Clean, very professional and my lashes look amazing! I booked this service through lifebooker and got the mink secret touch lashes. Once you come in you're given a consultation form and the lash technician sits down and goes over the lash type ( silk or mink) and the style. Since it was my first time I got the natural style. Then you get to choose the length, the tech recommended anywhere between 10/11 out of 8-15. I wanted 11 but the tech said 10 would look more natural. Just got eyelash extensions for the first time and I could not be happier. My Lash Touch experience was pleasant from start to finish. I had initially made my first appointment for 12:00pm, but unfortunately was not able to make it on time due to NY traffic. The guy at the front desk was very understanding when I called, and was nice enough to move my appointment to 2pm. When I walked into the salon, I was pleased by how beautifully decorated and clean it was. I was attended right away and as a nervous first-timer, felt confident and comfortable with the explanation and information that the technician, Kim, gave me regarding all the choices I had from the material of the lashes (mink or silk) to curl, length, and thickness. I decided to go with the natural, full touch (160 lashes), mink, .12mm, C curl lashes. I was nervous at first about having someone touch my eyes for more than an hour straight, but it turned out to be the most relaxing experience EVER. Nice facility, the service really depends on the technician but if you get a good tech they really make sure you are happy with the results. I have been three times now and I seem to get different results depending on the person. I also have trouble communicating what I want or they have trouble understanding since I ask every time for the technician to avoid putting any false lashes on the inner corners of my eye but each time they still put them there. On a general note, I was out for dinner with a girlfriend and she immediately thought I was wearing false eyelashes, which was a bit of a bummer so next time I think I will go for less thick lashes and 9-10 cat eye . read more

Nice lash studio, but I give it 4 stars due to the incredibly rude receptionist who is there every time I have been in. She gave me a hard time because I paid with a credit card and didn't have cash for a tip. I told her I could give $5 in tip so I had to use a card and she still gave me attitude! Glue got lodged in my tear duct. They said the issue was prior extensions and charged me for the eyelash removal. My eyes teared for months and I saw 6 doctors before an eyelid surgeon diagnosed a blockage. I was set for surgery but luckily the probe in the tear duct dislodged it. Since then I've used a serum for eyelash growth which has worked well with none of the inconvenience. read more

I have been getting my lashes done for a long time and just moved from SF. My experience with Lashtouch has been horrendous. I had a terrible allergic reaction to the glue they used. My eyes became extremely swollen and crusty. In the process of removing my lashes, they ripped out my eyelashes, leaving gaps in my lashline so prominent it will be a long time before I can get extensions again. It was apparent that the technicians are inexperienced (how do you not know what glue you use?!) I was never refunded or given an apology. So wanted to update my review, because I've gone through a few technicians and I have some updates! They renovated this spot, and for the life of me I can't remember what it looked like before. I believe the eyes are taped underneath at least that's how it felt to me, and I needed to put on a podcast for 45 minutes. The time actually went pretty fast for the secret touch. 50 minutes I want to say. I actually love the way my eyes look now, and I'm a person who doesn't wear makeup any day of the week. I stopped in because I have a wedding in Vegas of all places, and really felt like I needed a step up! I'm already hooked since the retouching is less than the first time so I can see myself in every two weeks or so. No mascara or curling for me! This place is located in the middle of the street. Buzz the door and then you're in. Pretty quiet with background music so bring your phone with something to listen to while you lay there. Don't be an AH and forget to tip, because this place has % price per each envelope which makes me think people are cheapos that make it necessary. They help advise you to choose the best option for your needs. They have been generous in allowing a grace period when I was running late & a bit of extra time when I realized I needed more lashes for my wedding than what I had originally requested. I went to Lash Touch for the first time on Wednesday. My natural lashes are short and thin so it's hard to make extensions work for me. They were very nice and extremely gentle. They addressed all my concerns as I had a horrible experience in another place. They made sure I didn't have any allergic reactions to adhesives by getting my full background experience. Jay did an amazing job. Love my lashes!! The price was on point, especially with the 30% discount for new clients. Perfect! I will definitely be coming back. Advice: (1) Make sure the day of the week you come in is the day of the week you'd like to keep coming in for your refills. Like if your first time was on a Wednesday (in my case), your refills will have to be done every 2-3 weeks on a Wednesday. I hear this policy is very strictly enforced. Good thing they have appointments until as late as 7:00pm for refills (for those who have full-time jobs or have to work late). (2) The place was a little hard finding at first. They have their own separate entrance, up these concrete staircase. Once you're inside though, it's all good. read more

This was my first time getting eyelash extensions because I needed a pick me up. The ladies at the front desk were very nice and polite. When you're called in, they ask you to take all your makeup off. There is a beautiful little vanity area where you can take off your makeup. Prior to this I had looked on their website to see what kind of looks they offered, but I still wanted an expert's opinion. The lash technician then came up to me. She asked me which curl and length I wanted, to which I said I was open to something that looked full and not too unnoticeably natural. ( I wear fake lashes often enough that I prefer more glam looks.) I asked her what she recommended since it was my first time and she simply shrugged. I stared at her once more , asked her if she had any photo references of each and she said no. She then she said C curl , length 10 or 11 with a cat eye. And I said okay. In my mind , I feel like lash technicians should be able to recommend you something based on your preference and eye shape and this person seemed extremely apathetic like she didn't care. That should have been my first red flag. They bring you into a private room which is nice and quiet. But I quickly realized that the lash technician had a bad cold. She was coughing and sneezing.. and doing my extensions. Was she nice? Yes. Was her sickness her fault ? No. But I don't think she should have gone to work given how much she was coughing and sneezing. She had to even leave the room once to cough and blow her nose in the 1 hr was there. The entire thing, even though she was wearing a mask to be considerate, felt unsanitary and unprofessional to me. Did this make me want to come back? Probably not. -- That being said, despite her sickness, she did a great job on the right eye. However, my left eye wasn't as nice. She definitely applied the extensions too far away from my lash line. There was a visible gap between where my real and fake lashes started. It didn't blend together seamlessly like my right eye. The lashes lasted a long time - for at least 3 weeks with minimal fall out and then by the 1 month mark, the left eye fell off much quicker than the right. All in all, compared to other lashes places, -They have more options on "types " of faux lashes -Offer sensitive eye glue But, it wasn't cheap, $140 ish with tax and tip (and that was already with the 30% off discounted first timer price!) -- Perhaps my experience would be better with a diff lash technician, but for now I will not be coming back. read more

I have really short and straight lashes, sadly oily eyelids make it difficult for me to use mascara, even waterproof mascara can't save me from looking like a panda. My search for a good eyelash extension place is finally coming to an end cause I found this place. Since individual extension is such a long and precise thing, it is also pretty pricey. I found this place thru Lifebooker. I called to set my appointment, not too bad, but do need to call in advance to get the best time you would like. I like how they don't ask if I have a coupon from Groupon or Lifebooker because some places ask that and once they know you have a coupon, they would treat you like 2nd class citizens and barely have any openings available. When it came to the day of my appointment, location wasn't too hard to find since there were signs outside of the building directing you. I was greeted the moment I stepped in, extremely friendly staff. gave me a form to fill out a brief survey to see how I heard of the place and if I ever had extension before. It is very clean and professional. Went to a room with the staff, laid down and she started to do my lashes. Really nice, she even asked if it was ok to put tape on my forehead, which I assume was so she can have access to the lash glue without turning around back and forth to it. The whole process took a bit over an hour. So for the results, I love it. It lasted about a 3ish wk. It was definitely a record breaking because many places I went to would have one eye half gone while the other eye is still fully intact after a week.
