Woke up one morning and lost my mucus plug.. So you know what that means... I just had to go see Lina to be beautified for my baby's arrival. LOL (I know.. Priorities before going in labor) I got a volume set and I can't express how amazing and tedious lash bar's work is. They take their time and hand make each lash to create a natural look. I've been going to the La Jolla location for about 3 months and have been absolutely hooked! I get Volumes done and my lash technician, Lina Mai, is an absolutely rockstar she walked me through the whole process the first time I went in, as well as the after care to make sure my lashes were well maintained up till my next appointment. She is incredibly friendly, professional and careful when applying the lashes. She's so gentle that I can barely feel her applying them. I can't recommend this place enough. I get my lashes professionally done at least 4 times a year plus maintenance. The Lashbar was great to fit me in. The shop was trendy and nice enough. The staff was professional and friendly. But the bond barely lasted 1 week! I've never had lashes fall off so fast. A $200 set vanished in 6 days!! I've had better quality products used and more spa experiences at salons with at least 20% lower rates. No bueno. read more

This was my first time at lash bar and I got my lashes done by Annie! I've gotten lashes before and had stopped because it irritated my eyes which has resulted into the lashes not lasting very long. But since I came to Annie, my experience with lashes has now changed. I thought I wouldn't be able to have lash extensions because my lashes are straight and the previous lash tech wasn't able to incorporate my real lashes and the extensions so it came out weird. But Annie did a really great job with blending the extensions onto my straight lashes! I also have no irritation with my lashes, feels like they're not even there! I recommend going to Annie if you're looking to try lash extensions for them first time. And even if it's not your first, Annie definitely has changed my mindset of not being able to get lash extensions. 10/10 will go back to Annie! read more

I got my lashes done right before covid hit and I am dying to get them done again. The experience was so amazing. I felt immediately comfortable because the place was so clean. I was so comfortable with my lash stylish as she put me at ease with her thorough consultation. I immediately fell into a deep nap and woke up with amazing lashes. My lashes lasted for over three weeks. I can't wait for things to go back to normal so I can come in every two weeks. I never write reviews, but after my experience at Lashbar La Jolla, I just had to. I've visited several lash places, including three other Lashbar locations. Some were bad experiences and some were pretty darn good. However, my experience at Lashbar La Jolla has been the best, hands down. First of all, it's in a great location. There are plenty of restaurants, grocery stores, and a movie theater nearby. So it's convenient to get your lashes done and run errands afterwards! Secondly, it has a great atmosphere. The interior design is lovely and the customer service is wonderful. It's so nice to be offered a glass of lychee champagne before an appointment. Everyone is always friendly and it's a very comfortable experience. Lastly (and perhaps most importantly), are the lashes themselves. As I mentioned above, I've had my lashes done at several different locations by several different lash techs for about a year now. Lina does the best job of them all! I've had some lash techs do a hasty job or give me a different lash style than I asked for or they've given me too long of lashes. Lina has always taken the time to ensure my lashes are healthy, full and exactly to my specifications. Unlike my other techs, she noticed my right eye loses lashes quicker than my left eye and always takes care to make sure both lashes are equally full. Never any unpleasant surprises or bad experiences with her. I highly recommend Lina! Overall, this is a wonderful lashbar and everyone should check them out! read more

Love lashbar in general and when I saw there was a lashbar open in La Jolla, I had to go since it's so close to my residence. Sicorra was so sweet ( and had great music playing) and did an amazing job on my classic lash fill during my little lash nap. My right eye lashes fall out a lot faster than my left and after I got them done this time, they stayed on longer than usual! I love how the lash extensions they use are very natural and light because a lot of other places I've tried out before used very heavy/thick lashes which thinned out my natural lashes. I will definitely be coming back for my fills and sets at the LJ location. read more

I got the keratin eyelash curl. I've had this done several times by other companies. Some larger & some smaller businesses. This was by far the most expensive, least satisfying & the only one that did not darken my lashes. PS the music was very annoying & I really, really did not appreciate the cussing in the songs. I will not be back & as much as I HATE giving bad reviews I am going to have to let others know not to get their keritin eyelash curl done here. I was even given a 10% discount & even with that, this still was the most expensive keratin lash curl I have ever done. read more

It was my very first time getting my lashes done, so I was very afraid of getting my eye poked at or a chance of an infection. But despite all my fears, Annie made my experience completely different from what I had imagined. She made me very comfortable and always reassured me that she'll prevent my fears from happening, along with giving me the best experience I'll ever have. Annie constantly checked up on me to see if my eyes or face were getting irritated due to my psoriasis, and made sure that I wasn't having any tingling sensation going on at all. In addition, before she even began my appointment she asked if I had sensitive skin in case she had to use a different type of glue that can accommodate it! At one point during the appointment, I fell asleep and flinched, waking myself up, then proceeded to grab Annie's arm in fear. Honestly, I was very scared that I, in any way, had startled Annie. But she remained unphased and stayed professional. Judging from that reaction, she honestly is great lash tech and has a great future ahead of her. I would highly recommend going to Annie to get your lashes done! :) Thanks for making me look amazing! read more
