I had used Lasercare in the past and had good results. So when the same printer had issues, I took it here. My printer was very old but Lasercare said they could repair it and there would be a 90 day warranty. After paying $250.+ for the repair, when I got the printer home it was still having the same issues. And the printer itself was in worse shape than when I had brought it in...the feeder tray no longer locked down because the plastic inside had broken off and the tray at the back no longer stayed closed without tape (neither of these was an issue when I brought it in). I called about getting my money back (well within the 90 day warranty period) and they told me they could only refund me $100.00 of the $250.00 I paid. Even that took well over 2 weeks for them to process! All in all, a really bad experience. read more

Avoid Laser Care! I set-up an appointment today for Friday morning to have my laser printer serviced. Today at 4:30 pm I got a message from Laser Care that they had cancelled my appointment because "they no longer service home offices." It would have been nice to have known that this morning when I set-up the appointment rather than now (end of day) and I'm out of town Thursday. When I called to find out why I was either put on hold or told one story after another. My advise -- Avoid Laser Care! Try someone else. read more

Laser Care came through again with flying colors. They came out to my workplace at Downtown L.A. to repair a paper jamming problem with a Laserjet 8150. Their service charge is roughly one-fourth of what HP charges. Score! read more

We ordered a drum unit for a printer 3 months ago, prepaid for the part and we are still waiting. We have left numerous calls and they don't call back. I strongly recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I have been a customer of this company for the last 30 years. Today I called to talk to the owner about buying a new laser printer. What I got instead, was a inept, incompetent idiot who asked me who I was, were I was from and them, is the owner expecting your call. I asked him if he was expecting to be smart some day? HP recommended them so I decided to try them. They had no tech available the same day. I asked if they had parts on hand since I needed my printer fixed ASAP. I was told they did. They told me based on my error, they should be able to fix it on the spot. The technician was 30 minutes late and had NO parts with him. I had to wait till the next day for him to go to LA and get the part. The technician was not very knowledgeable, he had to call someone to walk him thru the necessary steps. I will never use them again. I wasted 3 days with a small issue and paid them over $340 bucks! read more

They didn't service the brand of printer that we are using but did sell the toner. Most companies won't spend the time if you aren't buying one of their big ticket items. The lady on the phone still took the time to explain toner options and any other questions I had. read more

Took my old HP printer in for a repair. Paid half the cost of a replacement model and kept more bad tech stuff out of landfills.

Too bad I can't give ZERO stars since that is what this place deserves. Took my printer and was told that they charge $95 to evaluate regardless of repair! Had to call them back few days later, since no one bothered to follow up. I was told "oh good news, your printer is actually repaired and ready for pick up". I paid $95 plus parts, went home plugged it in and printer didn't work, same problem. Called them again, took it back in the same day. Had to follow up couple of days later since, again. no one bothered to follow up. I called only to find out that the part needed for repair is no longer manufactured and the printer not reparable. The icing on the cake - manages said: "we will not charge you for this second visit?!?!?!!?" What??? Well, long conversations about not repairing it in the fist place, giving me back broken devise and charging full price... Manager wouldn't blink. Really bad bad place. read more

my printer needed repair, I called them. Technician came out, what a mistake, sloppy, reckless when moving my printer. thought is was just a bad apple. so took printer in myself to avoid bad field tech. they were all about selling me toner and asked me to buy a new printer. My printer is a newer $3000 machine that just needed repair, they said they fixed it and said it was fine, made sure sold me new toner, but printer wasn't working and was making a new noise! I took back..., i could tell they were uninterested in helping. barely got it to print, noise just kept getting worse..NOW printer doesn't work! The other reviews must have been written by Laser Care itself. Laser Care cards say "Elite Partner" but don't you believe it. Laser Care failed to repair our HP color LaserJet. After four attempts, and more than a week downtime, here's what the Laser Care rep said: "Our Laser Care technicians can't diagnose what's wrong." We went to another printer repair company, and they easily and quickly diagnosed and fixed the problem - a faulty cyan cartridge! Laser Care refused to refund our money. Then worse ... much worse. Laser Care had wiped out the printer's memory, and when we called about it, they denied wiping out the memory. Laser Care said that they couldn't wipe out the memory, because to do so would have required our network password, which they didn't have. The second company's technician instantly knew that Laser Care either doesn't know what they're doing, or they didn't tell the truth. You wipe out the memory "by purging without bothering to attach the JetDirect." Needless to say, Laser Care refused to pay the $250 extra that we had to pay to correct their negligence. We reported Laser Care to Hewlett Packard and to the Better Business Bureau. read more
