Found this place for a last minute lash refill! I'm a new customer and was able to make a same-day appointment on a Sunday! Thomas was so nice on the phone, GREAT customer service. They have the best snacks at their salon too omg such a nice place I swear?!! Demi did my lashes and I love them! It took about an hour & fifteen minutes. She didn't ask me a ton of questions so I was able to relax while getting my lashes re-done; I ended up falling asleep!! Thats how relaxed I was!!! I was really hopeful because of all of the positive reviews and easy booking process, but when I first saw my lashes after the appointment I wanted to cry. I had asked for natural lashes and the result was extremely unnatural with very dark lashes and way too long. I'm not sure if maybe it varies more based on the technician and she was very nice, but the result was a little bit embarrassing for me to even wear to work the next day and I had to make an emergency appointment with my old lash studio in NYC to fix it. There was just no way I could go to work with these lashes. Update: immediately heard from them and was able to get a refund. appreciate the customer service. My lash master - Megan is my go to for awhile now. She's super sweet and fun to talk to while she's completing my lashes. This place is super organized in their booking system. They will remind you by text when your next appointment is, and then during your appointment day you can respond to them by quickly saying either you're running late or help me find parking. Their parking spots are very limited in the plaza where their store is (look for Lashes by Ann sign), but you have plenty of spots across the street. I've never had to wait more than 5 minutes for Megan. They are so good at staying on time for their customers! Everyone is friendly there! I have asian lashes, so they're thin and no volume at all. So I pay extra to get fuller lashes. I go in every 3-4 weeks to get my refill and they still look beautiful till then. The place I go to, Lux Nails, does a better job in my opinion, and it's not as expensive. No new customer even gets a discount at all here. And they charge $120! And if you check in with Yelp you only get a $5 discount... LOL... I am at a loss for words. LOL I'm sorry, let me be more accurate... $119 for a full set..... Where in the world do they do that at? Unless it's super natural hair from the most exclusive animal in the world... Why on Earth am I paying $119 for synthetic mink lashes? It makes no sense to me. The people are very very nice I'll definitely give them that... Very hospitable... I'll give him that as well... But, I will never come here again simply for the fact that it's way way way way way overpriced and the place I go to, as stated before, does an equally or much better job for Less. I highly recommend Ann and her team. I have been getting lash extensions for over 10 years and always in search of a lash salon with good consistency and customer support. Lashes by Ann is the place! I have been with them for over 5 years now and always satisfied with the consistency of how my lashes turned out. Due to seasonally changes, sometimes my lashes would fall out quicker and sometimes they will last longer, but it's all normal and different for everyone. They also pay good attention to details and make adjustments depending on how my natural lashes are doing. At the beginning of July, my dad was diagnosed with terminal cancer and he had a few months left. This place is slowly declining for me. The service/product of what you get depending who you see is great however it comes at a cost. From the time you set your appointment to the day of your appointment and walking in, be prepared to get blasted with text messages about your initial appointment, a text asking you to confirm your appt after you had just booked your appointment, if you don't confirm you will get more texts on top of that, a reminder text on the day of your appointment (which is fine), a text about parking (because out of all of their 12+ lash techs and their clients, they only have two parking spots out front so you will get a text on where else you should park), a text if you're two min late which most will get due to the fact that there's no parking and your walking from the gated place next door, they'll call you on top of that to ask where you are if it's five min past. Like seriously? Have some common tact. Then another text after you check in. I've gotten 10+ texts from them in under two days. And lately (my favorite one) A text if they can change your SET appointment hours to minutes before coming in because they have a random opening last minute. They've tried to change my appointment around 3 times in one day when I already had my day set. The pushiness is a little bit much and overwhelming so can we please stop asking clients if they can come in the morning if they already have an evening appointment?! Our schedules don't revolve around yours!!! They've done this almost every appointment now and it defeats the purpose of having an appointment schedule in place if they keep asking you to change it. Not only have the prices increased due to inflation but now they put in an APPOINTMENT CHARGE OF $2 For basically doing the same thing using the same system they've had. So this charge is ridiculous if you don't even get to stick with your original appointment. Not everyone is going to move their schedule around for you. But do you get a reimbursement for helping them out by coming in a little earlier ? No! I find myself getting more stressed and anxious coming to my appointments having to speed up bc I don't want to get a text or phone call cause I can't find parking in their assigned two parking spots, then get there and find out they aren't even ready for me. This is so much stress and gives such anxiety for a service that's supposed to be relaxing. Just because of all this I may go somewhere else or stop going cause it's not worth it if they're going to start asking clients to move their schedule around for THEIR sake of making more money. (If the bottom half of your eye ever turns red and becomes sore after an application, it's probably because of the gel pads). She does an amazing job - listens to exactly what you're going for and will give you suggestions too. Natalie is great to talk to and always so professional yet personable at the same time! I am def addicted because her lash work is so beautiful and natural looking for every day. I did ask her to do something more "fancy" for a wedding I was in - and I got SO many compliments! So she can do natural or do something a little more extravagant - but always willing to work with what you want! I also have to mention that you literally can't feel her fingers on your lashes while she's working, that's how good she is, there have been a couple instances where I was relaxed and took a nap. I've never written more than one review for a business before, but felt compelled to do because of how great Lashes by Ann truly is. I have gone back several times now for full sets and refill appointments, so I will also talk about how the lashes are. First off, after my initial review of this place. Thinh texted me to say thanks and Ann also thanked me in person for a detailed and informative feedback. Then they actually took my suggestions and ordered speakers for their appointment rooms. I was very pleasantly surprised! This last time I visited, they played soft classical music during my appointment which I loved! If you are like me, you may be concerned about what your lashes might look like after the extensions have fallen off and if there is an awkward transition period before your real lashes grow back. This was actually my #1 concern that held me back from going sooner. I had seen a friend get pretty dramatic extensions and had also very noticeable gaps in her lashes as they started to fall off. This has not been my experience at all! I always ask for natural lashes, they gradually fall off and over time become thinner and thinner. I did let it completely fall off once over a 6 week period. Towards the end, your lashes will lose the original thickness and volume but you may still have some left which helps a little with length. However, no noticeable and unattractive gaps to worry about. If you ask for dramatic lashes, it may be different. I have gotten the 2 week refill several times. In my experience. my lashes still look pretty decent 2-3 weeks after. This has made my morning routine much faster. I don't wear makeup during the week but my lash extensions definitely helps make me feel better and less 'bare'. I did end up having to cancel my appointment very last minute due to car trouble. Thinh was very helpful and kind about the situation. I texted him a couple of hours before my appointment to let him know. He helped me reschedule without making me feel guilty. Overall, my opinion for this place remains the same. I only wish more businesses can operate the way they do. You can tell they take pride in what they do and I feel good spending my money even though it is definitely a luxury item to keep up with. I've been with Ann since she was solo and it is so nice to see her expand so much at this location. She truly deserves it from all her hard work. Sadly, now she's super popular and I can never get an appointment with her! Haha but its OK because all her workers has been great. I have had great experiences with Tina. She, without fail, always asks to see if you want the same thing done to your lashes as before or do something different, whether it be longer or shorter or a different style. Always so accommodating. Ann and Thinh are the sweetest ever. When you have an appointment, you get a confirmation text message and a reminder as well! Booking an appointment is super easy, you can call, text, or book online. Great for the busy individual. The interior itself is very quaint, quiet & homey and there's always a bunch of snacks, candy, coffee, and water for customers. Best lashes I've ever had. Period. I live in dry, cold Colorado. When I came to visit my family in hot, humid Houston my lashes fell out in a few days. I called around and this place was the most accommodating and gave me helpful, knowledgeable information about lashes that I didn't know. I'm so eternally grateful they squeezed me in. Such a quick full set, and they lasted so long. They even fell out evenly so as the weeks went by they still looked good as they thinned. I WENT BACKPACKING FOR A WEEK AND LOOKED PERFECT THE WHOLE TIME. After visiting family, I went back to Colorado and spent a week outside, backpacking and summiting 5 14,000 ft peaks. Some of the most grueling hiking I've done.... and my lashes looked amazing from start to finish. I had them a few more days before filling. I think if I took good care of them, they could have lasted a month! Oh! And!! The studio is located in a fairly quiet area of Montrose on the second floor of a nude office building. They have 2-4 reserved spots in the parking lot but all when full when I arrived, so I parked on a side street. When I entered the studio I immediately noticed large it was and that it was nicely decorated it was for the holidays. Tina made my lashes look phenomenal! I have a few bald spots from where some were torn out by glue a few days back (don't ask) and she covered them completely and did everything I requested.
