Okay, so I have a lot of hair, but nothing hairy to say about LaserAway. Did someone ask for a beauty guru? Well, I think Alana could be that one person indeed. She was equipped with the answers and or happily ready to find the answer to any question I had. For example, Alana provided information about the company and customer satisfaction to specific technology use for treatments and treatment options. Alana further enhanced my experience by guiding me throughout my journey from the beginning to my initial visit. Medical team members via video interview during the initial assessment were professional and cordial; bed-side manner is always critical regardless of whatever capacity (in person or not). My first facility visit was excellent. The staff, particularly Britney, was mindful of it being my first visit and immediately made me feel like a regualr. The actual technician who provided me with the laser treatment was extremely friendly and regularly assessed for any levels of discomfort during the session. Again, professionalism with a dash of personality was very pronounced. I concluded my first visit with Alana to share my immediate reaction, something I rarely do, but I must give credit where credit is due. They help you take note of all their available offers and are willing to work with you if you have are having a hard time financially ahem covid. Nurse Rhia was very helpful and knowledgeable. It was my first time getting laser hair removal and I was slightly nervous and she could tell. She talked me through it and showed me the different equipment used in the process. There's the laser itself and the little spray pen that shoots out chilly air to soothe the areas getting lasered. They had over booked the day. The wait 1hr & had to hear front office employees gossiping about clients and roll there eyes behind clients. That was very unprofessional and most disrespectful. BE CAREFUL, really do your research and make sure you don't just make a decision based off the sequenced reviews and high pressure sales pitch. Once you sign up, they got you and your money. I came in and met with Angela whom aggressively tracked me down for weeks after leaving my consultation. Makes sense now. After 4 treatments, no result of from my purchase of the Brazilian, upper lip/chin and happy trail package. I spoke with Angela again after the 4th treatment and she recommended coming in for hair measurement as she advised I should defiantly be seeing some form of result after 4 treatments. In doing so, the girl who performs laser removal advised after looking at my eye brows that due to the light color that could be why the treatments were not working, not dark enough coloration in my hair pigmentation because I'm naturally a dirty blonde. Interesting, why was this not considered before taking money oh so easily. I had a strong feeling this was going to be the motive and stance of "sorry can't do anything for you" attitude. Additionally, they alluded that the cause could potentially be from a thyroid condition I have recently overcome. These are folks that have no room to provide medical opinion and claim so on the it advertisement. They did advise they could reimburse for the last two treatments left for each package (being much less than what was already paid, and those free treatments they added on the initial package could not be applied to any of the first treatments performed, they could only reimburse for the last two left, OF COURSE. Called Angela today and asked for reimbursement, wasn't going to even make a stink about how I already felt scammed, she inaccurately reimbursed me and when I called her about it, she essentially didn't do a dang thing and kept repeating the same thing thing over clearly showing she did not care whatsoever. She sure did when I initially came in for a consultation. Called corporate and spoke with Taylor, who agreed, reimbursement was improperly disbursed, all was well (still was annoyed for major loss and inconvenience) and then she called back to tell me she made another error that is was a different amount they would reimburse. So here I set with no hair removal result and the money owed to me is still with laseraway. People will continue to get scammed and some treatments might work for some, but the entirety of this review is to just ensure you look at the many women that have been negatively affected by laseraway other than Yelp. Let me tell you many women have been pushed to the side and essentially scammed. I can say I would have $1100 more in pocket if I would have REALLY looked into it. Corporate doesn't care, management doesn't care. Note: Laseraway, don't bother sending me one of your generic so sorry for your experience and that it's one of your highest priorities is to provide quality service. If it was you would have done the right thing the first two times you had the opportunity. THIS IS strictly to ensure this doesn't happen to others women. read more
