They lie!! I did 12 laser hair removal sessions on legs, under arms and Brazilian and still have hair. Fine, results vary. BUT!! When I signe up I financed my treatments for 2 year financing. 2 years. I get an email today staring that I have an interest balance that has me paying for 38 months and I'll be eventually paying 50% interest. What the hell. I would have never signed up for those rates. I had my first appointment at the Walnut Creek office last week. When I first walked in I wasn't impressed that one person behind the desk wasn't wearing a mask and another had it below her nose. Then someone else came in, I believe a staff member, with no mask at all and she stood chatting to them at the desk. As this was the start of Omicron, I was very concerned. This is why I only gave 4 stars. My appointment was with nurse Kim and she was lovely (5 stars for her). She was super caring and compassionate, always asking me if my treatment was too uncomfortable and if she could do anything to make it better. She was like this from beginning to end, stopped if I needed a break and never made me feel rushed. She went over all the health questions with me again to check there had been no changes and made sure to reinforce the after care instructions and gave me time for questions. Super frustrated with Laseraway. I had a morning tattoo removal appointment scheduled and the nurse refused to perform the procedure. Initially she was skeptical because the ink in the tattoo is green and green is a difficult color to remove. She took pictures and sent them off for online consultations. She was suggesting that I not perform the procedure as she couldn't guarantee the outcome. I have been undergoing removal laser removal for two years (various locations) and am completely aware there are no guarantees of outcome. I explained that I was fully aware and wanted to continue. She suggested I ask for a refund if I am not happy with results and still hesitated. I am not looking for a refund, nor am I expecting a guarantee. I want the procedure done with the hope of an outcome better than its current state. As I was adamant in continuing she then said she wasn't comfortable doing the procedure because there was evidence of sun exposure. I rescheduled a previous appointment a month prior due to this exposure. I waited thirty days from the exposure date until today's appointment. As you can see in the picture taken today the skin is not red, but has some lasting color. So, I wasted my morning driving 30 minutes each way to this appointment and the 20 minutes spent in the office as the nurse tried to convince me not have the procedure, 15 minutes writing this review and still need to reschedule. I'm not sure why she was so hesitant, but seemed nervous about performing her job. As a side note, this is my second trip to Laseraway. My first appointment was seamless. The woman I worked with during my first appointment was very efficient. She had me out of the appointment 15 minutes after my arrival. read more

Lazer away was great in regards to being open 7 days a week n so easy to schedule to get in, which is why they got my attention. My nurse Karolyn did my fill n I absolutely loved her. She took her time n I felt like she cared n knew what she was doing. She also was knowledgeable n made me wanna go back to see her. The downsidw is that u can't do more than request the same nuraw/ not schedule my appt next to see her again. The other downside is the cost at the front desk seemed elusive because I have a loan so it wasn't clear leqving without a full awareness of how much of my 'bank' i used n how much I have left in regards to bank n cost of visit. I do call back to lazer away a couples times a week to see if any appointments have opened up. None. So at this point I feel as though my first 3 treatments are null since it will be almost 11 weeks between treatments. I would like to know what management is doing to address their staffing issue or scheduling issues. I have been so nice and understanding when calling and have been told a manager would return my call to see about scheduling me and again I never got a return call. The phone tells me it will be 5 weeks till they can get me in! 5 weeks?? I told them I had an appt. today for my face and asked if they could do arms then. They said yes. I showed up for my appt. waited 15 mins after my appointment time. She asked me when I had been in the sun. I told her I hadn't. they took pictures of my arms to "send to nurse practitioner" for approval. They come back to me and say they need a full 4-5 weeks of no sun. I told them I have NOT been in the sun! How can they "see" that I've been in the sun from a text picture particularly when I tell them I haven't! This is absolute crap! I have been a client since the old building. I have had issue upon issue with them. I have came in to not having an appointment booked or being called right before my appointment to cancel when I have taken time off work. The nail in the coffin was this last Sunday when I went in for my treatment and they said they had a policy change and I couldn't be treated. No phone call or email to tell me this though. I moved to the Sac area and drove 2 hours for nothing! Basically I wasted 4 hours and a tank of gas and all I got was an oops we're sorry. All they care about is the sale of their packages and making money, which their prices aren't even that great nor competitive. My appointment was 30 minutes behind and I wasn't particularly happy since I had to leave in the next 10 minutes to pick up my son from school. In addition, it was kind of strange that I had to fill out a detailed waiver online before being seen by a consultant; especially, if you're just coming in to see whether or not you want to pay for a service here. After talking to her about what I potentially wanted, she recommended me to try out the Obagi home system ( over $500), then come back for mini-fraxel laser treatments ($?), which can be from one to three treatments; but could potentially take up to six. I am giving it a 3-star review because I feel the consideration for scheduling wasn't good. Two, the signing of rights even at a consultation didn't make me feel good. Third, since the appointment was rushed, I wasn't able to have a quality consultation. In these regards, I am hesitant to come back. read more
