I've just finished up my hair removal treatment and I can say with certainty that this is my favorite location! Everyone is always really friendly and helpful, from the front desk staff to the nurses who give the treatments. All the nurses have been amazing but I especially loved chatting with Liezel (I'm sorry if I got your name wrong), she was so kind and cheerful. She was very attentive during the treatment, making sure my pain levels were ok and making me feel at ease. a month ago I went for consultation, and I was told that my treatment would need 6 to 8 office visits. I signed up for 8 sessions. This month was my 5th visit and I told the nurse that there was still lots of hair growth , she then tells me that I need 8 to 12 sessions for the laser to work on my face. If I was given accurate information on the # of sessions I would have done my research with other business too to see the best deal. I was very upset with my last office visit. To add to this a trainee was performing on me. I am not happy with my current treatment here, but need to complete it and will never come back after my 8th session is over. I always have the best experience coming into Laser Away! The ladies in the front are super friendly and welcome you with water and coffee as you wait. This time, I came in for my second laser tattoo removal with Samantha as she was training Jina. Both ladies did an EXCELLENT job making me feel comfortable throughout the whole process (it is not a pleasant procedure, btw, but they made it quick and easy)! Samantha was super knowledgeable and Jina did a fantastic job as she did my treatment. I also came in for a Fire & Ice facial after my tattoo removal, which Jina did and Samantha supervised. Both, again, did a fantastic job ensuring I was comfortable the whole time. They were super funny and sweet too, which made me feel more at ease. The facial was painless and my skin feels so tight. Even my boyfriend noticed my skin looked glowy already when I hadn't even told him I got a facial! As for the tattoo removal, it's not so pleasant, but they constantly ask if you're ok or if you need a break. Luckily, my tattoo isn't big so no breaks were needed. I love getting my treatments here. The place is extremely clean and the staff are friendly. Laser hair removal was something I just wanted to try, 4 treatments later and I can say it is one of the best things I have every done for myself. Overall, the treatments itself are fine. The place is clean and nice. But my issue is the customer service and appointments. 3 times now my appointment time was changed without my knowledge. I would just receive a text a few days before with an entirely different time. So obviously I have to reschedule because it doesn't work for me... but the appointments I get are 2 to 4 weeks out because they have no availability. This is a problem because the treatment are too far apart and is not as effective. I tried to call multiple times at the San Ramon location and the main office in LA to get the issue addressed and I keep being told the manager and director will call me back but it's been more than two weeks and still no call back. Everyday I call I'm told they're at a meeting and will call as soon as they're done or they will leave a note in my account- but still nothing. I try to be responsible and schedule my appointments after every treatment- 6 weeks early -because my schedule is so tight between work and my kids and I think it's extremely disrespectful to change my appointments without my knowledge and not have this issue addressed by the appropriate people. I think that is extremely unprofessional... it's unfortunate because the nurses there do a great job with the treatments but the office is tan poorly read more
