Last time her employee forgot that I have an appointment, luckily she rushed to the salon in a short time. Today I even checked in with her 2 hours before my appointment. Then it turns out that I have to wait there for another 40mins because they have another costumer's appointment messed up with mine. I wish I can keep supporting Yumi's business, but I got really tight schedule and no longer want to waste my time waiting.

It was easy peasy. When you drive to this location, their shops look like an apartment structure. Don't be fooled like I was and drive past it. I circled around and easily found it. Lee was super nice when I arrived. Since it takes about an hour plus to get the eyelash extensions, she asked if I needed to visit the ladies room first. I put my bag down and she put a blanket on top of me. She was really nice in putting me at ease about getting eyelash extensions since it was my first time doing it. It initially felt a little awkward since she puts tape to hold your eyelash and all that in place. She was very gentle and delicate and it never hurt throughout the entire process. She also periodically checked in to see if I was okay, I really appreciated that. I got the mink eyelashes and asked that they look as natural as possible. She did a fantastic job and I loved it. There was a slight sting when she put on the glue but the sensations subsided eventually. I even fell asleep while she was putting on the extensions. One thing that I totally appreciated about Lee's services was that she sanitized her hands before she got started. When she went to answer the phone, after she came back, she sanitized them again. Sometimes people forget and then they go about touching your face. I really thought that was a) very hygienic b) professional of her to do so. After she removed the tape, she gave me a gentle massage on my face and I was off. It felt like I had something in my right eye at first but that nuisance feeling went away. Even taking off old lashes is easy and relaxing. When I went to A+ iLash they pick and pull the old lashes off, but at MIA's they apply a gel that doesn't sting or itch. After a few minutes the old lashes come right off. I love that she gives my lashes a little lash bath each time I come in before starting on a new set or even a fill.
