These ladies are a amazing ...I have been to a few lash studios in Edmonton and I must say that Lash Affair is by far the best experience I have had!! I dont do much for myself and as a mom of 5 children i descided that this is something i wanted to do for myself and this is what i choose to do. After about 6 attempts to get amazing lashes like you see in the pictures and hundreds of dollars on lashes that didnt stay on . I descided to go to Lash Affair. My first set of lashes was amazingly light and flirty! I finally found a product and lash tech (Amber) that made me feel beautiful (not to forget to mention that my eye lashes stayed on) and the compliments I received made it totally worth the value of the product and experience! Now the Lash Affair has moved to their brand new studio it is the most relaxing procedure I think you can do for yourself!! I have been a returning customer now many times over and will continue to trust all of my eye beauty to this company!! I would definiatly recommend Lash Affair to everyone who wants to either give an amazing gift to someone they love or just to make themseves feel gorgeous!! I've decided to finally tackle my to-review list and when I came to the Lash Affair page, I was shocked to see that there are only two reviews, but then I noticed that there are 46 filtered reviews! That's so not cool because the only two that are being shown are mediocre. I want to start out by saying that I've been seeing the owner, Courtney, since day one. She was the first person I ever had apply eyelash extensions for me (back in 2009) and since we have so many of the same interests we became instant friends. I cannot even begin to explain how incredibly proud of Courtney Buhler and everything that she has created. She is an inspirational woman, mother, entrepreneur, lash technician and friend. As a business owner, Courtney is dedicated to staying on top of the latest trends in the eyelash and eyebrow industry and she is always ready to discuss any new ideas or techniques you may have heard of from mink eyelashes to 3D, 6D, eye brow lacing, growth serum, eye lash perms, eye lash tints, permanent makeup, and more. Her attention to detail is incredible and she has really made sure that all of her staff share her dedication to quality. When I was home last July I was a model for one of the newest lash technicians who was just learning the 3D lash application technique. Of course it took her much longer than an experienced technician might have taken, but the quality of her work was amazing. Courtney was close by the whole time offering her expert feedback and guidance to ensure her newest lash technician was doing everything perfectly. Okay.. so first thing about me to know is I am PICKY! I love getting pampered, and I shop around to make sure I am getting the best all around deal/service/results. Once I find somewhere, I am loyal for pretty much life... and it took me a while but I finally found Lash Affair!! I had been to countless places to have my lashes done, and experienced some completely awful lashes, and some that were okay but I wasn't thrilled. I live on the northside, and that's why I put off going to Lash Affair for so long (deep south), but they are easy off the Henday and OH BOY are they worth the drive! My lashes have always been super stubby and blonde... and I didn't want anything insanely over the top but did want them really full with a bit of length added. I saw Emily at Lash Affair and right off the bat could tell this place was different. I was greeted with a complimentary latte, and a lash menu... and then as I was getting them done was tucked in with a fuzzy blanket, and listened to soothing music. I actually fell asleep (which has NEVER happened before at other places!). I completely trusted her, and the results are AMAZING! The lashes I got were absolutely 100% what I wanted. With getting my lashes done at other places I had my eyes burn/itch etc, but here my eyes were completely comfortable and I couldnt feel a thing! Lash Affair definitely does the fullest lashes in the city and they really know what is going to look the best on you! At other places I was going back for fills every 2-2.5 weeks, but with Lash Affair lashes I go every 3.5 weeks... wow! I am a client for life and look forward to my monthly visits!! Absolutely love Lash Affair! My lashes are by far my best feature, thanks to Lash Affair! I had tried lash extensions somewhere else in the city (a trusted lash lounge that specialized in lashes!!) and had a horrible reaction. It turned out the lashes were glued too close to my eyes. I went to Lash Affair after having my other ones removed. The owner Courtney is super sweet, and she personally did my lashes after hearing about the horrible experience I had elsewhere. From the moment I walked in all the girls were super sweet! I read through an information sheet that answered any question I could possibly have. I then took a look at their Lash Menu and picked a style that I wanted. Courtney went through everything with me including all the product they use, and why... the process and exactly what she would be doing, and the aftercare. I never once wondered what was going on during the application.. and I felt nothing (unlike my experience at the first place!). The whole process took about an hour, and my lashes looked fuller than I could have ever imagined! Courtney explained its because they put extensions on even the little baby hairs growing in, giving the illusion that you have more lashes than you knew you did! I have been back now about 4 times for fills and I am always treated wonderfully, and most importantly the results are great! All the staff is super knowledgeable and sweet. I fully trust my eyes to Lash Affair and no where else. My girlfriend also had a LashLift and loves the results!! They are great at everything! read more

I regulary wear mascara and like to indulge in a quality strip lash as well. I wanted something more dramatic that had lasting results and came across Lash Affair. I did my homework and thoroughly reviewed all their information (photos, customer reviews, maintenance guidelines ect.) and decided to give them a try. First of all...this company is "booked solid" several weeks in advance. As a consumer that speaks volumes. It took approx two weeks for me to get in, and it was well worth the wait. The studio is super comfortable, very clean and relaxing. You are offered gourmet Keurig coffee or bottled water while you peruse a lash menu and company information. There are warm, soft blankets to wrap up in while your extensions are being applied. It took approx. an hour for the application of a full set of lashes and Courtney was so gentle you could fall asleep. (No kidding!!) Courtney is a perfectionist and the end result was stunning!! The one suggestion I have is, invest in the "sealant". This stuff is amazing!! It truly keeps you lashes looking top notch, and it "significantly" strengthens the adhesive bond. At $60.00 it's not cheap. But the bottle will last you a "very" long time. In the long run it's not expensive and it's an important maintenance tool if you plan on keeping your lash extensions. Overall, I am extremely impressed with Lash Affair and my lash extensions and am looking forward to my next visit. I highly recommend Lash Affair. You wont be disappointed! read more

I got my first set of lashes after needing a quick fix to how long makeup was taking me. I'm a busy full time professional and hated having to spend 45 minutes showering, doing hair and makeup so I figured I would give it a shot. I LOVED the lashes. It was something to get used to, but so worth it. The girls were patient and kind with me, and I enjoyed having a break by just laying back and having fun. I went to enjoy the social atmosphere, and was so happy that the girls were 'normal' like me, and they weren't stuffy and stuck up. The lashes lasted me many months, including my trip to Fiji, and then to New York. While in New York I had people compliment me on the quality and how good they still looked over two months later. I let the lashes naturally shed out so I never looked 'funny', and I made sure to use the liquid to seal the lashes as recommended by the girls. If you're looking for an easy way to make your lashes look awesome - and wake up bright eyed I suggest checking these ladies out! read more

Absolutely gorgeous results! Lash Affair had been suggested to me by a friend when I had experienced really bad lash extensions somewhere else. I was hesitant to try them again, but after reading great reviews for Lash Affair I thought it was worth another shot! I went to Lash Affair and they had WAY more options than anywhere else I had seen! They carry silk, and mink lash extensions and then just the normal type too. I went with silk, and I am so happy I did! They were full, dramatic, and beyond my expectations! My technician Hilary was so sweet, and I loved the atmosphere at Lash Affair too. I can go 4 weeks between fills and my lashes look great even through me swimming lots this summer, and working out. My friend that suggested them in the first place goes there for LashLifts cause she has really long lashes already and she loves it too! Her natural lashes are always curled perfectly. I am sooooooooooooooo happy with my lashes from Lash Affair! I just got them done there, and the girls were so sweet and the whole procedure was relaxing. I honestly didn't even know that they were doing anything until they were finished! I did have a friend who had eyelash extensions on, and I had asked her where she went and she told me to go to lash affair because she had been to other places and didn't find a good place until she found them. I really enjoyed my hot chocolate and can't wait to keep up my lashes. I did get the sealant too, to make sure that I can keep them as long as possible. I noticed that this morning after my shower, I just put on the sealant and didn't even need to use mascara! I love it so much because I don't have time in the mornings to do a whole routine. I went here about 2 weeks ago on a Friday. Best service by far. I was iffy on the place as it's in same location as the non-doctor place that was in the news for shady medical spa. Anyways, I go in and get a good vibe..i ask if I can have brows done and a lash lift. I luck out and they have an opening in an hour and half. I come back. Nothing but awesome service. I can remember who did my services..but she is amazing! I was nervous about lash lift as I had gotten my eyelashes tinted before and even though I kept my eyes closed...it still burned. Now you can understand that she will be putting on perming solution and then tint... it was painless no burning at all. I then had my brows shaped/waxed and we forgo the tint, instead she used just brow powder.. i am still in love with them..even though i cant do the powder as well as she did. I will be back again to keep up with my brows..and get my eyelashes done as a treat. Well worth the money!!!! read more

I absolutely love my lashes!! I am so busy everyday and the fact that I can wake up in the morning and not have to put mascara on is amazing! I went to see Courtney in the Spring to "try out" some lashes for the summer. I have never had so many compliments! In fact, on the flight to my high school reunion last month, I was chatting to the young fellow beside me and told him where I was going...he actually asked me if it was my 10th high school reunion and he was surprised when I said no....it's my 30th! I truly believe it was the lashes!!! I recommend Courtney as your lash technician...she does such a beautiful job...they look natural, feel fabulous and I can never give them up! I have been going to Lash Affair for 8 months now and absolutely love them!! I have also been to Bizou Lash, L. Lash Bar, Tonic Spa, and Spasation for lash extensions and nowhere else compares to Lash Affair. The girls there are very knowledgeable, and have all been doing lashes for years. I first got lashes put on for my vacation to maui, but was hooked after I looked in the mirror. Like I said I had been to so many other places and Lash Affair lashes are the fullest, most stunning lashes I have had by far! I have seen both Emily and Courtney and they are both amazing. I easily keep them up and only need fills every 3.5 weeks to keep them as full as possible. I used to wear strip lashes just for the evening if I was going out, but never thought possible that I could have full long lashes ALL the time!! I booked with Courtney and went to her studio and was so impressed with how comfortable the whole session was! I couldn't even tell she was doing anything at all for the whole time I was there! After she was finished, I looked in the mirror and was amazed at how natural and full my new set of lashes was!! I now recommend all of my clients (I'm a boudoir photographer) to go to Courtney for full lashes to get the BEST out of their photo shoot. I feel like I wake up pretty! I got my first set of lashes 3 weeks before my wedding in july because i was skeptical and wanted to make sure they would be perfect for the big day and it turns out they were even better! My wedding pictures looked AMAZING in large part due to the lashes and 5 months later i am still loving them! I wouldnt recommend having them for an extended period of time BUT for the summer, vacations or any special occasion, wedding, grad, christmas party or honeymoon, i would HIGHLY recommend these lashes as the ease of wear and use is fantastic!! I had eyelash extensions years ago so I had a bit of an idea what to expect. I am pleased to report I have been pretty pleased with my Lash Affair lashes so far! Just got them put on last week so its early days but so far they are lovely. I seem to remember last time (quite a few years ago) and with a different salon, they didnt last as well. I also appreciated the extensive information shared regarding eyelash growth cycle and what to expect (shedding) etc. I think that helps a ton. I have received tons of compliments and I find I wear a lot less makeup now too. I already have my fill booked and looking forward keeping these babies for a while! read more

I have worn lash extensions for over two years, and always had Xtreme Lashes which I loved, but they are quite pricey. I was interested in trying a different spot for lashes and came across Lash Affair. I went for my first appointment and was absolutely blown away! Lash Affair lashes are the fullest, thickest lashes I have ever tried! With the Xtreme lashes I always felt the need for mascara, but with Lash Affair lashes I am not even tempted to put mascara on them as they are so full and volumized! Lash Affair has been my go-to place for lashes for the last 9 months. I was referred by a friend, and am so in love with my lashes! I get the "Mariah" look, which is dramatic, but not too over the top. They totally suit me and I trust my eyes only to Lash Affair and the girls there. I have seen friends lashes that they get done elsewhere and it always reconfirms that I went to the best place right off the bat! The only thing I will say that could be better is if they had more staff as it's usually hard to get in, but I pre-book all my fills so I know I have a spot! I LOVE the online booking! read more

The customer service here is phenomenal!! If you're not happy they do whatever it takes to make you happy. The environment is nice and so relaxing. The lashes are pricy but I guess you pay for quality. The main thing that attracted me here was it will not damage your natural eye lashes, I was tired of having badly damaged lashes from cheaper salons that also did nails or hair etc or glued on "clumped" lashes and still claimed that it would not damage your natural lashes (they do). I've only been able to afford the 1d but I am hoping for a 3D set sometime soon ! read more

I was lucky enough to have my first eyelash extensions done at Lash Affair. After doing research and reading reviews I was nervous to say the least. Leanne, the manager, was great at answering any questions I had. The lounge itself was very relaxing and well put together. My tech, Paulina, was attentive enough to notice when I was getting cold and covered me with a blanket. The location itself was very easy to find and quite convenient coming off the Anthony Henday.
