I scheduled an initial consultation via telephone as required. The representative informed me to take pictures of myself and email them to her for the nurse to review and I will get a call back in a few minutes. It's been 2 weeks, still no call. Might has well been a cruel prank or a very creepy one. Now I do not know what they are doing with the pictures or if I am being neglected because I am Black. I've been thinking about laser for sometime now, finally I just got on the phone and decided to make a call to the one nearest me and I am so glad I did. I spoke with Jess over the phone and from hello it was a very welcoming and informative introduction to what the next few months of my laser journey will be like. She explained the process very well and even helped me with my financial options at which I wasn't even sure how much or how I would pay for these sessions. I've had one session on my bikini and under arms and while one is hard to see results I know it's one of the best decisions I've made for myself regarding my body. The process was simple and easy...shave day or go in get zapped (it doesn't hurt and I have a low tolerance for pain, can't even handle my menstrual cycles) and wallah you are done just a few more zaps away from being hair free.... After spending hours on inconvenient forced FaceTimes with sales reps and nurse practitioners, then waiting over two weeks for an appt, I showed up to get my first clear and brilliant facial. The technician begins asking me the exact same questions I'd spent hours answering already. She then refused treatment because you can't have a facial unless you've been out of the sun for two weeks (I was at the beach six days before with a hat on under an umbrella). In all the hours I spent on the phone forced to listen to LaserAways entire family history no one mentioned this caveat. I rescheduled work meetings multiple times for a facial and to FaceTime with their never ending sales team. Ridiculously frustrating and disappointing. read more

I'm sure everyone who works her is highly qualified, but I have had the pleasure of seeing Jane for Botox twice and she is absolutely amazing, I look great thanks to her skills. This is the most unprofessional and unethical service provider I have ever met. I spoke with a "Consultant" back in June who convinced me that I need a service in 3 sessions and 2 applicators each. With the pandemic, they were running crazy good offers and it was very enticing- being that I will only have to pay for 2 sessions and 2 applicators. I have my 3rd session tomorrow, and after I signed up and paid a very HUGE amount for the 3 sessions (paying for 2 and 3rd one free), they call me and tell me I paid only for 2 sessions. I told them that the 3rd session was free and their Consultant assured me that I will be managed. Now they are saying the receipt says 2 sessions only and we will only honor that. Why lie to someone in order to entice them? If you do go to them, make sure you read the receipt 80 times. The "head of North eastern sales" apparently called me and told me you dont have it in writing. God knows who I was speaking to. They will not ask their sales associate who made me sign it despite me begging them to bring her on. She definitely would have backed me up 10000% because I remember her making notes. Apparently the sales associate is now on maternity leave. I said I will wait 6 months for her to be back because we both know what she said, she can clear up everything. I was told no by the "head of North Eastern Sales". NEVER STEPPING IN THIS PLACE AGAIN. I wish I could speak to the sales person/Consultant and ask her why she didn't put it in the receipt and I feel like a fool for believing her over the video. Obviously, lesson learnt and the fact that Laseraway won't back up their own employees, tells me everything I need to know about the kind of Company they are running. Had they brought the person on, and confirmed with her, maybe she could have helped me resolve it, since it is literally her fault here that it got missed on the receipt. The 3 appointments were made in July by her, and now 1 day ago I am getting a call saying it won't be honored. Feeling weird about trusting this service provider with my body. i did a tattoo laser removal session and it honestly looks like the technician went over the tattoo. it looks darker in color. there isnt even the slightest slight indication or of a session. I've removed a tattoo before and even in the first session to notice. this one however was just the complete opposite. waste of money. read more

WORST medical care attention and customer service. I had signed up for a tattoo removal package, went in for my appointment, and received a treatment that left me with a THIRD DEGREE BURN from the cooling machine. When I called the location, customer support line, and medical lines, wrote emails, sent pictures, and tried to reach the company on multiple platforms and they NEGLECTED to contact me back for MONTHS, my experience happened in July and I wasn't contacted until very late September! In the meantime, I went to a dermatologist who prescribed me burn cream, and told me that I will most likely scar and need cosmetic treatments to remove the scarring in the future. WHEN I REPORTED THIS, and finally got through to a higher-up account manager from CA, the man had me on a three-way phone call with a medical liaison at the main company hub and him. At the end of the conversation, the medical professional said that there are obvious medical issues with this treatment aka NEGLECGENCE but the man in accounting at the company charged me for getting burnt and said: "I received a treatment so I must pay for their service." I tried to fight this tooth and nail, and even sent photographic evidence, via email of the extent of the burn.... they then stopped returning my calls and gave me the run around and sent me into collections for $150 dollars, NEVER apologized, and NEVER talked to me with kindness or dignity when they clearly made a medical error, even admitted there was something wrong on their part for how the case was handled with regard to me receiving a call for medical attention. Bottom line, DO NOT GO HERE !!!!! Also, their laser is not even the best on the market as they claim for tattoo removal, so all they do is lie and hide. read more

LaserAway is great! I have done laser hair removal at three different locations around NYC, and this is by far the best experience. They're always on time and treatments are quick and relatively painless with their machine. I also love that all of their technicians are Registered Nurses. Highly recommend! read more

Love this place! I came from midtown manhattan to the Brooklyn Heights location for a xeomin touch up. Maria, Melissa, Kristie are saints for booking me for a very desperate last minute appointment before my vacation. Jenna is an absolute pro registered nurse and would totally recommend anyone to come here and get fabulous with her! Their store is also brand new, incredibly clean and all staff are medically knowledgeable and fun to be around. Wish I lived closer to this location! 10/10 read more

Love this place! I've only been post covid and the staff has always made me feel safe and comfortable. Everyone wears masks and everything is sanitized often. All of the staff is very friendly and helpful. They're all very knowledgeable. I get laser hair removal in 3 areas so it usually takes about 40 minutes but with the cold air they use with the laser I barely feel the laser at all! read more

I walked into this place interested to finally spend money on a procedure. The woman said she would text me info about a virtually consult. She never did. So I called them and ask someone to send me a link. They did and I sent them the requested pictures of my body. The person emailed and said he would call me over the weekend to discuss. He never did. I emailed him back asking if there was another time that would work. I never heard back. So now these people have personal pictures of me and never even bothered to follow up. I've really never had an experience like this and am particularly surprised because I wanted to spend money and and for whatever reasons (maybe my pictures?) I'm giving laser away 1 star because of two reasons. One is I had clear and brilliant. It was represented as a treatment that would take away melasma, wrinkles, reduce pores etc. the cost was about $1800. My hyperpigmentation is completely back due to the sun even with a hat & sunscreen. It does nothing for wrinkles, that's a different laser sub category. And vit c and Hydroquinone supports the treatment. I feel I spent way too much money and frankly skin peels would have been more effective and much less expensive. The spa is cleanish but at times I felt should have been cleaner. Putting down fresh paper on the treatment beds would have been more hygienic and the mirrors, etc should have been cleaned. The staff is very nice but not 1800 dollars worth. I should have done more research. before buying this treatment. I am disappointed. read more

Very bad experience!!! If I could give zero, I would!! I didn't even start it yet....just went for a consultation, even at that moment, felt very awkward!! One of the front desk girl gave me an iPad to fill out forms, and there are a lot pages....After I hand in their iPad, the two front desk girl kinda stated arguing who should be the one take me in the office for consultation, I ended up with Christina. She took me in the back,basically my consultation here is just to find out how much money I am gonna need to give them. She didn't even bother to take a look at my hair like all other laser places do. That was unprofessional!!! I told her I do have another consultation at a different place, she was trying to convince me to do it with them by giving me extra $100 off. I already had bad feelings at the beginning, I also asked some questions, and she didn't even know where I saw it, it's on their iPad. I didn't want to write this bad review after the consultation, but 10 mins ago, she called again, and after I said I didn't decide it yet,and have another place to have a look. She literally just hang up on me!!! I can't believe this is someone calling from a fairly big company!!! I'm so disappointed I went to lazerAway in New York a week ago . I got my initial consultation on the phone I sent my pictures front and side view. I told the represented that I wanted to get my lower tummy done as it was the most concerned area for me ,the representative sent my pictures to a regional nurse and a nurse approve the treatment for my lower tummy .. I said I can't wait for the treatment that was the only reason I was getting it done because of my lower tummy. I arrived at LazerAWay at 1 PM I was greeted by very friendly receptionist then I was sent into the room where the procedure was going to done . The nurse told me she wanted to take a full 360 pictures of my body and then she asked what was the most concerned area . I said my lower tummy , she said I'm sorry I don't think I can be done as it not FAT it's loose skin . she had to call the regional nurse to approve that it couldn't be done . they were after taking 4500 thousand for me.. I reconnected with the representative that I originally had the initial consultation with she was she couldn't believe it that it couldn't be done." HER WORDS WHERE OMG YOU JOKING ME "So obviously the nurses are NOT trained ONE NURSE SAYING YES THE OTHER SAID NO They persuaded me to use the applicators on another area and that she said she would credit me an applicator from my inner ties and free laser facial. NOT FREE I HAD PAY FOR THE INNER thigh applicator if I was go ahead with it .. after their false information . I believe this is known as Bait and Switch, commonly known as fraud. ... read more
