I just walked in the door about 5 minutes ago. First time ever coming into this establishment. The young lady working the front counter was too sleepy to help or give me answers to my simple questions. I asked about their Monday BOGO special for cachapas, she lays her head down and starts waving her finger up and down. I asked her if she could speak up (because the TV was blaring) she continued to mumble. I asked her if she was ok, she said yes but she's sleepy. Apparently too sleepy to provide a modicum of customer service. I was really looking for to trying their food since I've passed them so many times before. Needless to say I'm not paying for bad service at the onset... The place was empty. I can't help but to think it's because they are sleeping on their customers. I see your response, which is exactly why I didn't bother to ask for a manager. This can't be the first time someone has received bad service like this because the young lady was too comfortable with her behavior. We came on a Sunday afternoon after finding this on Yelp. It was pretty quiet when we arrived, but were immediately greeted by the owner behind the counter. The server was very friendly and explained the menu to us. I love the fact that there is a QR code at the table that pulls up a menu with all the photos. It's great for someone who doesn't know what the items look like. You can also pay by scanning the QR code. The downside is that they charge you extra hidden costs like tap water and a whole lot of many other things. I would have bright my own purified bottled water from Costco that cost a a fraction of what they charged. The prices didn't not align with what was reflected on the menu from scanning the QR code and they were not upfront about it until we got the bill. The menu states that one of the orders came with brown rice so that's what we ordered, but they tagged in extra $2.50 for that on our tab. With the patacon, there was lack of transparency that you would be charged extra for each additional ingredients which was not started on the menu and they don't tell you until the very end when it shows up on the bill. Price and transparency 1/5. Pan De Jamon was Sweet and savory with reasons, ham, olives. They're homemade and fresh. 5/5 Patacon - you can add a variety of means but they charge you extra for each one. The plantain part was good, but I felt mixed about it because certain ingredients were hot, lukewarm and some cold. Lack of consistency. 3/5 We also ordered the pabellon plate, It came with plantains (the best part about it), black beans, brown rice according to the menu through the QR code. The meat was tender but not much flavor. 3/5 Love trying out local hole in the walls and finding hidden gems, but this one didn't meet expectations. read more

This place was such a pleasant surprise that I invited a group of friends to meet me there a few weeks later. The edamame falafel was so moist & delicious. We had yuca fries, empanafas, the cheese (both fried & cold). All were good. The best thing for me was the sandwich they make with flattened, fried plantains that serve as the bread. I loved it & ordered it both visits. It's called a patacon. The restaurant is small but clean & has plenty of tables. There's usualky a game on the tv. Our server was very sweet. read more

I have been to this place 3 times, great food & service. I always get the same thing. The Pabellon but instead of beef, I swap for chicken. A regular French fry, a side of the cream cheese sauce and a Latin lemonade. I normally come earlier in the day but decided to stop by after the gym. I did not check my food this time. I got home and the Pabellon had shredded beef instead of shredded chicken. My two gripes are the amount of fries we get and the meat mistake. I still ate it as I was very hungry. We saw the reviews and decided to stop in for Sunday dinner. We l received a warm friendly greeting when we arrived. It's seat your self so we chose a comfy booth. Henry the owner is so kind and helpful! We had 2 vegetarians and 2 meat eaters and we all enjoyed the food we ordered. The passionfruit juice is a must try! So refreshing and delicious. We ordered fish, chicken and potato empanadas and they were fresh, fried to perfection and hot! The cachapa was our favorite! Tostones were fresh and yummy. The Latin fingers were a great starter. The platacon classic was tasty as well. The sweet potato fries we good. Everything was made with love and fresh! Support this family owned business. To start off I want to say the service was really nice but to be fair this place is probably not table service since very minimal team members working. The inside gave the vibe of fast food, eat and go. Floor in the place can use some cleaning up and windows on store front. But the flavor of the food gave total opposite. This place is creating and serving some amazing food. Want to appreciate the young lady that was assisting us the entire experience. There were 5 of us and lots of food was ordered. We were the only people inside eating. All the food came out at different times to where everyone would start eating at different times. Food had lots of flavor and nothing disappointed any of us at the table. Of course we took some food home with use since I decided to order the plate that serves 4 people. Lol If they ask small or large.... If you're hungry go for large. I didn't realize when I said large I would get 4 servings of food but was well worth $41. If you're a big group, suggest takeout and enjoy at home. 2-3 people would be perfect to grab a bite and eat inside. Will plan my next trip to try other foods here for sure. We ordered food to go and picked it up. The service was quick and efficient. The food was absolutely delicious! I was surprised how well packaged it was, and although there were lots of fried items, nothing was soggy by the time we got home. My husband and I have been wanting to try this place for quite some time, and I'm glad we finally did! Our kids also enjoyed the food. Visited this place for the first time with my family and service was quick and efficient. My first impression was that the place was very clean and the Latin music! The menu was explained to us and we were able to look at photos of all the food through qr link (big bonus). We started off with empanadas con carne desmechada and fresh lemonade, the lemonade was very refreshing and the empanadas were hot and steamy when we got them & very tasty. We then got a chicken arepa (husband said it was a 10/10). We then got the latin rice, Cole slaw, yuquitas and the kids fish also everything 10/10. For dessert we got the 3 leches, and strawberry short cake, was hoping to try the chocolate 3 leches but they didn't have it, maybe next time! I've been waiting g patiently for Latin Delight to open, once I saw the sign. I've been there twice. So far I've tried the arepa (specifically the Pabellon) and the pasteles. The arepa was a bite of heaven--the beef was well seasoned, and when you add black beans and fried plantains to the mix, you have an explosion of flavor in your mouth. I also loved the pasteles--the dough was light and flaky and the meat was tasty and very well seasoned. I am so glad to see a new small business in the area and am looking forward to trying more menu items. WOW!!!!!! I have been passing Latin Delight ever since they open in my neighborhood, but never stopped. I mentioned to my father in law that I would stop by there one day. Well today was the day.
