Upon encountering a flight delay from Las Vegas, I promptly reached out to reschedule my appointment at the Union Square branch. Initially, I was assured over the phone that my appointment could be moved to the following week without any issues. However, to my surprise, I later received an email demanding a $50 cancellation fee, which was never mentioned during our initial conversation. Despite expressing my gratitude for the understanding shown by the staff member at the time, I found myself facing an unexpected charge. Upon calling the Union Square location to address the matter, I was met with a dismissive attitude from a staff member named Bree, who claimed that I had been "warned" about cancellations in the past. This choice of language felt unnecessarily confrontational and did not align with the professional standards expected in customer service interactions. Despite explaining the circumstances leading to my cancellation, I was informed that my future appointments would be withheld until the fee was paid. Despite requesting to speak with a manager to discuss the issue further, I received no follow-up as promised. Instead, Bree returned my call with a voicemail reiterating the necessity of the fee and informing me of the decision to restrict my access across all LaserAway locations. This decision was conveyed in a seemingly polite manner but did little to soften the blow of such disappointing treatment. As a long-time patron who has invested a significant amount of money in Laser Away's services, I expected a higher level of professionalism and understanding. Holding access to services, for which I have already paid, over a nominal fee of $50 strikes me as disproportionate and unreasonable. It is disheartening to witness such treatment being condoned by the organization's leadership. In conclusion, my recent experience with Laser Away Union Square has left me feeling deeply disappointed. However, just a day before the scheduled session, I received the dreaded call informing me of its cancellation. Assurances were given that I would be squeezed into the schedule if any openings arose due to cancellations. Days passed, yet the anticipated call never came. The uncertainty lingered, leaving me feeling frustrated and unsure of when I would finally be able to proceed with my appointment. In situations like these, patience is tested, and communication becomes crucial. While understanding that unforeseen circumstances can arise, clear and timely updates from the service provider would have alleviated much of the frustration and uncertainty. Suzie is the magical fairy godmother I didn't know I needed in my life. I would gladly pay time and again to have her beat my face. And I basically did, since I bought a years worth of Clear + Brilliant. She's incredibly attentive and comforting. From my consultation with Jenny to every phone conversation and interaction I have had thus far, it's been super pleasant. Everyone there is a walking testament to the services they provide and you get the sense that they all actually like working there and want to be there. How refreshing. As for the treatment itself, I've only had one session and it did make me break out every 4-5 days, but I'm hopeful for the future sessions. Definitely opt for the stronger numbing cream bc the one they had given me did not work and I could feel everything. But Suzie talked me through it and was a great coach and took care of me. I received Botox for the first time ever and my experience at LaserAway was exceptional from start to finish! The consultation was so easy and I was able to do it all from the comfort of my own home. The salesperson, Ashley C, was very knowledgeable and helped guide me through everything. I was clueless (and admittedly a little nervous) about the whole Botox process and Ashley absolutely put my mind at ease. She also did a stellar job finding me a appointment ASAP after I explained to her I wanted to have this done prior to an upcoming trip. The actual appointment experience was great as well. The gals at the front desk were friendly and attentive, so checking-in was a breeze. The nurse practitioner who saw me (I failed to get her name) was sweet and gentle with the injections. This location has repeatedly disappointed me with their appointment management. I initially called and booked an appointment, but upon arriving in person, I was informed that I had no appointment at all. Later, I scheduled a full body laser session, only to be told upon arrival that they could only accommodate a Brazilian. Today's appointment, scheduled for 3:15pm, didn't start until 3:50pm, and they only managed to treat my underarms, insisting I return on Friday for the rest. Their consistent mishandling of appointments and my time has led me to opt for the Castro location instead. The lack of professionalism and respect for my time is simply unacceptable. read more

I have been using laser away for over 9 months now and they have yet to let me down when it comes to customer service. They representatives go above and beyond to make sure you are happy with your services and overall experience. I would especially like to thank Danielle Bonnington. I have already bought 2 packages through laser away and was feeling disappointed I would have to reschedule an appointment last minute. She talked with me and we were able to work something out and she also sold me another package for my legs. Dont go any place else for any services listed at Laser Away. First, my appointment with Nina went awesome! had botox done. She was very accommodating, detailed and thorough. I appreciate that because it was my first time having Nina and I wanted to make sure she knew the look I was going for. she did a good job executing that. The front desk was also very kind and patient. I was running 15 minutes late and they were able to fit me in with Nina. I was hesitant at first because I never had her before but so far so good. because I made my appointment last minute I decided to continue on. They all made me feel welcome. I'm very happy! I've had two sessions of laser tattoo removal treatments and I have to say I'm extremely happy with how well the process has gone so far. My first technician Nina explained how I should be preparing for future sessions. My second technician Jackie made sure to access how well I was healing. Both took their time during treatments and made sure to answer any questions I had. I now feel a lot better about my choice to have this done and I look forward to my next treatment. The stuff and the nurses are always friendly and courteous Last Friday, I met nurse JENELLE, such a caring, kind and very professional lady. She told me that on my 5th session, it'll ne a bit spicy than before but I could handle it especially because she was talking to me and telling me I am doing great. My entire experience at Laser Away Sutter was amazing! Ashley the Clinic Director was great, she gave me a little education on the different fillers they offer as well as the Clear + Brillant which is what I got. Love this new, convenient location. I started hair removal treatments at the Marina location, but this space is so easy to get to and each time they accommodate my crazy schedule. Susi was my technician for my latest underarm/bikini treatment and she was so professional, sweet and meticulous. She made a process that can feel awkward at times, easy and painless, and answered all my random questions with ease. I have been visiting this specific LaserAway location for years, but during my recent visit, it was awful. I had a new nurse assist me with my service, and the way she explained the procedure and took care of me was unpleasant. It seemed she was untrained in what she was doing. Jennifer, who I believe is a new hire, was not someone I had seen in the past despite coming here for many years. Next time, if new nurses are going to assist with treatments, they should be properly trained and instructed. read more

Their admin staff is super professional, prompt (I never have to wait) and courteous (free coffee, can take calls from the lobby if needed, etc.).
