I had my son's 12th birthday here today. First off I would like to apologize to the party who came after us. Our party lasted a bit longer than anticipated so I think they following party had to wait a bit. It was not intentional. I coordinated the party or was in contact with a man named Shiv. He contacted me the day before to get the headcount and food order. When we arrived, we were shown our room because we were in a hurry to decorate. Shiv was so flexible and understanding with options for the game and the amount of people participating. We had a fairly large group with both 12 years olds and adults and the staff was super patient with us. We did the three laser tag option amongst the group and everyone loved it. The laser tag room was so fun, it is pretty big and is two stories with lots of places to hide with ramps. We didn't wait long for the food either. I had seen a lot of reviews about the pizza not tasting that well but I honestly didn't have time to get a piece but everyone ate it. There was not one piece left. We also ordered wings, they came a bit late but it wasn't an issue. I only noticed one out of order basketball game but for the most part the party utilized every game in the atcad The bathrooms were clean. Our party host was Zohl and she was amazing. She offered to help with decorating and she served the kids their pizza and poured the drinks. She was very sweet and patient as well. Taylor helped facilitate our party once we were in the game room waiting for more vests as well as with clean up after the party. I can't even complain about the customer service because they were packed and still managed to help with parties and with the incoming crowds coming in to play. I would say this place is affordable for parties. I had about 30 people playing the laser tag(adults and kids) had six pizzas total (4 included with the party package) and 8 2 liter drinks (4 included with party package) as well as two dozen chicken wings and I paid 7 something. I was very happy to host my sons party here, it was well worth it. We also received two passes to come back as part of the package. The cashier woman (a young Caucasian female) told us it was good for one year. We live in the east bay so it was an hour drive to get to this place but we would definitely come back with a group. I didn't catch the cashier's name but she was very sweet. She broke down the whole total with me and handled the front area very well with all the chaos going on. I would probably give this place a 4.5. Laser Tagging is located in a very small plaza off of Stevenson that has a Starbucks, urgent care clinic, and jiujitsu business. It's surrounded by a lot of other businesses and restaurants across the way, so it's definitely convenient for something like a party, especially if parents are dropping off. It's pretty hard these days to think of a party that can entertain and enthrall a bunch of 10 year old boys. I had heard about this place from a neighbor and despite finding a couple closer to where we live on the peninsula, I decided to book this place based on the great reviews and the familiarity of my old stomping grounds. Let me just say that I had a group of very loud, rowdy boys, as well as a couple of participating parents, and this place did not disappoint! I booked the earliest party of the day, which in hindsight I probably should have booked maybe the 2nd earliest, just to make sure everything was ready and all the kids had arrived. They first did the laser maze and found that fascinating, then went into their first laser tag game. The kids' excitement was palpable, and lots of shouting ensued. After the first game we had pizza and cake in the room, although I think the boys were too excited by the draw of the arcade and ambience to sit still for long. After that we did our 2nd laser tag game. I inquired from the owner whether I could add a 3rd game for these hyper kids and he assured me it was fine as long as we cleared the room for the next party. Luckily, they had carts to put our stuff on and the kids hung out in the small arcade until the 3rd game started. By the 3rd game I was sweating bullets trying to outscore these little monsters, and they wised up to the strategy much better with each successive game. All the parents who participated had a great time, and despite these boys trying to gang up on us, we put them in their place (lol). Some of the kids even scored a bunch of tickets from the arcade games and were able to redeem them for little prizes. The arcade games take quarters, which is fine, although when your kid wins 500 tickets and the machine has to dispense them all, it seems a little wasteful to have a physical ticketing system vs. a digital one. I also wish the prizes were a little more interesting. Overall, we had a great time, and I thought it was a fantastic experience. The place definitely isn't the newest or most glitzy, but it's clean and the laser tag room is still pretty awesome with 2 levels and a lot of places to hide. All the guns worked fine. My husband indulged in his Laser Quest nostalgia and we got to introduce laser tag to a whole new generation, as I don't think any of my son's friends had done it before. The owner was very nice and kind, and I can tell he's a hardworking and honest individual. By whatever feat of magic, he was able to keep the games going at a very steady pace between the 3 (or 4?) party rooms so that we didn't have to wait for long. What I liked most is that the games per party are private, so that the kids can just have fun with their own buddies. The only negative is that I did have to find the party attendant a few times to ask about timing, as it was a little unknown how long our wait times would be. That made it a little difficult to give the kids arcade money because I didn't want them to start a game and then not be able to finish it, which happened at least once. Also be prepared that because there's a bunch of parties going on, it's pretty loud and crowded in the main area. If you're dropping your kid off at a birthday or not participating in laser tag, do yourself a favor and go to Starbucks and bask in the peace and quiet. Otherwise, be prepared for a workout and a lot of screaming. I'm sore everywhere lol. read more

When WW3 comes upon us and the U.S. drafts a quarter of the population, I know where I WON'T be: on the front lines with a gun in my hand. If the government ever finds out how badly I did at laser tag, I'll be put on non-combatant duty faster than you can say "friendly fire". Then again, in the real armed forces you tend to have equipment that works properly. At Laser Tagging? It's up to luck. Some of the guns seem less sensitive than others. Or maybe it's the vests - some of them don't seem to register hits as well as others. All I know is that I was shooting my friends' light panels and they wouldn't die. But the next round when I got a different vest and gun, I was owning while people were having a harder time hitting me. Still, running through a two-story Star Wars-esque maze blasting your friends in a free-for-all battle royale is all kinds of fun. And for $20 for three 15-minute games, the price is fairly reasonable. Heck, after three games I didn't have the strength to hold up my gun anymore - another reason why I'd quickly perish on a battlefield. There's also a room where you can crawl/jump/backflip your way through a maze of lasers, Mission Impossible-style. Four difficulties to choose from, and for $4 you get two admissions. Fortunately I seem to be way better at this than at shooting people. Which is good, because I hear the salary for a museum thief is pretty competitive these days. read more

At long last, there is a place for me to live out my "How I Met Your Mother" suit-up-and-go-laser-tagging fantasies -- and it's practically in my backyard! Did I actually suit up when I went? No, but I might next time. Did I shoot as many little kids as I could? Yes. Did I show them any mercy? No. This laser tagging arena features two floors with multiple ramps to go up and down. There are plenty of walls to hide behind as you scout the area for your next victim. You have infinite lives and infinite ammo, so you can be as trigger happy as you want. Just don't be that one guy who shoots someone and then follows them around until their vests recharge so you can shoot them again... No one likes a sore winner. If running around an arena while shooting lasers at flashing vests isn't your thing, then maybe you want to take a crack at jumping through lasers to reach objectives in their maze. I haven't tried their maze (and quite frankly, I'm pretty sure I would be terrible at it), but I watched someone go through it, and I have the utmost respect for them. After a big breakfast in the morning, I needed to work myself off a food coma. My bro in law invited me to join him and my nieces for a day of laser tagging. I haven't heard the term or participated in laser tagging since the 90's. When we got here, this place was already very busy. We came here on school holiday hence the large population of children that day. This place runs some pretty good deals here. Buy 15 minutes for around $10 and get the next game at 50% off. The arena is huge. There is two stories of running and hiding room. You or your child might want to take caution running the ramp in the dark arena. I almost tripped running down. It was a fun time here where i could feel like a kid again. Parents, if you want your child to be active, this is a great place to take them. So much fun and worth the money!! 3 games for 15 minutes - $20 Friday night, unlimited for 3 hours - $25! But beware, after 3 games I'm already pooped!! THE ABSOLUTE WORST!! PLACE IS FILTHY AND EMPLOYEES ARE RUDE AND DON'T CARE. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND STAY AWAY. FIND SOMEWHERE ELSE TO GO OR BE MISERABLE! I brought my kids here with a couple of their friends to hang out for the afternoon. I thought this Laser Tagging would be a fun place for them to spend some time. The kids first wanted to play some video games. I gave them $10 each. it seemed that over half of the video games the kids wanted to play were out of order. The place is completely filthy and out of date. The floors are complete gross and sticky. Someone spilled a drink when we arrived. I told an employee about it so no one would slip and get hurt. To my surprise, I walked by 20 minutes later and the spilled drink was still on the floor. I looked over at the employee that I talked to and he was having a conversation and laughing with other employees, not even working. Obviously the employees don't care about their work and neither does the management. My daughter later came to me and said she and her friend put money into a video game and "nothing happen". I checked out the game and it seemed to be out of order. I went to talk to the staff and they refused to give us credit or our money back. In fact, they just didn't say "No", they were rude about it and insinuated that we were just trying to either get free games or take advantage of the business and cheat them out of money. We were going to try to play laser tag, but we had enough after I talked to another parent who said her kids just got done and it wasn't that great and. She said her boys didn't have fun and they'll never return. She added the equipment had problems because and were broken and old. My guess this place will be out of business and closed soon. My friends and I, upon entering the square, wasn't so sure that we went to the right place. Someone pulled up the website on their phone and we decided the signs matched so it should be the right place. From the outside, you can't tell it's a laser tagging place at all! We came here on a weeknight (Monday to be exact) with a group of 11, and it was pretty empty. We got 2 games for $5 each, and each game lasted 15 minutes. Laser tag is always a pretty good workout, and this arena is air-conditioned which is nice! The vests they give have 3 spots to shoot, and the guns show you where you're aiming. Inside, there are 2 floors, although I think most people just stay on the top floor. There aren't any obstacles or places to hide though, so it's really difficult to be sneaky. After the game, they gave us some stats about who each person shot, accuracy, etc. That's pretty cool. I'll probably be back; laser tag is fun and it's not a bad arena. read more

The staff were very friendly and helpful in getting the party set up. Much respect for their willingness to get in and help. The owner/manager kept calm and in control dealing with all the chaos of a birthday party. We were in good hands with over here at Lazer tagging. Sons 10th birthday party, 16 kids, easy setup, but for cost over $500, could of included some free video games, @ $1.00 a game bit steep, but kids were there for laser tag. Even though this was my first time playing any kind of laser tag, I would be very surprised if many other laser tag locations could offer such a well-constructed, two-level facility for the everyday affordable prices here. Location: Laser Tagging Inc. is in the middle of a shopping plaza, so there is plenty of parking to be had. As you walk in, there are a handful of arcade style games (bop the shark, motorcycle racing, air hockey, etc.) and a banquet room to the left, ideal for hosting birthday parties. Straight ahead is the desk where you would pay for the laser tag games, and the doors to the maze are directly behind them. Pricing: As of end of Feb 2018, your first walk in laser tag game is $10 per person, $7 for your second, and $3 for your third....essentially $20 for what they call the "Triple play" deal which appears to go on all day. Various other deals can be found on their website (you just have to mention them when you come in person) so that games can be as little as $5 per play if you come in during the right times! (Such value! Much wow!) If you're planning on coming in on the weekend, $25 for 3 hours of unlimited game play on Friday-Sunday after 6pm is perfect. For the ultra-hardcore laser tag players, there is such a thing as the "All nighter" for $35 every last Friday of the month where you and (a recommended group size of) 5+ other friends can play from midnight until 6am...provided you call in the let the front desk know ahead of time. Can't tell if that's crazy nuts or crazy cool... but there's an option! XD Equipment: After the usual schpeal about fair/safe game play (don't be a cheat and cover your target zones T___T, that's no fun!) you are directed to pick out a vest (think safety vest) that has been lined with light-up target zones on your shoulders, bottom abdominal, and two stripes down your back. There's a carribeenered laser gun on your right (sorry lefties!) that comes in regular black or clear. BEWARE- the clear ones will shine/pulse a briiiigghhhttt blue once your equipment has been activated so if you're trying to go stealth, that is NOT your best choice, LOL! The gun is outfitted with a number and timer to let you know at a glance how much of your 15 minute game is left. The handle is a bit bulky in my small hands and the square-ness of the handle sort of makes you cramp easily, but it's also super easy to forget when you're too busy trying to shoot opponents (or avoid getting shot XD). Your gun as well as your targeted zone are deactivated for maybe 5 seconds after you get "killed" and generally there is a beep as soon as you've recharged and are ready to get back to firing away! The target zones can be programmed to reflect team colors (so you can't accidentally shoot a fellow teammate) or just a generic light during a free-for-all style game. The facility is set up so there are plenty of nooks and crannies for hiding, complete with a bridge and glow-in-the-blacklight paintings of various outer-space-esque details, all complimented with video game-style background music. Scoring: I don't know if it's typical of laser tag venues to provide this, but Laser Tagging Inc. gives everyone a detailed printout of your performance after every 15 minute game, based upon the number on your gun. Everything from your accuracy, # of shots taken, # times hit, which other players hit you, etc..... all on this half sheet of paper. Kinda felt like I was back in grade school, getting my report card, lol! The highest scoring players get their code name and score displayed on the TV monitor as well. All in all, if ever I were able to round up a group of 3+ friends, I think this would be well worth it to return and play! The spacious game play area and set-up of the whole laser tag game really can appeal to anyone.... as little as the 8 year olds having a party here... to my group of "old-ish" friends of late 20s. Organized Fast Service Clean Facility. We came here to celebrate my son's birthday. My first impression was the facility was very clean and and pretty big. It was fairly busy. There were birthday parties in full swing and children playing happily in the arcade area. We checked in and soon enough we prepared ourselves for a battle. The attendant lead our group into the gearing area for vest fitting and instruction. Then the games began. The arena is quite large, two stories, a bridge ramp, balconies and plenty of nooks and crannies. The standard gaming time is about 15 minutes. It seems short but in a dark arena with plenty of spaced to run around in it's pretty long. In fact a surprising workout! When time is up you are given a score card that provides with accuracy, hits taken, shots fired, score, rank etc. Overall, we had a great time. I am officially a "Regular" here. Another birthday party and this time on a Sunday from 12 - 2 p.m.. It was great! Not as busy as the Saturday birthday and it was a lot more organized and didn't seem to be overbooked like last week's Saturday afternoon party. I love this place! I had a terrible experience. The service wasn't good and the staff was very discourteous and ill-mannered. I went with a group of people for laser tagging and went for 3 rounds. When we were in the second round one of my friend's vests wasn't working for the first 5 - 6 minutes. She wasn't able to shoot anyone or do anything, so she went outside to get her vests changed. That also took about 2-3 minutes. She then only had about 5 minutes left to play in the second round which was very unfair. When she came out of the arena she requested a refund but the staff said that she should have come out when the vest stopped working and that she shouldn't have played the rest of the game. He started to fight for the third round and also told us that he doesn't want us playing the 3rd round. I had a very bad experience and I wouldn't want people to recommend this place for the staff has no respect for the customers!! read more

I would rate this place 11/10. DEFINITELY RECOMMEND!! We held my brothers' birthday party here on a Thursday at 3:30pm and it was just the BEST because we had the whole place to ourselves. From booking till the day of the party, everything was just a smooth process. The guy who helped us all through out the party was very accommodating, I think he's the owner or the manager of the place (forgot his name). From a 29 capacity room, he moved us to the biggest room because we were gonna have around 35-40 visitors. Even with the preparations of the party, he helped out with the table cloths and other stuff that we needed. We rearranged the tables in the room so it was more spacious. We originally said the games would start at 3:30pm but we had to wait for one more player so we started the games at 3:45pm. Moving on to the actual laser tagging arena, it was all our first time to play there. We picked the 2 laser games and 1 maze package. The arena had so many hiding spots and it was pretty big that we had so much room to run around and get lost in there. I especially liked the 2nd floor with the bridge. With the laser maze, you get to pick the difficulty and I picked medium lol. It was so much fun! The kids couldn't stop talking about the party. Sydney, who helped book our party was also there during the second half of the party till cleanup. We booked the room for 2 hours but they didn't trip even if we stayed overtime. I think it's because there weren't any people (outside of our party) playing during that time so it was fine. We were a big group and I appreciate how accommodating the staff were with all our craziness, demands, needs and mess. I definitely recommend this place. If you're planning on booking a party, do it on a weekday so the place isn't packed. We'll definitely be back for more games in the future!! :) read more

Late review from October 2017. We hosted our son's 11th birthday party here one Saturday night. Place was bustling but not so much that it was overly crowded that the kids felt like they had to wait in long lines to play in the game room. In fact, I didn't see any of our kids frowning one time we were there. The kids enjoyed the game room in between their laser tag and laser maze sessions. We picked the package for each boy to have 2 laser tag sessions plus the laser maze. We did the pizza and drinks too. We had a reserved room just for our party where the boys could hang out, eat, and leave their belongings in. I especially loved the fact that they allowed us to bring side dishes, snacks, and dessert. I searched around beforehand and found that other laser tag places in the Bay Area frowned upon bringing outside food and we would HAVE to only serve the food they provided. Service was pleasant. I appreciated the prompt response to any calls or questions I had beforehand. I can't remember his name but I'm assuming he's the owner or manager, but he was super friendly whenever I would call and he never made me feel like my questions were bothersome. Another plus was that we never felt rushed to clear out (but maybe that's because we were lucky to be the last party of the night). To sum up, the boys had a blast from beginning to the end. I like this laser tag place more than others because there's two floors and super spacious. However, that does mean that everyone, especially kids, can be running around everywhere, and because it's dark someone can get hurt or bump into someone or something if they're not careful. Also, there's aren't any teams or bases. It's completely free for all so you try to shoot as many people as you can and get the most points. This place also has a laser maze which is pretty fun! There's a easy, medium, and hard difficulty level and you try to get out of there as far as you can without touching any of the lasers. If you touch them, then it adds 30 seconds to your time. Great place overall to host children parties, or even just do laser tag with your friends at any age! At one point, there were just young adults in the laser tag room. Super fun! read more

3:10 p.m. on a school day. I arrived at the Zone Lasertag place in Dublin with my son and three friends, walked into the lobby and there was nobody there. Power to arcade games was off. Boys immediately started pretending to play as I had my first WTF moment and called the number I had called on Friday to inform the front desk we'd be coming today to celebrate his birthday on a Thursday and that they would have pizza. Sure enough, the phone rang there in the empty lobby. 20 minutes later, I finally found a dude in the way back of the laser tag area holding a bucket of fluorescent paint. Oh crap. A short conversation ensued and I learned that the owner had called him this morning telling him to come on down and paint because nobody was coming today. Business is openingly advertised as open 3-9 on Thursdays. I asked for the owner's number and got it, leaving a WTF message as four 4th grade boys stood by with sad faces next to quiet, darkened arcade machines. Ever a mission - oriented mother, I searched for next nearest lasertag place and found THIS place...Laser tagging and immediately called it, 28 minutes away!! I told the guy my situation and he said "come on down." We have a two-story arena." Zing! I got them all back in the car, told them we just upgraded to a two-story arena. Also said, "since you all have to read for 20 minutes tonight as part of your homework, guess what you're all doing as I drive to the next lasertag place?" We arrived and the young man at the front desk was awesome. He charged me the 3 games for $20 special that is standard there when I told him the guys wanted to play Arcade games. We worked out a deal where I spent what I would have spent for four kids playing 3 games which is $80 but instead got two games and the kids used the rest of the money to play in the arcade. He recommended a pizza place to 2 minutes away and we had a wonderful time there afterwards. The boys came out of the games sweaty and talking about how awesome the place was.
