I followed through and completed three more sessions at the new location, but saw absolutely no improvement. Frustrated, I decided to try another company -- and after just one session with them, my tattoo is already about 50% lighter. I reached out to LaserAway about the lack of results and was only offered store credit for the four sessions, which is unacceptable. Getting a callback has been a constant struggle, and the customer service has been among the worst I've experienced. Do yourself a favor: save your time, money, and energy. I would not recommend LaserAway to anyone based on my experience.

The swelling, lumps, discoloration, and contour irregularities have been present continuously since the original treatment and have been documented throughout the past eight years by multiple medical professionals. Shortly after the filler was placed, I sought evaluation from a nationally recognized injector and trainer who diagnosed malar edema and advised that the filler had been improperly placed. This was my first experience with tear trough filler or any filler. Since then, I have consulted numerous injectors, vein specialists, and oculoplastic surgeons, all of which is documented. Contrary to your statement, there is extensive published discussion within the aesthetic community regarding the long-term complications of tear trough filler, including persistent swelling, malar edema, Tyndall effect, migration, and filler remaining detectable years after injection. These are recognized complications and not claims I have invented. I have never stated that this experience was a "new" problem that suddenly appeared after eight years. I have consistently stated that it has been an ongoing issue since the original treatment. My review reflects my personal experience and documented medical history. Facts, opinions, and personal experiences are not defamation. Since you have suggested legal action, I welcome the opportunity to pursue this further.

Unfortunately, after Jasmine left Belle Vie, I decided to give NP Jessica a try since I still had my membership. After my experience today, I can confidently say I will not be going back. I got AquaGold microneedling done today and felt very undermined and blindsided. I arrived at 3:05 for optional numbing before my 3:30 appointment, but when I asked about numbing I was told they don't numb for this procedure because 1) it doesn't hurt and 2) it's much quicker than normal microneedling. Both of those statements turned out to be false. I was seen at 3:15 and finished my session around 3:40. At first the pain was bearable, but as the procedure continued it became increasingly painful. After I repeatedly told NP Jessica how much it hurt, she asked if it was my first time microneedling--even though I had already told her it was my first time when she walked into the room and that I was excited to try something new. Her response of "ohhhh I'm so sorry" made it feel like what I had shared beforehand wasn't really taken into account. For context, I have a very high pain tolerance. I've done multiple sessions of PRF EZGel under my eyes with NP Jasmine (formerly at Belle Vie and now at Intemporel Clinic). I've even been told I'm an easy patient to work on because I really do not complain. After the appointment, I called immediately while sitting in my car to be reminded of the post-care instructions because I was honestly so discombobulated from the experience that I couldn't recall them. I also got a second opinion from another NP based in Newport, who told me they absolutely could have numbed me rather than telling me the procedure wouldn't hurt and was quicker. I called back again and ended up getting connected to the receptionist at the Cerritos location, which was bizzare because 22 minute prior the Newport receptionist picked up. She was very apologetic and helped answer all of my questions. I mentioned that for future reference, I believe NP Jessica could be more mindful and transparent about the pain level and the fact that everyone's tolerance varies. I even said I would have gladly paid extra for numbing if that was the issue. She informed me that numbing is actually complimentary and that if I arrived early and asked about it, they could have simply asked if that was something I wanted rather than dismissing it. I will say that Z is the absolute best, and every facial I've gotten from her has been so good!! Although I won't be returning to Belle Vie after 3 years of coming here, I do wish them the best!!

She doesn't just slap on some wax and call it a day. She takes her time, gets every nook and cranny, and will even break out the tweezers for those stubborn little hairs that refuse to cooperate. One thing I really enjoy is the atmosphere. Even though we're all strangers, there's something fun about sitting side by side, chatting or relaxing, while everyone leaves feeling a little more beautiful. While the price is affordable, I will not come back due to sanitary issues & incorrect methods they use. We made appts for 12 pm and my nails were not started until 12:45 pm. My nail tech (Michelle) was very nice and she does nails well, however, she used the nail grinder tool to clean my cuticles. My cuticles HURT for hours after my nails were done and weeks after the appt, I still have cut up cuticles and scabbing from the blood (pictures attached). I wish I had known in the moment that this method is not okay; it should have been a cuticle cutter. Once I got to my car and quickly googled that I found: Grinders are made for shaping hard artificial or natural nail surfaces, not living skin. Using a high-speed rotating bit on the delicate cuticle and the nail bed can easily cause painful skin tears, deep friction burns, and severe infections. These aren't correct practices used by this salon; they are taking the easy route to get it done quickly. Would not recommend. I would give them 1 star but Yelp removes those reviews easily so that's why I'm putting 2-stars.

I had my first treatment about two weeks ago for full Brazilian, under arms and lower legs. To say the least my experience was completely amazing!! Ashley was my nurse, before my treatment we went over my health and what to expect with laser how to maintain it exedra. I was told by some friends to come in an hour early to buy numbing cream but I decided at the last minute that I wasn't going to use it. Ashley did give me a little stress ball to use in case it did hurt but I didn't need to use it the conversation that we had kept me quite distracted from the minimum pain that I did have. The appointment took about 30 minutes for the whole process which I was amazed about. I did notice when my hair came back it was thicker but I did exfoliate how Ashley told me to and the hair started falling out on its own she also mentioned that this was completely normal since the hair is getting pretty much burned from the laser if there's any when the procedure is getting done. I have definitely referred some of my colleagues and my client especially those who aren't good candidates for waxing as I'm a full body waxer. I can't wait until I'm done with all my sessions. The front desk was awful it did suck that I did wait longer to get seen by my nurse than the actual appointment, but I understand when it comes to this business when it comes to booking and how things come up last minute, so if you come in here and make sure you bring a book or your phone is fully charged so you can keep yourself busy. But other than that I really love this place and I have boughten a Groupon for my mother to come in and I'm really happy with the service that I've received and can't wait to go back again in a few weeks. The primary reason I am writing this review is to commend the outstanding service provided by their front desk lady, Fariba. She is truly the epitome of kindness and professionalism. Fariba consistently goes above and beyond to ensure the satisfaction of every customer. Her perpetual smile is a testament to her dedication, even after a long day's work, and it instantly makes you feel welcomed and comfortable. Recently, I had to plan a trip out of town, and Fariba was instrumental in assisting me with scheduling my appointments. Her willingness to accommodate my needs and provide excellent customer service left a lasting impression. She embodies the true spirit of exceptional customer care, and I couldn't be happier with my experience at Newlook Skin Center, thanks in large part to Fariba's exceptional efforts. HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! I and my sister bought the 6 sessions for Laser Hair Removal and we are done with 4 sessions And all 3 times they made us wait for 40 - 60 mins. Fourth time we were 10 mins late and they said that they cant go for all areas as we are late for our appointment (although it was just 10 mins). We said ok and when we were done we made them a request to do our rest areas if its possible, as it would do only 10 mins now, (lower arms only for my sister) we are ready to wait as the location is on 45 mins drive from our house. And then we waited 1 hour and 50 mins and the receptionist girls didnt bother to pay attention. After 1 hour and 50 mins when i found no customer waiting for appointment. So I asked them if they can take us now. She said that they cant take us as they are fully booked. I said there is no one now and she said the employees need to take their breaks so they can't take us in. I said all three times i had been waiting for 45 - 50 mins while we were on time always and this time we were just 10 mins late and you guys didnt do all areas and now we have been waiting for almost 2 hours for this 10 MINS SESSION and you are not trying to adjust us. I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Newlook Skin Center, despite being a loyal client since 2008. My recent visit left me not only dissatisfied but deeply concerned about the clinic's standards of care and professionalism. During my laser hair removal session, it was evident that proper sterilization protocols were not followed, and the machine itself was not adequately cleaned. It also became alarmingly clear that the staff lacked the necessary training. Nurse Kim, who administered my treatment, was unfamiliar with the GentleMax Pro laser device and used it incorrectly. As a result, I've been suffering from painful skin lesions and burn marks on multiple areas of my body since that session. I've since had to seek care from a qualified dermatologist, incurring significant costs to manage the damage. As a healthcare professional myself, I find the lack of safety protocols, proper training, and accountability at Newlook Skin Center unacceptable. I have spoken to multiple staff members regarding my concerns and requested a refund, but to this day, no resolution has been offered. I can no longer recommend this clinic to anyone. My experience has been distressing and costly, and I strongly urge others to reconsider before seeking treatment here. read more

I liked this place first when I went there the nurses were professional and neat but the misery started when I started to contact the customer service in Glendal to schedule my next appointment I find out that IT'S A VERY BIG JOKE.The customer service agent there don't know what they're doing each customer agent give me different information like when I called to book my next session to be Sunday and they told me it's already booked and no place available I hangup to look at my schedule to find another days and when I called back I found out that Sunday is available by another customer agent and in the same time that I requsted before. Also after my first session I requested to add another area in my next session. The customer service in Irvine said I will put a note so you can do it next time. When I called the customer service in Glendale to confirm my appointment for next day she said I couldn't find any notes about the other area and she added 5$ more on the price that I got it from the customer service in Irvine. Buyer beware! This place stole $600 from me. When you book an appointment they make you put down $600 to confirm and hold your appointment. It is suppose to be released the day of your appointment. They put it through my bank and the $600 was taken out of my savings. I have called several times and have been given the run around with no answer or any attempt to refund my money. I am reporting them to my bank as fraud and I'm calling the police to report this as my money was stolen. Also the customer service is horrible! When I first made an appointment I showed up on time and was told that the nurse called it. They did not call me prior to tell me this. I rescheduled my appointment and it happened again! No phone call again. The procedure I was having was an injection in my cheeks for fullness. Well one cheek is now bigger than the other and I felt that the nurse did not know what she was doing so now I have to go somewhere else to correct this and it's costing me an additional $800 to fix the problem. I had an awful experience at New Look Skin Center in Irvine and feel compelled to warn others. I went in for a laser treatment on October 19, 2024, targeting my full arms and partial back/neck. Initially, everything seemed fine, but by that evening, my arms started burning and itching intensely. Despite following the post-care instructions given by their technician, my skin broke out in red, painful bumps, and I was in agony. The pain and irritation have lasted for over a week, making it hard to sleep or function. When I reached out for assistance, they initially offered a consultation, but the support was inadequate. My skin condition only worsened, and when I requested a full refund, I was denied. This experience has been a nightmare, and I would never undergo laser treatment again. I had an appointment today with your RN, Minoo, due to her excellent reputation. However, my experience with your front desk was disappointing. I was delayed by 5 minutes due to heavy traffic on the freeway caused by construction. Despite offering to wait, I was met with rudeness and interruptions from your front desk staff. Minoo even offered to help me after her break, but your staff did not allow me to explain my situation. This behavior reflects poorly on your business, as the front desk is the face of your company. I urge you to provide additional training to your front desk staff on customer service and professionalism. I am considering not returning to your facility and may leave a negative review on Yelp. I recently went to Newlook Skin Center for Botox treatment and I must say, I am extremely disappointed with the results. Despite paying a hefty amount for the treatment, I still have visible lines on my face. When I went back to complain, the staff insisted that I needed more units and asked me to pay even more money for the same treatment. To make matters worse, they refused to do any touch-ups and just kept spouting nonsense. The customer service was pathetic and they showed zero concern for my satisfaction. I felt cheated and ripped off by the entire experience. I strongly advise everyone to avoid Newlook Skin Center for botox. They are unprofessional, money-hungry and provide sub-standard services. I recently visited a cosmetic store based on my friend Joy's recommendation, and I was thoroughly impressed. The staff at the store were incredibly knowledgeable, particularly the nurse who administered my Botox treatment. She, Joy, and I were amazed by how well she managed the dosage, constantly checking in with me to ensure it was to my satisfaction without going overboard. Moreover, she employed special techniques to minimize any discomfort caused by the needles. The store itself is spacious and serene, creating a pleasant ambiance that Joy and I found quite appealing. Do not waste your money here. Not only are their sessions overpriced, but after going to multiple sessions I never saw any change whatsoever. I had paid for a service of 5 sessions in which I was expected to come in every 4-6 weeks, for the reason that you will see better results within that allotted time. Amidst the pandemic, I was not able to attend these sessions. They refused to take responsibility for that, at the expense of my hair removal process and did not offer any complimentary sessions or any leniency with payments plans because of this, while other places I have been going to for different area treatments have done so. The employees could care less about your hair removal journey, they are only in it for the money. read more

Finally got back to laser after almost 4 months, and I was more than happy to continue with my treatments! I have to admit I saw much better customer service than the last few times I went before the shut down, this time I was checked in quickly the front desk was so welcoming and friendly from check in to check out, they were great and helped me book my next 2 appointments! and my nurse Liz was great! It's unfortunate to see a few bad reviews, however they are booked all the way up to the second week of August so they must be doing something right! I definitely recommend them specially when I see improvements! Good job, keep it up and see you guys in August! read more

I cannot recommend Nurse Nadia at Newlook Med Spa highly enough! I came in for laser hair removal and was a bit nervous at first, but Nadia immediately put me at ease with her warm, professional demeanor. She walked me through every step of the process and made sure I was comfortable the entire time. Her attention to detail is unmatched she's incredibly thorough and clearly knows what she's doing. New Look Skin Center is highly recommendable. The price for laser hair removal is very reasonable and the lasers are very effective. The place is so clean and highly sanitised. Front desk ladies are very helpful and very friendly. I always have a fun time with my treatment as well. Nurse Monica who treats me is very fun to be with. She is so upbeat, cheerful, friendly and very professional at the same time. Very unfriendly,rude and ignorant receptionists! My both times experiences with them were very disappointing! The girl who is not working there any more (sintia) missed many part of the concerned area of my body and I had to make another appointment and pay again!! Because I was claiming after two weeks and not before!! The second time Sheina the sweet nice girl did a great job , very precise, careful and very nice attitude. I bought a Groupon for $200 for Brazilian/Bikini laser hair removal and they included in my under arms too for no charge. I added my lip and chin & stomach for only $10 more. The staff is nice enough and efficient and I did not have to wait for more than 10-15 minutes on my first visit. Every visit after my first, I have only waited like 5 minutes. Dhara is amazing and so funny and I request to see her for all of my treatments. I was so hesitant after reading negative Yelp reviews, but this place is so nice and clean and worth every penny. read more

I dealt with severe discomfort and emotional stress from this experience. What has been even more frustrating is how the situation has been handled afterward. Instead of taking responsibility, offering a refund, or making a meaningful effort to resolve the issue, I have been met with delays and requests for additional information while my concerns remain unresolved. I did not trust them again to return to be evaluated by them but sent my PCP evaluation to them. I would strongly encourage anyone considering treatment here to ask about the experience level of the technician performing their procedure and to carefully consider whether this is the level of customer care they would expect if complications arise.

Dr. Tariq presented as kind, warm, competent. I felt immediate trust in him to do my service. Yes it was painful, but that is expected. He used ice to numb the area for a short period of time before going in. Because the eyebrow area is so small, it is tolerable. I do want to say I have a high pain tolerance. To me beauty = pain. ;) I anticipated that I would need 6 sessions 6-8 weeks apart however Dr estimated 2-3 sessions 6 weeks apart. I am 6 days post treatment today and it's gotten so much lighter. I could probably stop here but I def want to have as much red removed as possible. Right after treatment, my whole tattoo appeared gone but shortly after the redness started and I was so swollen for 2 days. Used lots of ice and bought the $25 aloe treatment gel mixture they sell.
