I've always envied my girlfriend's lash extensions. I had never realized what a big effect lashes could have until I noticed she never wore eye makeup but still looked Hollywood glam. I finally decided to splurge for myself. Google and Yelp reviews suggested the Lash Lounge was best in Tucson. Their price for the full set ($89 with Selena) seemed reasonable and they were able to set me up with an appointment by the best week. My first impression when I walked in was that the salon was cute and clean. I had to wait about 15 minutes past my appointment time but that wasn't too bad considering their waiting room is comfortable and they offer you water. Selena led me to a private room and I laid on an incredibly soft cot lined with fleece blankets. It was so comfortable that I'm certain people fall asleep during their visits. I know I did. After anchoring my bottom lashes with tape that was almost on my eye balls, the lash application process took about two hours and was for the most part relaxing. However at some points the lash glue would seep into my eyes and sting causing me to tear up like crazy. I asked the technician if that was normal and she mentioned it happens to some people especially during the initial visit because we are just not used to having implements so close to our eyes. Makes sense. The final clean up is removing glue and lashes that inadvertently end up where they don't belong. It was hard to open my eyes at that point having had them closed for a few hours but Selena was efficient. Overall I like my lashes but I think I'm going to go more dramatic for the fill in four weeks. read more

My left eye has strange curlier, or more screwed up, than usual lashes. As such, getting lash extensions on them is not a task that should be taken lightly. Let me say this, had I not been out of the country for my wedding two days after my appointment, I would have come back and had the left side redone. The technician glued extensions to lashes that were so unruly they fell off within 48 hours. After reexamination, there were other lashes that weren't so unruly that seemed (in my humble/non-professional opinion) to be better candidates to glue extensions to. This experience was unique to this one appointment, my precious extensions have never completely gone AWOL and fallen off. Anyway, I used mascara on the corner lashes and thank god my husband still married me- whew. read more

Zully is the best! I had just moved to town and was looking for a new lash person. I ended up getting my lashes done at another place and had a horrible experience!! I went to the Lash lounge right after and asked them to help! Zully was so sweet and helpful. Her schedule was full, but offered to come in the next day on her day off! I received a pumpkin peel facial ($37 Groupon regularly $65.) The location is excellent, at Craycroft and Speedway. The Lash Lounge offers facials, waxing, and eyelash extensions. The rooms are very nice, with high ceilings and very comfortable tables and sheets. The blankets were so plush I wanted to curl up and have a nap after my service. That being said the walls were thin so sound travels. I have to say the Groupon price was exceptional for the service. Making appointments is a bit strange, you go to the website and provide your name, number, and desired appointment time and then you receive a call back to confirm. I suppose it's a small operation and they cannot staff full time. It's a bit strange, but the staff was very accommodating when they called to reschedule me. Bree was my aesthetician and I would recommend her in a heartbeat. She was efficient and friendly, though not invasive. We chatted throughout my service and I felt she was very attentive to my skin needs. Poor Bree though, I was short on tip so I had to run across the street to Walgreens for extra cash. I didn't realize I wouldn't be able to put a tip on my debit card, so remember to bring cash if you're using a Groupon. I would absolutely purchase another service at the Lash Lounge. read more

I tried this place because the girl that was amazing and did mine before moved! I received a free lash service email and decided to try it! Big mistake! From the time that I spoke to them over the phone for the appointment, I said I didn't want anything dramatic, even during the intake before they begin the appointment they ask what you'd prefer...again, I said "not dramatic".....what did I get? A dramatic that I didn't want and had to lay there for 3.5 hours to achieve ( it wouldve been 4 hours if I hadn't told her I was done) Secondly, during the phone appointments and confirmation calls, no one failed to tell me I would be with someone whose training and it will take 4 hours!! It was a 4 hours I lost as I hadn't planned on being there. I'm sorry, I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone read more

I have had my lashes done for the past 4 years. Due to moving into town I figured it was worth finding a new studio! I had heard amazing things about lash lounge so I decided to give it a try. It was very comfortable and a nice atmosphere and the front receptionist was very friendly but that's about the only good thing. After laying down it took my lash girl about 20 minutes to get started and find everything she needed. She was very very slow and about half way through she got up and left without saying anything and was gone for another 10 minutes. I head her stopping to type on her phone. I heard her drinking and eating (multiple times would burp while doing my lashes which was extremely unpleasant). The end result of my eye lashes was very disappointing, yes I got a classic set but they were all gone in a week. read more

GROUPON lured me in, and I wish I would've known the extreme discomfort that came with applying false lashes (when done incorrectly).But hey, maybe I'm the exception. Ladies, from the very beginning my right eye felt like it was burning and scratchy. I informed the girl doing my lashes, and she said my eye may be burning from the glue seeping into my eye, and it should go away by the end of the day. That was not the case, 3 days past and I purchased some itch relief eyedrops and the symptoms subsided somewhat. I still had lingering issues upto 5 days after. I understand beauty is pain, but this was more than that. Bottom line, I don't care how great a cosmetic service looks afterwards, if the customers level of discomfort is unbarable DAYS AFTER the service, then I would consider that a failure. read more

If I can give zero stars, I would. This is the most unprofessional place I have ever had the disadvantage of speaking with. I live in CA and just graduated law school and took the bar exam so my sister decided to get myself, my mother and her a facial as a gift for finishing the bar exam. I misunderstood my sister about the time of our appointment, we got several calls and voicemails from lash lounge. So I called to let them know of the confusion. Needless to say these people were so unprofessional and rude and snarky. I got eyelash extensions but they turned out awful, by the next day lashes were falling out consistently. I paid way too much for these lashes in the first place, just for me to look like a mess. When I called they were very rude, insisting it was my fault, even though I don't touch my face, I don't even wash it. I wasted so much money and I am very disappointed in the way that my situation was handled, being told to just take off my eyelashes after spending $190. Not cool. read more

All of the ladies at Lash Lounge do a great job because they receive excellent training from the owner (Zuli) but Breanna was my main technician and she was amazing! I made an appointment here for full set of lash extensions. It was my first time getting extensions and I told the girl I wanted a natural look as I don't usually wear make up and just wanted a slightly glam version of myself. After 2 hours and $200 I looked in the mirror and nearly died. I looked like Tammy Faye Baker. My lashes were so long, thick, and curly they hit my eyebrows and looked ridiculous. The woman didn't even ask how I like them. I got in my car and immediately started calling around to find someone to fix them. I think the technique and application was well done but the consult was awful and she clearly did not listen to my needs. I had even shown her 2 different pics of looks I liked, both very natural. She ended up using D curl and volume lashes throughout. To give a super dramatic glam look to someone requesting a natural look and never had lashes before. BTW, I had never written a yelp review before this one. Just be warned to make certain you ask a lot of questions and really show what you want before getting these done. I went to the Lash Lounge after having a less than satisfactory experience at another salon. Breanna did a new-client fill for me and her 1 hour fill looked so much fuller and better than the 2.5 hour full set I received a week before that. The lashes have stayed on very well, even when I wasn't very gentle with them while I was vacationing in Playa del Carmen for a week. Even after 2 weeks my lashes still look better than the full set I received so it's needless to say that I am extremely happy. I would recommend to anyone! read more

I have gone there for over a year. Today they screwed up my appt and I was disiplined for the error they made. I felt belittled like a child. Another concern is not service, or how you treat a customers who has been there for over a yr and brought in lots of referrals. Other concerns is they have a high turn around with staff which is often uncomfortable, Lash quality not great, but I stayed out of dedication. Talk about amazing!!!! Jessica did a fabulous job and unlike the place I went to in NYC where they limit the amount of lashes they do,lash lounge does every single lash you have. Horrible. 1st, they messed up my appointment. They called to confirm my appointment 2 hours before they THOUGHT it was, and I was at work. Corrected up that mistake. Then when I went to the place, they couldn't find my Groupon because there is no computer. I've done lashes since 2011 - 2014. I told the gal I wanted 11mm D curl and she talked me into 13mm C curl. I choose 11mm D curl for a reason, 13mm is too long for my wispy lashes and D curl cuz I have a mono lid and need more curl to see the extensions. So because the 13mm is too long for my wispy lashes, now my real lashes are breaking off left and right. Plus the lash extensions were applied sideways and wonky. The gal also left me in the middle of my appointment to do an "emergency" waxing. (Probably due to their poor booking system.) I have a Groupon left for a fill and my appointment was last Sunday. I never got a confirmation call. I wasn't going to return anyways. Clearly these ladies are unprofessional, disorganized and not very knowledgeable. Save your money and don't go here. read more

It did take about almost 3 hours for the entire service, and Breanna was my aesthetician, and if you take one thing away from this review, it is this..use Breanna. She kept the conversation going, was very friendly and professional, and was gentle, which was awesome when they are working so close to your eyeball. read more

I needed my lashes done this year for a family party and no joke, the lashes fell off within a week. They were pricey too, around $160. I took care of them, etc and they did not last at all..I've had my lashes done before, same place and technician, and like someone else on here, I went to the beach with them and they lasted longer and even had enough for a refill. And also, that time was cheaper? This time, it was more expensive and did not last? HUH? Confused. I have to admit though, the girl does a really pretty job, but I just wish they would have lasted longer. Also, during the actual service, she pulled the tape really fast and it left red marks beneath my eyes. If this is your first time getting eye lashes, just be aware that if you do not continue to get refills, your eyelashes look thin, just FYI. read more

I still go to Lash Lounge (outstanding! ) and Zully is the best! I have zero problems, she does great work. My lash extensions last about 3 1/2 weeks, I could go longer but I like them full. It is normal for them to drop, it goes with your hair growth cycle-she attaches to individual lash hairs- they drop on their own schedule, mine consistently seems to be 3 1/2 weeks. I stick to oil free make-up products on my lashes so the glue stays good. You cannot tell I have extensions on at all! It's a nice luxury, I don't need mascara, I thought it would be short lived and now it's been 6 years! Love my lashes!! read more

I had a very bad experience in getting a full lash applied here. I came in to get a removal from another shady business only to feel made to take advantage of. I was charged $40 for a simply removal and quoted two different prices for a full set. First $200+ and when I expressed that was more than I could pay they came back with $100. The only thing I can say that is positive about my new lashes by the Lash Lounge is that the set was applied neatly. But for me spending $140 here I left looking like I had bought some .99 store mascara. No volume....no length whatsoever! The very next day I went in to ask for a few long lashes to be added only to be made to feel like someone in line at a soup line for the third time in one day. Mind you I even tipped the tech because I believe in paying someone for there services...which was another $10. Bottom line is I felt scammed and belittled by these snotty stuck up women in the Lash Lounge. The literally told me they would do nothing to satisfy me without paying more one day later. If I could post a picture you would see this is not an exaggeration and I would never recommend going here! read more
