The vibe is very European. The waitstaff is very engaged, friendly and provides excellent service. Appetizer - We had the Citrus Marinated Octopus and Calvados Chicken Liver Pate. Both were simply amazing and full of flavor. Soup - We each ordered the Sweet Corn & Pinon soup. I can't begin to describe how delicious it was. They use wildflowers in the soup which provide a unique flavor. The soup is packed with flavor. Salads -We had the Brussel Sprout salad and the Roasted Baby Beets salad. Both were great but the Roasted Baby Beets was out of this world. The Mexican Lavender dressing, candied pecans, pickled onions and Fennel Goat Cheese danced on our tastebuds. I am looking forward to going back soon to try more of their menu. It's very rare that a restaurant's menu captures my complete attention. Wolf in the Woods menu is full of flavors, unique ingredients and incredible textures. I really want to order one of everything. Go! I promise you will have incredible meal and become obsessed with this restaurant. Planning to go back Saturday, August 29, 2026 with a group of friends. I hope they will agree to share so we can taste a lot of their menu. Prices are very competitive for food of their quality. GO, go, go!

We were walk-ins, so seated at the bar but that was more than fine since we got to see all the actions as the dishes were being prepared. They recommend 4-6 dishes for 2 people. We got 5, and that felt right. We had the eggplant toast, corn soup, Brussels sprouts salad, yellowtail (our favorite) and the mushroom polenta. All delicious in their own way. What a gem of a restaurant!

We received an appetizer for the table from the chef to start off our feast. The Blood Clam aguachiles were amazing and a must order. It is not your typical agauachiles. The clams were chopped up with made it a perfect dish to share for all of us. It was excellent. We moved on to a very delicious salad that was not on the menu but we asked for a house salad that we can all share. It was packed with fresh lettuce, tomatoes, beets and radishes. We moved on to our main course and the ribe eye was seasoned and cooked to perfection, enough to share for about 4 people. We ordered 2 but we could have easily had just 1. The oven roasted Curvina with vegetables as also very tasty. It was not my favorite but when you have rib eye cooked the way it was, we didn't need the fish. We topped off the night with dessert a frambuesa with vanilla ice cream.

For groups larger than 7, they require a prix fixe menu (5 or 7 courses) with the option to add a wine pairing. We went with the 5 course + wine pairing, which included a welcome drink (gin + cucumber based and very refreshing). The pairing was supposed to include four wines, but we only ended up getting one red and one white with refills which was a bit of a bummer. That said, the red ended up being one of my favorites from the entire trip, so partial win there. Food: absolutely delicious. Everything came out family style, beautifully plated, and perfect for sharing with a big group. No complaints on flavor or execution! 4 stars (and not 5): a few frustrating misses for a high end spot. First... they were out of tequila. In Valle. At this restaurant. What? Lol. Second, we were required to select our main entree in advance (choices were rock fish or suckling pig), only to get a call about an hour before our reservation saying neither would be available. The replacements were a fish (I think salmon?) and pork belly. Don't get me wrong both were good but last min menu changes like that shouldn't really happen at this level. All that said, still a great experience overall. I would come back with a smaller group so I can actually order my own meal and avoid the prix fixe surprises.

The private dining menu is served family-style, and every dish was beautifully prepared and absolutely delicious. Our guests thoroughly enjoyed the food, service, and atmosphere. I've always loved Wormwood for brunch and dinner, and after hosting our event there, I can confidently recommend it for larger gatherings and private events as well. Calafia Oysters: Bright and unique, paired with a fermented spicy kosher granita and citrusy absinthe vinaigrette. Local Yellowtail: Balanced beautifully with a coriander avocado mousse, morita sea pearls, and a fermented spicy ginger sauce. Palate Cleansers: Refreshing watermelon mint and strawberry rosemary sorbets. Taleggio Agnolotti: Creamy and pillowy, served with local pea beurre blanc and grilled yakitori Baja shrimp. Hannah operates a gourmet catering service and after receiving comments from customers wishing Hannah had a restaurant, that's exactly what she did. I started going there on a semi regular basis with my daughter, whose hair Hannah loved! I brought friends to Hannah's and soon we were welcomed as family! Here is a person who knows how to cook with herbs and spices! They were able to expand the space for the restaurant and focused on her take of a country's regional food. She also started a family style dinner, also focusing on a different country every month. Covid sure presented a challenge but they adjusted and are still serving Sunday brunch! I went thru a bad period dealing with Parkinson's disease and my daughter would go to Sunday brunch and always came home with lots of wishes of love and support from Hannah and her staff. When I finally was able to go to Hannah's again I was greeted with hugs and so much love from Hannah I was reduced to tears. I am so grateful to have met Hannah and her husband and the staff there. So for me I came for the food and stayed for the friendship. And the food is all so good!! My favorites are the baguette French toast ( get the lemon custard), and the terracotta berry pancakes. I miss the days of red velvet pancakes with chocolate chips and cream cheese frosting. The omelettes are always so fresh tasting and so are the flourless chocolate cookies! Eating here has made me a fan of Gorgonzola cheese and rosemary. I tip my hat to Hannah's Gourmet !!!!

The service was great and our server was amazing. The food itself was good but it was missing something I can't quite put my finger on. They also don't take reservations but luckily a few of our friends arrived earlier to put their name down. I would recommend arriving a bit earlier than you expect just in case!

We are so happy with the experience, and excited to go back again and try more menu items! The entire drink menu has been updated. I'm not a drinker so I was really excited to see several mocktail options. Both that I tried were amazing, but the Ring My Bell was especially delicious and so unique! You have to give it a try! The rest of my party were drinking the regular cocktails and they were all more than thrilled with them! We had multiple appetizers and they were all great. I had the salmon and risotto and it was incredible. The risotto was PERFECT. I also tried the braised beef Bolognese, which was so yummy I ended up eating way too much because I couldn't stop eating it! I almost ordered the lump crab arrabiata gnocchi, but someone else I was with got it and they loved it so much I can't wait to go back and try it! For dessert we had the banana creme brulee. We ordered a few for the table to share. I was a little hesitant because I'm not a huge banana person and I love a traditional creme brulee, but I was actually blown away! We ended up ordering another round for the table because we didn't want to share it anymore lol. I can wholeheartedly suggest this dessert! Plus, the service was amazing! Our server was so great and attentive, and the manager even came over at one point and checked in with us and made us feel so welcome and taken care of! It's so exciting to have a local place like this stepping up their game! Whoever is making these changes is doing things right! If you've never been, you absolutely have to go! And if you've been before, no you haven't! This place has been reborn. You have to go and experience it for yourself! It's so important that we support local establishments when they make amazing changes!

We were the only diners there but it was a Thursday evening, so I suppose that was it. That said, felt lonely. The food...feel sad to say this but meh. We got the 5 course tasting menu. There was no printed menu of the dishes so pardon the simple descriptions; this is all I can remember. The first course was vegetables on a puree of white beans and fennel. EXCELLENT. 2) Fried rabbit on a mayonnaise sauce. OK, putting something fried in mayonnaise without any acid is just too rich on rich. 3) Fish in a puttanesca sauce. Now, I don't like puttanesca, so there's that, BUT my fish wasn't cooked properly. Not seared and rare in the middle, but just undercooked. 4) Chicken in a sauce I can't remember. SUPER juicy and perfectly cooked but the seasoning and sauce...big meh from me. 5) Oy. I really didn't like this one. Lemon verbena flan in a honey-like sauce with fresh cherries. The cherries were lovely but otherwise...sugar on sugar on sugar. Yikes. Don't make this again...ever. Start over. Overall, felt overpriced for the quality of the food. Would skip this one.
