I tried to schedule an appointment with another local laser hair removal studio here in SLC last winter and declined the offer as they were super pushy and very very expensive. Now I know this is not a cheap service anyways and after doing my research I gave Laser Away a call. Knowing I wanted specific services, had read the reviews, went through everything I could on my own through the website I was excited and expected the ladies in the office to send over loan information after my consultation. Day of my first treatment, I was super nervous but after I arrived I was at ease. Everyone in the front was super friendly and I did not feel I was being judged or treated rudely like some reviews have said. But I'm from NY, so maybe my skin is thicker LOL The treatment itself was honestly way less painful that I had thought. I am also covered in tattoos so my pain tolerance is high. When it was a bit spicy, my Technician Masha was receptive and turned the cool air up higher making it way more enjoyable. I let her know this was my first time and she answered all my questions and made me feel really comfortable. I could tell she was busy, but I get it. So am I when I am at work. The two ladies at the front desk were wonderful as well answering my many a question. I did not feel pressured to buy anything though different services were offered, when I declined it was no big deal. Overall, I loved this. Honestly I was kinda nervous to start this process. It always seemed too expensive, too vain or high matienance. And everyone always has horror stories whenever you bring something like hair removal up. Imagine my surprise when I finally built up the nerve to do a consultation, and the prices were not only affordable- but they had payment plans, bundles and all kinds of ways to get things taken care of. So I agreed to start - and my first session was the very next day. It was LOVELY. I really can't say enough wonderful things about the whole environment. The receptionist was so kind, thoughtful and really went above and beyond to make me comfortable. The technician was assured, a really comfortable presence through out the whole appointment. She built so much trust and confidence in such a short time. Something that could have been uncomfortable, awkward and self conscious became one of the best experiences I've ever had with any professional service. And that's not to mention the absolutely STELLAR results. Not only did I feel great while I was there, I feel great after too. I'd recommend this place to anyone, above any other establishment. Laser hair removal has always been a goal for me, but far off in the distance. I skeptically looked into LaserAway, after seeing a few of their ads on Instagram. Chatting with one of the front desk ladies at the Salt Lake location, Natalie, I intended to learn what I could about their pricing and procedures and then bounce until I was "ready." Natalie answered every one of my questions so thoroughly that I couldn't think of any good reason not to go for it! Mary, the nurse I saw for my first treatment, helped me feel comfortable and walked me through exactly what to expect before she started. The procedure itself was pretty painless but not comfortable. However, there are several different tools they use for pain management, as everyone's pain tolerance is different. The staff is so friendly, accomodating, and genuine; they want to help you achieve your desired results while providing space to speak up if you are ever unsure or uncomfortable about something. I had a very frustrating experience with LaserAway and would not recommend them based on how my situation was handled. After purchasing a treatment package through financing, I requested clarification on charges and a breakdown of what they considered "services rendered." Instead of providing answers, LaserAway stopped responding to my emails for months. I was left with active loans and no clear explanation of what I was being charged for. The only way I was able to get any resolution was by filing a complaint with the state. After the Utah Division of Consumer Protection became involved, LaserAway finally issued refunds. Even then, I was never provided with proper documentation explaining their calculations or decisions. To make matters worse, the services I received did not produce the results that were represented at the time of purchase. This experience was stressful, time-consuming, and completely avoidable with basic communication and transparency. I would strongly advise others to be cautious, especially when financing is involved. read more

Overall I've had a great experience with laser away. I typically go to the location in trolley square, and have found the staff to be super helpful and friendly. I'm 5/6 treatments into my IPL package targeting redness and have been super happy with my results so far. Immediately after treatment my redness is worse, but over time I've seen probably about a 60-70% reduction in my constant redness which is pretty much the best I could hope for. The process is more painful then I initially expected (feels like a sharp, hot rubber band hitting your face), but it's short which makes it tolerable. There have been a few hiccups along the way so if I was able to, my rating would be more of a 4.5 and not a 5. They've been short staffed a couple of times causing waits or needing to change my appointment but that has just been a couple of times, generally I've had no problem. Overall, I'd book the same IPL again! read more

I purchased a 12 session package of Clear + Brilliant laser treatments for my face, and I just did the 2nd treatment today. I started noticing some results after my first treatment such as reduced pore size and my acne started healing right away. Right away after my 2nd treatment I am noticing fine lines starting to minimize, and my skin looks and feels tighter and smoother! I have my 3rd appointment scheduled for 2 weeks away, and I can't wait to get my finished results! I think it's definitely worth it to get both texture and pigment treatments together, and I purchased the larger package so I can use some of the treatments down the road since they don't expire (plus the price is much more affordable if you buy a package vs individual sessions)! The staff has been great with answering all my questions since this is the first high-end face treatments I've ever done, and I'm very happy so far! read more

I have been getting laser hair removal for just about a year now, and overall the experience has been good! I have been seeing good results and have recommended LA to several people! I think that the clinicians I have worked with are well trained and very skilled, however, the thorough-ness of the process is not always the same with different nurses. My only complaint is that I feel like they were not super forthcoming coming with how many sessions you might need to see the results you are wanting, but I know that not everyone is the same, so that might be something that they can't really say! I also will add that how many sessions you have probably depends on how strong the laser is during all your sessions, and the slower you go up, the more sessions it seems to take, so overall I think they probably gave me as much information as they could, I just wish they could give more! read more

I've had such a great experience with this company, from the consultation and getting questions and concerns addressed, the friendly staff, the actual procedures and their products!! I'm very grateful to be doing the laser hair removal and the Clear and Brilliant with this facility as well because they're well equipped with technology that they can adjust for your needs. This was my first time getting lip injections so was nervous . So I decided why not make an appointment for me and my daughter and her friend all three of us can go in there and do it together all of our first time. The staff there were so helpful and getting all three of us in there together they let us all be In the same room together for support. Lauren the nurse that did the injections was amazing and patient on answering all of our questions and concerns. Not to mention she's very knowledgeable at what she does she has a masters in aesthetics which is a plus when they're knowledgeable and educated on what they do. Absolutely loved the experience I had at this new location. All of the staff seemed to love to be there and made personal connections with me right from the start. I just went in for a brazilian laser and I ended up getting so much more because they were able to work with me and my finances to get me the best deal for what my goals are. I'm a new client with Laser Away, I attended my 1st visit today. I got a loan for the package with no problem, all my questions were answered. My visit today was very pleasant. I was greeted by such sweet ladies at the front desk making me very comfortable and offered me a cup of coffee. I absolutely enjoyed the conversation with my laser tech today, she was very easy to chat with throughout my session. I had the best double Natalie experience! I was so nervous about getting my laser hair removal. Natalie was my technician/nurse, she was very patient and amazing to work with. The front desk staff and clinicians are incredibly friendly and professional. Whether it's technical questions or scheduling the staff have been there to ensure any and all of my questions are answered (for which there have been many). I haven't had any fuss scheduling treatments in advanced or rescheduling with enough time in advance. I've felt comfortable coming here for my hair removal and Xeomin procedures and am looking forward to continuing. As with any service oriented industry some staff are more enthusiastic than others and it always depends on the day. I have yet to not be greeted with a smile or have a good conversation. read more

I love this office. I work in healthcare, and it's always a bit daunting taking care of everyone else. But every time I come here, the staff are so sweet and they always do a great job my confidence has been going up since I started getting clear and brilliant. My teenage acne scars are gently fading out of my life. I also got hair and tattoo removal and I am so happy to finally be able to treat myself, and know I am in good hands while doing it.
