Set up a consultation. Talked to 2 different people. Sent pictures. Never heard back. I guess they don't need business...

I came all the way across country, based on reviews regarding his acne treatment. My acne scars…read morereally weren't even that bad I have some box car and icepick scarring on my cheeks and a few chicken pop mark indentations on my forehead. $7000 wasted - still have the same scarring on my cheeks and, even though my poc marks do look better than before, what once was a relatively smooth forehead, has been left textured and indented with needle marks. Overall, the texture of my skin is worse and I am highly disappointed. As nice as they came across, i cannot recommend Dr. Taylor's practice.

I went to Dr. Huerth in November for a medium depth chemical peel to treat my melasma. As a RN…read moremyself, I have never before experienced so much unprofessionalism for a business and believe my treatment was below the standard of care. Dr. Huerth used glycolic acid and I believe that it went too deep which has caused permanent scarring, hypopigmentation, scar banding, and permanent nerve damage. It was also extremely painful that I felt my face was melting down to the bone and I have a high pain tolerance and have done multiple laser treatments in years past. She did two passes of the acid over my face and I remember she scrubbed far too excessively on both sides of my chin, which resulted in burning down to the dermis. I now have bilateral scarring and nerve damage and was put on 7 different medications thinking that it was possibly an infection. I asked for it to be swabbed because I was concerned it was MRSA. She didn't seem too concerned. Maybe because she knew it wasn't an infection and was a chemical burn. I even asked her if it was. After it was swabbed, the lab results were that it was normal bacterial flora on the face. This also solidifies that it wasn't an infection and was instead improper technique and excessive application of the acid resulting in nerve damage. Infection doesn't occur exactly bilaterally on either side of my mouth. I was scrupulous with my after care as well because of my medical background. I missed important meetings, family events, and now have a tremendous amount of anxiety, sadness, panic attacks, uncontrollable tears, and self confidence and self consciousness issues. I couldn't workout for a month because it was so ugly and scary to look at. The whole idea of the peel was to help my face have less hyperpigmentation so that I can wear less makeup. Now, it is impossible to cover and I have white patches on both sides. I've had multiple people point out that they thought my makeup wasn't blending in properly. To put it lightly, I am devastated and reached out to Dr. Huerth showing her progress pics and I grew increasingly concerned. She messaged me and stated that I wouldn't face any permanent scarring. Well she was wrong. I asked her kindly to reimburse me for the cost of the treatment, the scar serum she suggested I get that was around $250, the 7 meds that did little to help, and the gas of having to go to her office between 4 and 6 times total. I am a single mom to 3 kids. I sold items on FB marketplace to save up enough money to afford this procedure. Not only was it done improperly, she refused to compensate me, stopped answering any messages, wouldn't call me back, and I have asked for my medical records now 2 times without any word back. I'd write more about the specific mixture of acid, but I haven't been able to obtain my medical records. I feel they are purposely ignoring me in hopes that I will get frustrated and forget the whole thing ever happened. The whole thing has been extremely traumatizing and I would stay away from this business and any procedures by any of the doctors here. Several years ago I got a fraxel laser done by Dr. Taylor also for my melasma and before starting I said be careful my eyebrows are tattooed on and when I got home, the tail of my eyebrow was burned off! I called back and asked why none of the assistants said anything or Dr. Taylor and they claimed they weren't aware it happened. As a result, I had to get my eyebrows microbladed again and requested reimbursement for the procedure. They did reimburse me, but you'd think they'd be more careful when many women have permanent makeup. These doctors are subpar and more concerned with money than patient satisfaction. I am traumatized for life by my experience at Gateway Aesthetic Institute. Attached are progress pics of my procedure. The one holding my cheek is current status at 7 months post procedure. Still numb. Been to 3 medical professionals including another derm, a facial plastic surgeon and an oral surgeon and they all agree that the facial scarring and nerve damage is due to the chemical peel and how it was performed.

100% satisfaction. Dr. Jepson is a kind, professional practitioner whom I would highly reccommened…read more His office is smartly decorated, very clean and the staff is friendly. Dr. Jepson took his time explaining different options for lip fillers and what might work best for my situation. My lips are not cartoonish or overdone. He did an excellent job enhancing what I was already working with and correcting the things I didn't like about my natural lips. I will absolutely visit the office again! Update: I did visit Dr. Jepson's office again the following time I was in SLC. This time, I received fillers in my upper lip and my first round of Botox between my eye brows. Amazing results, and I am once again so very pleased with his work!

WARNING!!! STEVEN JEPSON INJECTED SUSPICIOUS SUBSTANCES…read more Steven P. Jepson, M.D. in Salt Lake City, Utah injected substances into my cheeks that he said are hyaluronic acid and dissolvable. However, based on my experience, I am suspicious of what exactly he injected into me. During approximately 13 separate sessions, high dosages of chemical were injected into my cheeks trying to remove Steven Jepson's fillers from my cheeks. Multiple doctors were unable to chemically break down the fillers Steven P. Jepson injected into my cheeks.   Ultrasound imaging would later show that permanent silicone is located in my cheeks. This permanent silicone was injected into me against my will and knowledge. Facial silicone is illegal. The liquid silicone injected into my cheeks was done illegally. I was unaware I had permanent silicone. How did that get into my cheeks? Because I was told by Steven Jepson that he injected hyaluronic-acid filler into me, and because the fillers were NOT breaking down, that allowed excess chemical to be injected into me trying to break down the fillers. The natural structure of my entire face was destroyed by the excess chemical, during repeated chemical-injections sessions. The excess chemical spread through my body and I experienced severe bodily harm. I was never informed by Steven Jepson that any harm was possible trying to remove his fillers. Not knowing silicone is located in my cheeks, I contacted Steven Jepson via email. I informed him of the unsuccessful attempts to remove the fillers he injected. He mailed a refund check to me for the fillers. But when I asked to speak with him over the phone, he refused. And when I emailed him questions regarding chemically trying to break down his fillers, he was evasive, and wouldn't answer my questions. This made me more suspicious of what exactly he injected into me. I then requested and received the medical records from him. After receiving the medical records, he sent an email to me stating that he would no longer speak with me, and that if I have any questions, I can speak with his insurance company. Insurance companies provide lawyers to represent doctors in legal cases. This raised serious concerns of what exactly Steven Jepson injected into me. I was in need of medical care and Steven Jepson would not see me or speak with me. A doctor who cares about a patient would say: These are my fillers I injected into you, come see me at my office, and let me help you. Steven Jepson did the opposite. He did not care about my health and safety. Subsequently, I reviewed the medical records from Steven Jepson, the product labeling for the fillers appeared suspicious. Two documented fillers have labels with duplicate identification numbers. Each individual filler is supposed to have its own unique identification number on the manufacturer's label. Yet, the label for one filler that he injected during one appointment has the exact identification number as the label for a second filler that was injected almost three weeks later. I paid Steven Jepson for individual fillers at separate appointments. The filler labels in Steven Jepson's medical records were sent to a dermatologist. The dermatologist sent the labels to their executive contact at the manufacturer. The dermatologist then replied that the labels are fake. After receiving my medical records, I spoke with his receptionist who told me that Steven Jepson was in the process of changing medical-record systems. Several months later, I noticed his website stated that he sold his med spa and that he retired When I take all these inconsistencies, coupled with Steven Jepson refusing to speak with me, it raises serious concerns of what exactly Steven Jepson was injecting into me. I've spent approximately $200,000 on procedures to chemically remove the substances, and subsequent surgeries to address permanent harm I suffered from trying to chemically remove his fillers. Steven P. Jepson is an Internal Medicine doctor who opened a med spa for profit. He used the word "Dermatologic" in the naming of his company. This allowed his name to appear in my online search for a dermatologist. I thought I was receiving filler injections from a board-certified dermatologist. I did not know he is an Internal Medicine doctor. It's good that Steven Jepson retired. But that does not take away from the harm he caused me. If you were injected with filler by Steven P. Jepson, M.D. in Utah, prior to 2019, and have been unable to remove the substances, you can have an ultrasound or MRI of your face to identify what was injected into you.
