I can't praise LaserAway enough for their incredible customer service and care from beginning to end! I need to start with my girl Sarah who was my initial point of contact that I did my intake with. This is definitely semi permanent. I had 10 sessions spaced out every 6 weeks. The staff is very nice and will try to upsell so be prepared. I only had 1 minor issue with the scheduling where they didn't completely book my appointment and I arrived unexpectedly. They rectified the issue by squeezing me in a couple hours later. Make sure to check for deals. And make sure you're a good candidate. I started seeing really good results around my 8th session; limited growth and thinning of hair. I would only have to shave 1x/week. But that was at its best. After I completed all 10 sessions (which cost a small fortune) the growth rate started back up again and the hair started looking thicker. I'm now having to shave every other day but the regrowth isn't as "prickly" if that makes sense? The photo is 6 months after my last session. read more

After getting a few laser hair removals, I now am a true believer of laser hair removal- the process does take some time to see results. The ambiance of laseraway is very feminine and feels targeted towards women, but they do welcome anyone. I just wish there were more rooms. There was one session where my appointment was delayed for a little more than an hour, and I had to be placed in the consultation room before moving into a regular room. When doing laser for the first time, I highly recommend requesting for numbing cream aka lidocaine cream. That's another thing I was a little concerned about- I can't believe that lidocaine cream cost an extra $100. If you look at Amazon, it's like $10. I'm not sure why lidocaine cream should cost that much, but just to make the experience better, I just added it on. I do see results, and I can see why people do it- hair growth does slow down significantly, and I don't have to worry about razor bumps. I definitely think that laser is worth it if you can afford it. I like the customer service here, and the nurses do a good job of explaining instructions; however, I have been talking to some friends that have been doing laser for a while, and they say that laseraway is more on the pricier side than most places; I can see why, but since I'm almost done with my treatments, I'm going to to just finish it here. If I would've known, I would've done my research and compare prices of other laser hair removal treatments next time. Update: I've now had multiple session at laser away and I am very satisfied. After the first session I already started seeing less hair growth and thinning of the hair. The length of time the hair takes to grow back has also increased with every visit. All of the staff are very friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. I always get an appointment right away and anytime I have to reschedule they are nice about it and help me right away. Nurse Melissa walked me through my options for my needs very thoroughly. She helped me understand my stubborn wrinkle in my case is due to my strong forehead muscles and are not related to an elasticity issue. I was suggested clear and brilliant or potenza. The potenza will be less treatments for the results I want but maybe a tad bit more painful for me (keep in mind I'm a baby when it comes to pain and they do numb you first). I have been trying to remove a 15 year old tattoo for 4 years now. 17 sessions later and it's still not gone. Pay more money, find a company with Picosure laser.
