Rebecca and Vince were able to provide direct updates regarding repair of the vehicle and were flexible with my schedule for pick up. The Gerber team were able to monitor my car while I was away for work travel, which is super helpful to me. In terms of quality of work, not only did they take out the dented door and replace it with a new one, but they also repaired every warning light that was seen in my vehicle in addition to cleaning out the entire vehicle, which is above and beyond what I expected. I also didn't have to pay above my deductible when working with Gerber collision. They were able to work with my insurance company to address any supplemental issues, so the cost of repair was affordable. For a premium brand, this felt like a huge miss in customer experience and brand alignment. The gap between my car and the loaner was substantial and didn't reflect the level of service I expected. I understand loaner availability can vary, but customers should receive a vehicle that reasonably matches the quality of what they drive--especially when returning for a rework. This experience left me feeling undervalued. I even shared my feedback with the team onsite when picking up my car, and the response I received was, "It's a free car" and "Whelp, that is how it is here." That attitude was disappointing and reinforced the feeling that customer experience wasn't a priority. I hope they review their loaner policy and approach to feedback to ensure better experiences in the future.
