The whole experience was positive! I have been wanting to get laser treatment done for several years now and finally did it! I found an ad on IG and entered my info but got busy and forgot about it. The next morning I got a follow up call from a ver friendly and knowledgeable person. She was really helpful and explained everything but I never felt pressured. She gave me options and sent all the things I needed to fill out as we spoke on the phone! I was actually able to go in same morning and get my first session done! It was literally 5 mins and I was out. I felt safe and secure knowing the staff that does the treatment are nurses and nurse techs. It wasn't even very painful but even if you have a very low tolerance for pain, the session is so fast and the technician talks to you the whole time you won't have time to think about it I can't wait to see my final results! Had my consult today with Diana over the phone. I had been wanting to do laser hair removal for a while now but never got around to it because the closest place for me to go was about an hour away. So glad I called before purchasing a Groupon for laser hair removal. I was on the phone with the call center to clarify what size area my bikini was considered and once he verified it was medium he asked if I'd like to be transferred to a consultant. I had questions on how many treatments I would need since Groupon only offered 3. She told me I would need 8, which was fine, but you couldn't purchase more than 3 from Groupon and the remaining 5 sessions jump in price so your total goes from $134 on Groupon to $600-$2k. I've been here before for another procedure off Groupon and if you don't buy the whole package they dial the laser down substantially so results are minimal. I was willing to give this place another chance, but I don't support manipulative business practices and I'm glad I called to see if that's what I was about to get myself into again! Also they don't guarantee their results even though the woman said the high cost was for better service. She said no dr does that anywhere. Well my Botox dr at serenity spa does and my lip injector at Snatched LA does and my results are always fabulous because they know they work well and take pride in their work which is why they have repeat business and high volume of referrals. read more

I'm not the kind of person that writes reviews but this feels necessary. I'm currently treating my underarms. I was scared at first because the last place I went to hurt so bad I didn't go back. When I called Laser Away I spoke to Isabel, the treatment specialist. Definitely ask for her, she is knowledgeable and professional. Isabel assured me the experience would be quick, pleasant, and with minimal pain, if any. She was definitely right about that. When I arrived at the clinic, the first thing I noticed was it's cleanliness. Everyone wore masks and did a proper COVID screening. The nurse who treated me was so incredibly sweet and most importantly, she was thorough. It made for a very positive experience. I'm on my second treatment and I've already cut my shaving time down to once every two weeks. I still have six more sessions - I can't imagine it getting much better, but they say it does and I will take their word for it. I praise this place to the high heavens! Had super unwelcoming greeter first time I came in followed by an unwelcoming technician. Pretty disappointing results. My last visit there was awful! She told me I was late so she couldn't do my whole appt. I was 15 minutes early and then she was like yea I guess we can finish because you have pretty small legs...she accidentally forgot to do a section of my leg. Then asked me if I wanted to sign up for more sessions. Reached out to them about it. Shouldn't be treated by anyone for how much we spend, and I drive an hour each time to go to the studio. If you talk to a live agent make sure you do your research and not something for you that won't work. I got talked into the full legs. For example I paid for my upper thighs and I have peach fuzz. Overall negative opinion and wouldn't recommend for the lack of results and money paid. Had several wonderful technicians that told me that I should have not been charged for my thighs. read more

After months of throwing the idea back in forth in my head, and finally ready to say goodbye to the razor burn on my neck, I decided to go with laser hair removal. Being a guy, I was conditioned to believe that it was simply my shaving technique that needed to be improved to prevent the razor burn. No my friends, I have been shaving since I was 13, my technique is flawless, and this time only a $200,000 high powered laser would fix my problems. Luckily I found LaserAway right here in Oxnard using this very app! Who woulda thought?! Anyways, I called them up and they offered me a deal too good to refuse. Actually they were the only place I called but I knew I couldn't refuse it because where else are you gonna find $42/session hair removal?! I don't have the answer to that but if I had to guess it's nowhere! So I booked myself right away and going through the quick zoom interview with their company doctor was a breeze! I get to my appointment only to be greeted by some of the freshest tunes of today's pop/punk and electro, this is definitely my place, and two welcoming smiles from the friendly ladies up front! After my quick check in and compliments to the DJ, I headed on back to where the magic, I mean lasers, happens. Honestly, if you have a tattoo, you've already experienced more pain than a laser, and I'm getting it on my NECK, just sayin. So anyways, I've had two sessions now and I'm convinced that this is going to help significantly reduce my ingrown hairs around the shave area of my neck, and eventually I (hopefully) won't have to shave! You can already see where it's working as there are already spots where the hair stopped growing. She said my pale skin and dark hair was perfect for the LASER, which is the first time I've been complimented on my pale skin, so kuddos to being a cave beast all winter and never leaving my house! In all seriousness, if you're looking to get some work done, this is your place. You'll immediately feel comfortable as you walk in to their CLEAN facility, and I appreciate they are doing their top job to accommodate around all the new Covid guidelines.
