in the broiler. The tri-tip was also a little underwhelming as it was just a bunch of small pieces that didn't have a lot of flavor. Overall, I still liked the flavor of the nachos, but I would get a side of sour cream or something else to go with it. I still really like this place and hope to come back again.

The bartenders were also welcoming. It's worth a stop!

When we entered the restaurant we were warmly greeted. We studies the menu you on the wall before ordering. You order at the counter and then they give you a number to put on your table. When your food is ready, hey deliver it to your table. Both my husband and I ordered the 1/2 rotisserie chicken plate. You have a choice of a salsa verde or romanesco sauce to go with your chicken or pay an extra $1 for both sauces. I chose the both sauces and my husband chose the salsa verde. We also ordered a cup of the cream of asparagus soup, a side of cabbage and kale slaw and a straus creamery chocolate milkshake. The inside is spacious and has a lot of communal seating as well as smaller tables. They have seating on the deck by the water as well. We picked a table and enjoyed our view of the ocean while we waited for our food. Our food arrived hot and fresh. Everything looked so good. The cream of asparagus soup was my favorite of the whole meal. It tasted so good. Next time I'll opt for the bowl instead of the cup. The rotisserie chicken was hot and juicy. I'm guessing they give you the sauce because the chicken doesn't have much seasoning on it. I tried both sauces and didn't care for either one. The salsa verde did not taste good at all. It definitely didn't taste like any salsa verde I've had before. The romanesco sauce had no flavor. It was thick and pasty but tasted like nothing. I should have just added salt to my chicken. I ate the chicken regardless and it was good. It just needed some seasoning on it. Each chicken plate came with salad on the side, which was very good and roasted potatoes. The potatoes were amazing. My husband liked the cabbage and kale slaw and loved his chocolate milkshake. Service was very good here. They bussed our table for us when we were finished. I'd definitely come back again but I would try one of their many sandwich offerings.
