My husband has the most delicious & beautiful french toast with whipped cream, strawberries, & blueberries from the expanded menu since we were last here. My salad is beautiful and delicious as well. They are generous with avocados! I loved my pupiusa as well

This restaurant is very clean and can hold hroups nicely. The lady who took my order was courteous, very friendly, and suggested some great menu items. I otdered to go but next tume I'm in the area again, I'll definitely sit in for a meal. The food is fresh and delicious, I can't wait to return and try more things. I highly recommend!

It may look a little sketchy from the outside, but that's how you know the food is going to be bomb. I tried a few different pupusas: bean & cheese, jalapeño & cheese, and fajita & cheese. The bean & cheese was definitely my favorite. The others were good too, but the fajita was a little light on the meat. I love my pupusas drowning in salsa and loaded with curtido so I asked for extra of both. Prices are amazing here too. For 3 large pupusas and a soda it was only $8.50. You literally can't beat that!

    This papusa was phenomenal !

Jeeeeze. As u can see I came hungry ! & left FULL AS A TICK. This place is a hidden gem, I felt like I was back in Central America the food was so AUTHENTIC fresh and delicious! The eggs were soooo yummy and the papusa was recommended by the server and didn't disappoint. Fajita, cheese and jalapeño papusa tht was out of this world. The prices were extremely reasonable and they were willing to accommodate without an up charge but even if they did charge it is well worth paying extra for this quality. I love authentic mom and pop restaurants like this so much. Everything was made to order and so fresh with the best customer service experience. Will definitely be back for breakfast as well as their non breakfast options :-)

Yall, this is my definition of a salvadoran restaurant. It's so good. Maybe it's bc the owners are from my region of Usulutan but it hit the spot. We got the seafood soup and the torogoz which had a bit of everything we love here. Everything was just amazing. Couldn't ask for more. Family ran, lovely staff. Ps. I have never been able to find the papas locas "crazy fries" in any salvadoran restaurant in Houston.

We enjoyed our first visit and we're already planning the next. The carne asada plate with rice and refried beans and pico de gallo and a fiery hot grilled jalapeno, the plate came with two of the best tortillas i've ever had. My wife got one chicken tamale, it melted in our mouths. Next visit i'll try some pupusas and maybe breakfast.

Our server was super attentive and he made sure that everyone's food and drinks came out at the same time even if someone came in later. I had the nachos with beef fajita and chicken, and I thought it was pretty good, it has the same set up as nachos from Pappasito's and my only complaint was that I asked for a side of sour cream to go and was charged a dollar for it. So if anything keep in mind that if you request an extra or even a condiment on the side, you might get charged a small fee.

I feel like my food was probably sitting for a while because it wasn't hot. The omelette itself didn't really have any flavor nor did the potatoes. The most flavorful thing on the plate was the avocados and fruit. I didn't even really feel like it was an omelette. Looked more like a bunch of meat wrapped in an egg cover vs everything being nicely mixed together. I took it to go because I didn't want to throw it away there. The service was very slow. I'd say it took a little over an hour for me to get my food and some people in the group waited longer. One of the girls waited for quite a bit and then the waiter told her they don't have the item she was waiting for. Waiting 1 hr to be told your meal is isn't available is crazy lol Waiter was nice though and comped the other item she ordered. Overall, I'd say I wasn't impressed with Gloria's brunch for sure. Maybe I'd try them again for happy hour at their other location.

I went there due to seeing their instagram story about a $10 meal deal (2 pupusas, a pastelito, and a soda) but they had run out of pastelitos so I had to quickly choose something so I'm thankful that they were happy to help answer any questions. It's a small food truck located in the same parking lot with Fiesta off Paton and Cavalcade so there's no seating or real space to eat (unless you eat in your car). They're also honest about the wait time. They said it would take 15-20 minutes and they didn't go over their time estimate. I have only had pupusas a handful of times (I'm from a small town in WA state that only had Mexican restaurants since only Mexicans lived there, so don't judge ) and can say these were the best I've had thus far. They were freshly made and piping hot when I got them (I had to put the bag down from my lap because it was too hot) and remained so throughout eating them. The cheese was gooey and stringy and their salsa has a nice little kick to it. It wasn't greasy or too salty which is always a plus. I ordered the revueltas (pork & cheese) and added beans to them. They are HUGE so be mindful when ordering them (they also taste better the next day if you have any leftover). These were definitely worth the price. I would recommend this place to anyone who asks if I know where they sell good pupusas. Let's just say I'll be going in again (they're so close to me). I hope y'all enjoy.

Beware, they play loud Christian music. They have a small grocery store within the restaurant where you can find all types of Salvadoran products. I wanted a fruit drink and asked to try the cantaloupe juice first. It was artificial and too sweet. I'm glad I didn't order it. I was appalled when I saw the price of the fruit salad drink. It's $7.99. Who do they think they are? I inquired if they have a small size. They don't. I wonder how many folks purchase it. This is a low-income area. I got down to business and ordered a cheese and loroco pupusa. It was of course served with curtido (cabbage) and a tomato sauce. The pupusa was good but I've had better. The sauce was watered down. I would probably go back to have a pupusa if I'm in the area. But it's not my favorite place to have them.
