This place was a treat. Hidden in the park meadows mall strip located right outside of it, this place really has every fun drink you could need! It is on the sweeter side & would serve for a great brunch choice for coffee or a dessert drink. The service was quick & staff was kind.

Stopped by after a round of VR for a cool little treat! Super nice that it's just across the street. The vibes are super cute and very spacious! Love the claw machine and milk boba plushies! Strawberry Matcha was sooo delicious! The brown sugar boba are amazing! I couldn't taste the Thai tea in the Crème brûlée Thai tea, but you can definitely taste the crème brûlée.

Latea was by far my favorite place to get boba from in Indianapolis before the location closed down in 2023. I can't say I expected to find Latea near Denver! Of course we had to visit, and we headed over right after eating lunch in the city. This boba shop is located right by the mall, making it very convenient to get boba after shopping. The interior is tastefully decorated, and the menu seems to be the same as the other two locations I've visited (Indy and Champaign). Ordering is done via kiosk, although the bobaristas are available for questions. Taiwan Oolong Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Honey Boba ($7.75) - This is a very fragrant tea with a milky and toasty aroma and a hint of nuttiness. It reminds me of a Phoenix Oolong, although this is probably a variety of High Mountain. It's thickened quite well to a creamy consistency. There aren't any hints of harshness or off notes, making this a great milk tea to sip on. The boba is strange. The pearls are shaped like cuboids and aren't consistent in cut, so some are shorter cubes and some are longer. The other Latea locations have normal round boba, so I'm confused why the change here. They have the same very firm chew throughout, way too firm for my tastes. For factory produced boba, usually there's a softer exterior and more firm interior, so I can definitely tell that the boba is homemade. At least the marination is good, being submersed in fruity and flowery longan honey for a long time. Milk Tea Rating: 5/5 Boba Rating: 3/5 Assam Milk Tea, Large, 50% Sweet, Less Ice w/ Brown Sugar Boba ($7.25) - This milk tea has a very nice assam flavor, deep with a light fruity astringency. It's extremely creamy, probably too much so. That leaves a kind of gritty mouthfeel and a powdery residue left on the top of the palette. Great flavor, but the mix is off. At most places, brown sugar boba is softer than honey boba and Latea is no exception. It's much softer here than the honey, cooked and marinated enough to be nicely chewy and bouncy. As with the honey, the marination is stellar, giving a great brown sugar flavor to each pearl. The pearls are still that strange cuboid shape though. Milk Tea Rating: 4/5 Boba Rating: 4.5/5 As with the other Latea locations, the milk tea is good quality. The boba at this particular location is a bit strange, however. I'm not really sure what to make of the unique shape. Bathrooms - Two unisex room although one is currently out of order.

I like places like this where you can order on the machine or with a person if you have questions. It's very fast and efficient ! I also liked this place good amount of seating and it just had a chill vibe. The matcha was soooo good! My mom who doesn't like matcha even enjoyed it. The boba had a strange shape but we really enjoyed that. Definitely would go again.

Cool boba spot, friendly proprietor with boba that's made from scratch. Ample space and couches... which makes me think it would be good for a first date. The crème brûlée matcha is solid, I got it quarter sweet and it was just the right level of sweetness for me. The longan boba is a must try; it's slightly sweeter than the standard boba but has an interesting floral and fruity fragrance and taste to it. Highly recommend it.

I met Wei at our Yelp AAPI celebration and he is fantastic and his tea is on point. Personal favorite was the passion fruit green tea. It is literally the perfect blend of green tea, fruit and sweetness. No other boba drinks compare to Latea. Their ingredients and flavors are so fresh and delicious. None of that cheap, sugary flavored powder. And the boba pearls themselves are also delicious and fresh. Best I've ever had. Plus the owner Wei is the best. 10/10 read more

This spot is AMAZING. I've always been on a hunt for a good boba spot that isn't too far from me in Parker. The atmosphere is one of the best parts of this tea shop. It's cute and quiet, an amazing place to go and hang out. My personal favorite is their Crème Brûlée drink as it's creamy and refreshing. It's an odd twist but don't knock it till you try it! My go to however is the Assam tea with lychee jelly. It's refreshing and not heavy for when I'm not wanting something too dairy heavy. They have alternatives and sweet treats as well! Their little cookie bites are such a unique yet delicious treat. The service is IMPECCABLE HERE. They're always so welcoming and friendly and very efficient I highly recommend them if you're in the area! read more

This is I believe the 5th Latea opened and 1st in Colorado. Having just opened the service, interior, and drinks are excellent. Three visits so far and my favorite drink is the Ube Cream Brulee. The best part for me is the house made boba that is unique from other tea stores in taste/chewyniss. The cups they use are very nice quality with re-sealable lids. The store is in a great location perfect to have a fresh drink while taking a stroll through the Mall/Vistas! read more

Got to try out latea today! I usually go for a passion fruit tea but was told the brown sugar boba was a best seller so had to try! Had it with the honey boba and I don't think I can ever have it without! This drink is typically really sweet but they made it perfectly. Highly recommend if you guys are in the Lone Tree/ Park Meadows area! read more

Gosh, we had LaTea catered for a pot luck and I got to try two kinds. Mine was fresh grapefruit with honey boba and my husband got classic brown sugar milk tea boba. The boba wasn't the normal black tapioca balls all the other places carry. The owner makes fresh boba in house! I think his name is Wei. My friend who brought the tea said the owner is so nice and humble. I drink boba teas every week. I'm picky. I can tell the tea was fresh and they take great care in their products. I haven't tried their snacks yet. read more

Yes, LaTea was not officially opened until the end of the month, but could not resist my urge to visit it during their soft opening. Some background information that differentiated it from others. First of all, the boba was made in house using the old recipe of the grandmother of the founder, so not only the boba was fresh, but it also had the nostalgic texture. Secondly, the teas were freshly brewed and the most tea leaves were sourced from the tea farms in Taichung, Taiwan or Yunnan, China. Thirdly, the brown sugar was from Mexico and the syrup was also freshly prepared in the store. Overall, it was a more nostalgic combination of teas, boba and brown sugar as they supposed to be, nothing overtaking the flavor of the other, without artificial additives to juice up the flavor. Here are their Roasted Brown Sugar Milk Tea with House Made Brown Sugar Boba, Matcha Latte with Creme Brulee, Fresh Grapefruit Jasmine Tea with House Made Longan Honey Boba, Taiwan Oolong Tea and Tiramisu Milk Tea. Both sugar and ice levels could be adjusted according to personal preference. Although the selection was limited during the soft opening, but was already quite impressed. Certainly a gem in the Park Meadows area. read more

Do not pass this place up!! They are the only Boba place in Colorado that makes the Boba in-house! The chocolate was decadent and I believe is from France. The gentleman was so passionate and was very happy to share all about the menu and make recommendations. The little touches of anime but still a really clean simple interior make it a great inside space. Go check them out! read more

Came to try some of their offerings for their soft opening. Everything I've tried there so far has been great. The tea is well brewed, flavorings are tasty and the drinks are not too sweet. I've learned that all of the toppings are made in house and they have an array of different types of milk, depending on your preferences. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. If you're not too familiar with boba and Asian tea in general, they seem knowledgeable and willing to assist. I've tried the following drinks and been wowed by all so far: Crème Brûlée Thai Tea Mango Smoothie Crème Brûlée Ube Milk Tea Crème Brûlée Matcha Latte The decor is very warm and welcoming, along with the staff. LaTea is a phenomenal Taiwanese Tea and dessert shop. Jack really puts his heart and soul into the ownership of his drinks and desserts. Definitely a spot for people who appreciate top quality tea and boba. They make their boba in-house from an old family recipe and let me tell you it is THE MOST DELICIOUS boba you'll ever taste, nothing compared to your average chain boba shops who buy their boba. Their tea is imported from Taiwan and is inspected for their quality and flavour prior to every shipment. You can really taste and smell the aroma of the tea with each sip. I was able to tea two of their tarts. The first was a pecan tart that paired really well with their creme brulee matcha tea drink and the other was a lemon tart with tiramisu milk tea, both were excellent compliments of each other. The decor was very modern with little corner nooks to sit in with a friend for nice tea time. Overall a highly recommended spot to go to for high quality drinks. We have also ordered Taro Milk Tea and Strawberry Creme at the end which tasted so fresh and delicious. It definetely wasnt too sweet, it was just perfect. Im glad we saved room for the drinks hehe. I recently tried the Brown Sugar Bubble Tea. The store is a bit far from me, so it was great to try their most popular flavor at a potluck that I attended. The tea itself had a great flavor profile, and what impressed me the most was that the sweetness level (75%) was just right - not cloyingly sugary. The only minor hiccup I encountered was with the texture of the boba. They weren't as chewy as I expected, and it was a bit challenging to get them through the straw. However, I believe this might have been my fault, as I didn't dive into my drink right away as I was busy eating and talking. Despite this, the boba still tasted good, just with a slightly different consistency than I'm used to. All in all, I enjoyed my drink and would recommend giving their Brown Sugar Bubble Tea a try. Next time, I'll make sure to savor it immediately to fully appreciate the boba's fresh texture. read more
