Staff: friendly and responsive Cost: about what I expect…read morefor a technical service and in a high cost / high wage area Service: I brought my phone in due to expanding battery to get a replacement. It had no operational issues at all, the only issue was that the screen had started to separate from the frame and they diagnosed it as a swollen battery. Phone is just shy of 2 years old, so no warranty but also plenty of life left so I opted for the battery replacement. I was told it was easy, no issues, come back in 1-2 hours. When I first picked up my phone, it worked completely fine for ~15 hours. However the next morning the screen just went dark mid-text and there was nothing I could do to get it on. I did manual power cycles etc, no response. I was pretty sure the phone was still on because it would heat & cool like it was processing. I returned and they made it clear if it was just a loose connection it would be free, but if it was another issue there'd be a charge. Turned out to just be a loose connection, no charge, and I picked it up a couple of hours later. Only this time, within 30 minutes of getting my phone back, it had frozen & rebooted 3 times. Fairly light usage - just Google Maps to navigate home during / to avoid traffic. I immediately turned back around and dropped the phone back off - was told it wasn't anything they did but they would try to diagnose it. The next day (Saturday) they never called me with an update and it was getting towards lunch so I called them, since they are closed Sunday and I didn't want to be without my phone for that long. They said they had run a stress test on it with no issue but shared nothing beyond that even when I tried asking for specifics about what the test is, how they knew it didn't reboot, etc. I picked it up, no charge. The phone worked for 5-6 hours and then had reboot issues. It stabilized and worked again for ~5-6 hours then had reboot issues. Throughout Sunday while they were closed, the phone froze and rebooted about every 30 minutes on average. I was so fed up and needed my phone to work and they were unwilling to deal with the issue. I ended up purchasing a new phone, but can't get a refund or even partial refund even though my phone worked fine before they opened it up and now is all but unusable. If this was a significant risk of the process, they should have stated that. I would have bought a new phone ($600) vs replacing the batter ($240). I am incredibly frustrated with everything about this process and won't use them again unless it's the most minor of repairs like cleaning a charging port. I won't let them open up another phone in the future that's for sure.

It wasn't cheap but super fast and great value. Khuong texted me updates and picked up my calls right away every time. He honestly advised that I just buy a new set during drop-off and after diagnostics. He was very collaborative and addressed all of my questions and concerns. Overall, I found this repair shop very friendly, professional, knowledgeable, and last but not least very accommodating, highly recommend!

I went to this place trying to get my computer diagnosed and repaired in July last year. The person…read moretold me very confidently that it was the issue of the fan, and the only thing needed was to replace it. Also, they promised a date when the fan would be available, and I believed it. However, when the day came, they said they would need another few days. Using the computer was very important to me, so I got annoyed and switched to another place. At the new place, I was told the issue with my computer was because of a completely different reason, and they helped me repair it smoothly. Glad that the delay helped me avoid further loss with this unreliable KY electronics. Unfortunately, although the diagnosis result was a complete error. I was not refunded for the diagnosis fee. Edit: The business owner replied saying that my job was on May 29, 2024, which is completely false. I wasn't even at the Bay Area during that time. Either he intentionally mixed me up with someone else or simply made up the story. Apparently, I have no point of making up a negative review if being satisfied as the customer, but the business owner has full motivation to respond to negative reviews by making up stories when he cannot reasonably dispute it, and it seems he has been doing it for many other reviews as well.

Between those two visits, Dario has replaced the laptop's faulty hardware and made fresh installs/reinstalls of the OS and drivers, all while keeping my files safe and backed up each time. His knowledge in gaming laptops makes the service valuable to me, as someone who primarily uses them and is well aware of its caveats for gaming. The way that the service was all seamless like it was nothing is a testament to both the skills and professionalism Dario exhibits. He's also been accommodating with the payments and pickup times, providing solid communication throughout, even offering support over text in case I need help again and the troubleshooting can be done at home with no extra cost. Overall been a solid experience, and I'm glad to have someone nearby that I can count on for these services!

But from the first minutes of meeting Dario, I felt safe and confident that I could trust him. After a quick assessment, he provided a detailed explanation of the issues with my computer. The next day, everything was fixed at a very reasonable price. I called him several times afterward to verify some information, and Dario answered right away each time. I am very satisfied with the service and highly recommend him.
