I didn't want to be rude at the appointment, so I paid the full $165 and left a $15 tip. Once I got into my car and saw the lashes more clearly, I went back into the studio right away and politely asked if they could fix or remove them. I was told they couldn't do anything and that I would have to wait for them to grow out, which was frustrating because professional removal is possible. My eyes were also burning, extremely watery, and visibly red after the appointment, as shown in the photo. I gave them the opportunity to help immediately, but unfortunately, they were unwilling to offer a correction or removal. I paid $180 total and left with a hideous set and irritated eyes. I called and she took me in an hour later at her home which seemed "normal" to me because of COVID-19. She did state she works from home and not her salon because of her fear for COVID-19 which I totally understood. The process took about an hour. When I saw it I was so happy because it looked very nice. I was looking at my lashes on my way home and touched them ever so lightly and that's when I felt this hardness all across my lids. When I got home I looked in the mirror and I saw so much glue. More than 50% of the lash extensions were glued crookedly over my lashes. The most I found was she glued 1 extension over 4 of my natural lashes. It's so disappointing because I entrusted her and it was only to ruin my natural lashes. The glue was so thick and just poorly placed.
