Steak burrito

Fast friendly service. The line was a little long but the service was so fast there was hardly a wait. Food is fresh and hot. I will be going there often.

The setup is similar to Moe's or Chipotle as far as menu and ordering process. (Similar options like burrito, salads, nachos, etc) We visited on a weekday evening around 7pm and the place was really busy. Staff was friendly and helpful. Food all tasted fresh. All in all we will be back when we visit Hampton again.

Quesadilla??? In what world is this a quesadilla!

When i reflect on my experience at this establishment the only thing that comes to mind is the disaster of a meal i just ate. I ordered the chicken quesadilla and apparently here that means just a cooked cheese tortilla with rice, chicken, and beans thrown on top. In what world does a quesadilla come with all of the fix ins on top of the quesadilla?? on top??? on top?? on top???? In what word does a MEXICAN restraunt not know how to make a quesadilla??? They literally gave me a fork and knife to eat my food with, as a big fan on mexican food i feel that this was just a really sad presentation of the meal which showed the lack of effort put in, needless to say the food itself was arguably worse than the presentation. Next time, if there is a next time, the quesadilla is a no for me!!!

On our way through NH, we both felt like Mexican food. I knew it would be possibly a risk, since true Mexican food is hard to find in new England, but we were hungry enough to give them a try anyway. The restaurant was easy to find, right off a main road, with plenty, convenient parking. Once inside, it looked like a mix between a hip chipotle and a beach café. The options for sauces, dishes, and meats were clearly presented, and it was easy to decide what we wanted. I was really impressed with their veggie options including sweet potatoes, mixed veggies, and sautéed mushrooms. We both opted for a make your own burrito, with chips and guac on the side. I think the first most impressive thing were the sauces. We each tried a few different ones, and they were all good. Next, the guac was super fresh and packed with onions, tomatoes, and other goodies. Lastly, the chips were hot, crunchy, and salty, just the way we like them. Prices were good, service was fast, and quality was high for the type of food. Downsides were the line moves slowly, the burrito makers were grumpy, and the tables in the dining area were dirty and sticky. Overall, a solid option for Mexican-ish dining, and pretty good for new England standards. I would definitely return here to try them again if I were in the area.

Burrito bowls and order counter

This place is great for what it is- a local version of Chipotle. I mean no harm in this comment. It was extremely good food but not a typical sit down Mexican food spot. I didn't read into the reviews prior to deciding on the place so I was a little disappointed that it wasn't a traditional restaurant. We had burrito bowls which were fresher than chipotle but same general concept. There's nothing overly "creative" on the menu. They do offer a few beer options and a canned margarita- all of which I would pass on. In my opinion this is a great quick lunch spot while on break at work or to order to go. Plenty of parking as there is a parking lot out front.

Quesadilla.

Ordered a quesadilla to go. Found out after that they piled the meat and toppings on top of a cheese quesadilla. So, when you get it home it's a soggy mess. They should call it an inside out quesadilla since it's not a quesadilla. Or,at least make you aware that it's served very differently than normal. They also mess up take out every time I've ordered. Too bad cause the food is usually good and fresh. Can never seem to get what I want/order here.

Eating gluten free can be a problem but not here. The food is good quality but options for desserts are a little lacking.

me&my family really enjoy the food here. however, we noticed that the day shift members make the tacos way smaller than the dinner shift.

Excellent place for a good, quick, tasty meal. I love that they make their own tortilla chips.

I must say that Jorge makes some great margaritas that taste very well balanced. I usually try a different one every time and I've never been disappointed. Of course, they bring out complimentary chips and salsa which always hits the spot. Boyfriend likes to get a side of queso and some hot sauce too. I typically end up getting the street tacos here. The plate comes with five tortillas topped with your choice of two proteins and a side of both red and green salsa. It took me a little while to figure out the best combination of meat for the tacos. While the birria tastes solid, it causes the tortillas to fall apart easily, so if you want some of that I'd go for the quesabirria tacos. I was getting the carnitas for a while, but it wasn't always the most consistent as some days it didn't taste as good but other days it tasted fantastic. In my opinion, the go to meat combination for the street tacos is the pollo adobo and the al pastor, as they both have flavorful marinades and the meat itself tastes good as well. While I understand that New Hampshire isn't exactly known for having amazing Mexican food, I've found that this place is solid for the area. Fun atmosphere, nice people and generous portions of food that will fill you up.

I've given 3 stars because they're in the midst of doing so much menu-wise, ingredient wise (my husband asked for pineapple salsa and although there was none that day, there would be once the pineapples were delivered). I do think that the photos will give you a very true idea of the food...So please visit this newest choice in Hampton. Support local! The decor is kitschy. The windowsill next to me was covered in a diorama of a beach scene. However, the best dives are not much different. There aren't any hot sauces other than the two homemade ones that were run of the mill. I wish they had spicier option! I prefer vinegar-based hot sauces, unlike the house options. Next time I'll BYOHS :-) We tried the famous pupusa. It was actually quite good but soaked in oil. At least 75% of the weight of each pupusa was canola. The sauce was ok. We tried the tacos. They were over generous with the meat. The carnitas meat was a bit dry and not marinated enough. Even when doused with sauce it was a chore to eat. The carne asada flavor was excellent but the meat was rubbery, likely precooked and reheated. The churros were fine, especially for the price. I am giving 4 stars instead of 3 because of the overall experience, wonderful hospitality, and reasonable price. I would return and try some other dishes once they complete the outdoor seating area.
