All you can eat menu. July 2025

Very clean and quiet restaurant. Fast service and friendly wait staff. You have 2 hours to eat all you want. I couldn't even finish the first plate. Just a lot of food. All good. I would go back.

Love coming here! All you can eat boil during the week! Worth every penny! Service is what's to be expected. Flavors are amazing and it's always a good time! We got a few apps, and order two or three rounds each and we were beyond stuffed! Try all the flavors and find your favorite!

14 oz os shrimp sold as 1 pound for 19$/lb.

I ordered 1 lbs of shrimp and received 14 oz. at 19$/lbs I ordered 1 lbs. of scallops and received 7oz. at 29$/lbs I ordered these to go. Its lack of clientele on a Friday at 6 pm should tell all. Fool me twice. Shame on me. Total con and the "crab"is still laughing The Laughing Grab.

OMG! Such a good deal! They have all you can eat. Choose 3 seafood options, 3 side option, flavor & spice level. Most of everything is basic grade except the shrimp but still very much worth the price & you will get full! Flavorful!

I stopped in for lunch. When you come in you are greeted by the host and nautical/ under the sea themed restaurant. The food i ordered was good and a good portion for lunch.

Combo Special B w/Sausage (House special Medium). BLAND BLAND BLAND.

I was beyond excited to learn Dallas opened a location and to order from here because the first time I tried Laughing Crab was in Louisiana & it was soooo good, like think about them once a quarter good. I guess it's my fault for having an expectation to begin with, but the truth is this time was nothing like the first & I have to admit I'm disappointed. When it came to ordering the food online (which is user friendly), the level of customer service when you walk in, the impeccable decor, and the fact they have one of the most competitive specials Mon-Fri when it comes to seafood boils ($20.99 for pick two that comes with potato & corn) or an all you can eat option- they're great. It's the food that's the problem. I ordered the Combo Special B medium w/the house blend. For those who don't know that combo comes with 1/2 lb of snow crab, shrimp no head, crawfish, three potatoes, two corn and two eggs. Not sure why a lot of boils in TX don't also add in a 1/2 lb of sausage (beef or pork) so I had to add that separately. The total came out to $42.24. Now that's not bad for all that you're getting, but for the price I was definitely expecting to get what I paid for in terms of spice and flavor. Not only was the boil flavorless in terms of seasoning (especially surprising being that I ordered the house special and you can clearly see the butter etc in the bag), but it wasn't even mildly spicy & I ordered medium ??? It was also a hassle trying to get through the crawfish as they seemed overcooked. When I walked in I did notice that only 3 people were dining in. I'm curious to know if it was just due to the time I went (3:30pm on a Friday) or if it has to do with the food being bland? Idk. I hope I just caught them on a bad day, but it'll be a while before I come back.

Came on a Friday night with my mom and 2 kiddos. It was pretty empty so we can say immediately. All the decorations were really cool to look at. The food and flavor were solid. I would definitely go back to try out the "all you can eat". We didn't get it due to the price for the children. The waiter said it would be half the price for both the kids(it was their first time eating boiled seafood). So it wasn't worth it for us but definitely for a date or lunch alone with my mom. You get 2 hours and you start by choosing 3lbs of whichever protein you want then 1lb after.

We love a good Cajun restaurant. The Laughing Crab definitely *looks* like it would qualify; inside and out, we liked the decor. But I'm sorry to say that the food was pretty disappointing. The fried foods had super-heavy breading that we all agreed was Cajun in name only. As a point of procedure, waiters should mention it if a side you order will cost extra, and not have a surprise at the end when you learn that your onion rings (instead of fries) cost $2 more. Also, it would be great if the waiter would check back in occasionally to see if anyone's drink needs refilling.

I just ordered the Tuesday special via their website which clearly states that it includes 0.5 crab legs, 0.5 shrimp, 0.5 pork sausage, 1 corn, 1 potato, and 1 egg. I called the location because when I got home there were no crab legs. I called and they were not accommodating and told me I was wrong and that crab legs are not included in the Tuesday special. I was going to go back up there but it's not worth the 30 minute drive. I will not be going back because they are dishonest.

Seafood was very fresh but was swimming in grease... no garlic no pepper just oil. Not tasty, I gave them a call to see if this was accidental... no answer. Very disappointed this was a Togo order by the way.

Six boudin balls and banana pudding. Starting with the dish that was the least appetizing, the garlic toast/ bread had no garlic spell or taste just butter taste. 2nd least favorite is the expensive banana pudding . I have had much better banana pudding with no bananas from another restaurant. I would have rather had more than 5 mini vanilla wafers instead of the cool whip topping . $7.99 for that never again . The French Quarter dish was dropped off it was received warm from the doordash dasher . Everything was seasoned well , the shrimp etoufee is a tad bit spicy but it isn't overwhelming. I wish they provided at least two catfish fillets instead of just one . . I didn't want any hushpuppies but there is no choice to decline them. Boudin balls are good. I am from Louisiana been living in Dallas-Fort Worth over 24 years now . I enjoy well cooked cajun meals . Portions large enough for leftovers

I ordered the Coddle Plate ($18.95), which is described as tilapia and jumbo shrimp sautéed with…read morehouse seasonings, topped with a creamy cheese sauce mixed with pico de gallo, served with basil white rice. What I received was completely inedible. The tilapia was burnt and tasted almost rotten, not just overcooked but scorched to the point where the flavor was overpowering and unpleasant. The shrimp were also burnt to a crisp. The tails were visibly blackened, not charred for flavor, but burned. I managed maybe three bites before having to stop. No amount of cheese could cover how bad the fish tasted, and it honestly felt like the cheese was being used to mask a serious cooking issue. This was a complete waste of nearly $20. I also ordered the Grits & Gumbo, described as deep-fried grits with a crunchy exterior topped with house seafood gumbo. The grits were hard and bland, not flavorful. The gumbo itself was disappointing: the roux was thin and bitter, lacking depth or seasoning. The only decent part of the dish was the shrimp, but that alone couldn't save it. I finished the gumbo, so I'm not expecting a refund there, but the coddle plate absolutely should be refunded. It was genuinely inedible. Unfortunately, based on this experience, Flying Fish will not be getting any more of my business. Whoever is running the kitchen does not understand execution, seasoning, or basic seafood preparation. Strongly do not recommend.
