This place is family owned and operated and service was great. We ordered in the restaurant and food was ready approximately 10 minutes after. My friend and I ordered: Quezatacos (5/5): LOVE! For $9.99 you get 4 pretty decent sized tacos and birria broth for dipping. We ate them in the car because we didn't want them to get soggy. The tortilla was fried until perfectly crispy with delicious melted cheese lining the interior. Each taco also had a few hefty pieces of tender beef, onion, and cilantro. Laura S. highly recommended this local spot for lunch so we got food from here today. I called in the order and the lady who answered the phone was so friendly and nice. She said the order would be ready in 10-15 minutes. I got there in about 20 minutes. They are located in a long plaza off of Foothill Blvd and there was plenty of parking. They put away all their tables and chairs so there's space inside to socially distance in case there are multiple people waiting for their order. But I was able to walk in and immediately pick up and pay for my order. They do ask for a $10 minimum for credit card payments, just FYI. The lady was really nice in person too and overall I have a very favourable impression of this place. We got the following: * CALIFORNIA BURRITO -- This was for me. I don't know exactly what goes into this burrito other than asada (or your choice of meat) and fries and guacamole, but it is DELICIOUS. It doesn't have beans (which made me happy bc I hate beans) but I was told you can add beans to this burrito if you want for no extra cost. But why mess with perfection? * CHILE VERDE (PORK) FRIES -- Technically their menu lists Asada Fries, but Laura doesn't eat beef so I asked the lady what she recommends. She recommended Chile Verde Pork and it was really tender and also delicious! * COMBO BURRITO: two flour tortillas, rice, refried beans, cheese, lettuce, tomato, guacamole -- Laura got this with carnitas, extra beans, and no rice. It was huge, covered with red and green sauce, and came with a side of nacho chips. She couldn't finish it in one sitting, it was so much food with the fries too. The quezatacos tacos are so good! The birria has to be one of my favorites from them, went there for a second time and they accidentally got our order wrong. But they actually called us back, gave us the right order and let us keep the order that they accidentally gave us. Loads of flavor, tender meat, and hot off the grill. The consome also comes with the dish. A bit basic, but it's honestly all you need, and it only adds to the flavor. I'm going to try other things on the menu, but I've been here 3 times already, and couldn't stop ordering another birria taco plate. It's just so finger lickin' good. Burrito is small but dense, with a good amount of bacon and potatoes although there is very little egg, maybe 2 are used in this burrito where most places will use 3. Total for this burrito was almost $12, which i believe is a little steep considering the ingredients are pretty simple and its on the smaller side. I saw the birria tacos online and had to visit. There is hand sanitizer at the register, and masks are required. I went during lunch time and for $10 you get four tacos and broth to dip them in. everything was hot and cheesy and delicious. I have no complaints and will be back.
