Unfortunately, this ended up being the worst lash studio experience I've had. For my first appointment, I requested a light, wispy set and explained that I wanted as many of my natural lashes filled as possible while keeping the fans light and natural. Vicky was nice and attentive to the style I wanted, but afterward I noticed quite a few natural lashes had been left unlashed. She also seemed rushed toward the end because her next client was already waiting. I contacted the studio the next day and asked if they could make the set slightly fuller. Ashley handled the adjustment, and from the moment I arrived, she was extremely cold and unfriendly. Instead of greeting me, she immediately asked, "What do you need fixed?" When I tried pointing out the sparse areas, she interrupted me and said, "I can't see what you're pointing to. Lay down." I explained that I liked the original style and simply wanted the bare natural lashes filled. Instead, my lashes came out significantly darker and thicker, uneven between both eyes, and with little attention to the original mapping. When I told her I wanted the lighter fans Vicky had used, she responded, "Well, I don't know what she did, so I can't do the same style." This was surprising considering they work and train under the same studio. I eventually left dissatisfied and booked at another studio the following week. During that week, my lashes became increasingly uncomfortable and felt like they were pulling on each other. When the other artist removed them, she took photos confirming that multiple lashes were stuck together. In some areas, approximately 3-4 natural lashes were glued to a single fan, and some fans were glued together as well. The removal was difficult and painful due to Ashley and Vicky's poor application. Although Vicky was much nicer and did a better job with the styling, some of her original application also had natural lashes stuck together. The bases of the lashes were very boxy too, which explains why I felt like the lashes were poking my eyelid anytime I closed my eyes. As a lash artist myself, I don't leave a review like this lightly. Proper isolation is extremely important for the health and integrity of natural lashes. Between the application issues and the way my concerns were handled, I unfortunately cannot recommend Moon Lash. The experience showed a lack of consistency between artists, poor customer service, and most importantly, a lack of attention to natural lash health.

My previous lash place was too far for me during my recovery, so I found Bliss and met Haydee. I'm SO glad I did. After a series of strokes, sometimes I joke that I'm still playing "connect the dots" because everything doesn't always connect as quickly as it used to. Haydee has been nothing but patient and understanding with me. She takes her time, makes sure I'm comfortable (I have horrible chronic pain in my lower back), and most importantly, my lashes always look beautiful!
