I happened to be in the area filling for one of the branches nearby. Since I have never ventured to this side of town I decided to try one of their restaurants nearby. A quick search on Yelp lead me to this little hole in the wall. It was a little bit hard to find though. It's located in a smaller inconspuous shopping strip on a small road that looks like you're headed towards the back of the neighborhood. The place still had that new to it. It was very clean on the inside. There were a few four top tables for you to sit down and a counter for you to order at. I ordered the Queen Arepa which was amazing. To be honest though, I'm not an expert when it comes to arepas so my taste might be a little skewed. I also got an order of the Yuca Fritas which came with Chimichurri sauce ( I used most of it on my arepas. The service was very fast and the food was good. While inside two other gentlemen came in. It seems like they were regulars. The lady behind the counter knew exactly what the other gentleman was going to order. I would definitely come back and try the different things on the menu. Thank you Yelp! It was almost lunch time and yelp sent a notice to my phone that I might like to try Latino Bites Express in Pearland. I didn't have a lunch plan yet, so headed down the road to check out this new spot and loved it! Don't let the location fool you, sandwiched between a gas station and Filipino buffet, this place is a hidden gem. The guy behind the counter was really friendly, spoke English and Spanish. I got my food to-go, but there were several tables should you want to eat inside. I really wanted to order the whole menu, but today tried the Queen Arepa, Tacos and Yuca Frita with two not spicy green sauces. All were fantastic! Less than $10 for a belly full of Latin comfort food that I haven't been able to find anywhere else in the area. I am really looking forward to stopping in for breakfast, and hope that tasty coffee options (cafe Cubano perhaps....) will be added to the menu soon :) read more

Loved this place but made the mistake of trying to eat the whole menu. After finishing the "Queen Arepa" I was sufficiently full. Hopefully the rest is just as delicious when reheated! We came here since I seen someone recommended this place on Facebook. The service was quick, the lady was very nice and friendly. The place is just a small little spot with bright bare purple walls and plastic tables and chairs. Something like you would find at IKEA. It's cute. My husband and I got the fresh piña and sandia drinks, mex burrito, kids got the quesadillas and I also wanted to try the elote. The drinks were not that sweet, my husband had to add sugar. The mex burrito was supposed to have grilled beef, but if you look at my pics it looks more like some type of roast beef. It was pretty good but why not just list it in the menu? We were pretty disappointed that we were told grilled beef but got whatever that beef was, instead. The tortillas were good and toasted very nicely. They were a little stingy with the meat. The elote didn't have any flavor other than the mayo and parmesan. I had to add salt and pepper, disappointed there wasn't any lime to add to it. They have other items we would have liked to try, but with them giving us the roasted type beef instead of grilled kind of turned us off to this place. read more

I love supporting local. My BF got the breakfast tacos not pictured because he ate them before I could snap a photo, so that has his seal of approval. We are big on street tacos so we chose the Beef aka carne asada which comes with 3, great deal . We requested to hold the tomatoes so we just had onion & cilantro which was a great combo with the Salsa Verde by the way. I had the Beef Arepa & added beans & a side of avacado I would probably eat it with the ranch next time, I got the spicy & that was my only little comment. The spicy salsa had awesome flavor but I wish it packed more heat. We will definitely be back, loved the colors, the cleanliness, the food & the service. read more

My boyfriend surprised me with the Mex Burrito and original quesadilla with grilled beef and it was AMAZING. The meat was so tender and packed with flavor! We also got the spiciest sauce (I forgot what it was called) and it complemented our meal so well. It wasn't to spicy and the sauce also had a nice tang to it. We came for breakfast and were the first customers in the door! We tried the arepa bacana and the breakfast burrito. Our toddler son devoured the arepa. He LOVED it. I was able to try and bite and it was delicious, cheesy and crispy. Yum! The breakfast burrito was also great, very generously sized so my husband and I shared it. Friendly service and a fantastic value because you're getting huge portions or delicious made-to-order foods for less than the cost of a fast food breakfast! Ordered the arepa with chicken. Nothing but a blob of cheese with old stale avocados. Chicken was ok but the arepa was a 2 out of 10. My husband ordered the pupusas and they were frozen and oven toasted. Not good. Toquemos were not melted on the inside and baked, not fried. Overall very unsatisfactory experience. Don't be fooled by the location. This place has really great food. I ordered a chicken quesadilla, chicken burrito and Paisa. OMG the Paisa empanadas alone will have me coming back! I felt like they were a being bit skimpy on the chicken in my burrito but I'm willing to give them another try to test out other menu items. It was my first time eating there and I really like it. I made my order online and picked it up. I ordered chicken tacos, they were really tasty, the only complain for me was that the soft tortillas were a little hard. It was my first time trying a pupusa and it was delicious! The yuca frita and tostones really great too. I think my only 2 issues were the tortillas and the fact that I was expecting some call or email telling that the food was ready and I didn't receive either, so I had to guess when to go to pick it up. But overall was really good and I will definitely go back to eat! Maybe it would be nice if they add some puertorrican items too! read more

Tried this place for the first time, and went with Queen Arepa and a side of fried yuca. No question - fantastic Arepa with well seasoned juicy pork. The fried Yuca were very crispy and amazing. You get a choice of sauces and I dont hi k you can go wrong with any of them but the Chimichurri on Arepa was the best in my opinion. The place is a little out of the way but don't let that stop you - great food at fair prices and a great local business in Pearland. We will be going back! read more
