What a wonderful place to get your Cajun fix! I came with my nephew since it's one of his favorite restaurants and we got there during happy hour. Draft beer is at a reduced cost and appetizers are half off the regular price. We got "rat tails" that are a jalapeño pepper stuffed with a mix of minced crawfish tails & cream cheese, then hand batter dipped and deep fried. These are spectacular for sure! Half price makes them even better! I had a sampler platter that had a little bit of everything on it. My nephew had fried shrimp that he loved. The beer was really cold too! Our waitstaff was very attentive and friendly as well as prompt anytime we needed help. Overall, a great experience! Try it, you'll like it! I think they absolutely deserve my 5 rating. Unfor has been one of the most disappointing experiences of 2025. The bartender lacked basic knowledge of the menu, and even the servers appeared confused about what was happening. Facial expressions often say what words don't, and it was clear that the team wasn't in sync. The food arrived cold, and I honestly can't tell if it was the quality of the cookies or the service that left a worse impression. To make matters worse, the manager's nonchalant attitude towards the situation was unacceptable. When working in hospitality -- especially in positions dependent on tips -- customer service should never be an afterthought. This was my first visit and definitely the last. read more

Not much else to be said other than that this place is a solid spot. Tasty Cajun food when you consider you're not in New Orleans. We had a couple of cocktails that were of proper proportions for taste ratio, not too over poured and not like you couldn't taste the alcohol, just right to taste it all. Had the popcorn shrimp with the seasoned fries (I must confess, I'm not a big fan of potato's and won't ever specifically order them, but OMG I was fighting my teenage son to the last one. We also had the Cajun fondu with shrimp and the garlic toasted bread. It was brought to share the 2 with 3 guys. Had the crab cake, and 2 Cajun trios. My teen devoured all the rice, beans, sausage, and the 2 shrimp dishes (and then went across the street to chilies for lava cake) I ate all mine but the sausage, I feel as though it was quite over cooked. Service was prompt and she kept the table clear of dead plates. The place is like the end user of American Pickers. Mike and Frank should get in there and pick/sell/trade with these guys!!! I just got back from lunch here. Our food came out cold. The crab boil came out with no sauce. The boil had no potatoes. corn, or sausage witch it was advertised with. The waitress went to tell the kitchen, and they told her it didn't come with it. She took a menu back to show them so they said they would cook some. Everything came out after we where all finished. It was 2 potatoes,1 corn. and 2 small slivers of Eckrich sausage. the manager even brought them out. I told him and all he said was I'll talk to the kitchen staff. My house just got finished being built in the area and I had my final walk-through a few hours ago. To celebrate I decided to go eat somewhere I've never been before. I look up a few restaurants in the area and found Razzoo's a few minutes away (and it's right next to President George Bush Hwy once you take the exit). I came in at 8ish without a reservation and was seated right away. I think my server's name is Kylee because that's what is said on my receipt. She was excellent. It was my first time here and she gave great recommendations. She did go over the menu with me, asked me if I liked spicy food, and told me what was popular so that's a huge plus. I ultimately went with the Cajun Fondue with crawfish for my app and Zydeco Pasta for my entree. Razzoo's little advertisement standup cardboard menu on the table said that they have crawfish too and I was tempted to try it, but Kylee told me they sold out hours ago. Oh well I'll take my fianceé here next time when she's done with busy tax season to try their crawfish whenever they get more in. While waiting I connected to their WiFi and was prompted to sign up for their newsletter for a free app. Wasn't expecting it but that was a nice surprise. The Cajun Fondue came out pretty quickly and it was delicious. Huge too and it's an app that should be shared with 3+ people or so. It was too heavy and too much food so I couldn't finish it by myself. The Zydeco Pasta with blackened chicken came out not too long afterwards. Kylee told me it was like a Cajun Alfredo sauce pasta and that's exactly what it was. It could have been spicier but overall it was great. You can't go wrong with penne pasta, a Cajun Alfredo sauce, blackened chicken (which was amazing by itself), and parmesan cheese on top. I'm glad I chose this dish. If I wasn't so full I'd probably get dessert too. Overall the food was great and service was amazing. I'm glad that Razzoo's didn't disappoint on my first day of being a homeowner and I'll probably remember this day for the rest of my life because of how perfect everything went. I thought I wouldn't be able to find great Cajun food all the way out here compared to where I usually go in the Lower Greenville area when I lived with my parents, but I can see Razzoo's being a staple for me and my fianceé. Prices are extremely reasonable too for the huge portions compared to the restaurants my in-laws usually take me to for similar food in New Orleans. The hostess also said bye to me with a smile when I left. Just a great experience all in all. I can't wait to come back. read more

Service and ambiance were great but the some of the food lacked flavor and depth. We got the gator tails and rat toes for appetizers which were great. The gator wasn't chewy and tasted fresh. The rat toes were stuffed jalapeños which were amazinggg! We don't eat pork so we couldn't order a lot of the menu items since the dirty rice had pork. The waitress was very knowledgeable of the menu and let us know the gravy on something we ordered had pork which we otherwise wouldn't have known as it wasn't written on the menu. We got the fried steak with etouffee sauce instead of the gravy that had pork in it (costed $4 extra). The etouffee was good but the steak was meh. We also got the zydeco pasta with blackened redfish (costed $8 extra) instead of chicken or shrimp option. The pasta was good but I was looking for more depth in the flavor. The fish was good but dry and definitely overcooked. Not sure if my expectations were too high or if their menu needs some tweaking. I will likely not be coming back. read more

This place is still amazing. All the Razzoo's locations I have visited have great consistency in flavors and friendly atmosphere. The staff were efficient and very personable. I ordered the Tricky fish this visit and thoroughly enjoyed it. I highly recommend their Etoufee! My girlfriend ordered a cup of gumbo and it was a little small for $7, but had great flavors. She also enjoyed her fried shrimp basket. I would love to come back for another visit soon! read more

I'm from Georgia and we don't have Razzoo's back east (please come soon!) so everytime I visit the Garland area I try to eat here. This time I had Crawfish Etouffee and it was excellent. There were so many crawfish that I couldn't take a spoonfull without getting three or four of them. The flavor of the etouffee was outstanding. Service and environment are also great. I typically ordered the bacon wrapped shrimp from here when it's in season. It's a lot cheaper than going to Pappadeaux's for the same dish. The last time I ordered it when it was in season. They were tiny and overcooked. But the drinks are good, and the ambience is excellent. read more

Careful if you try to use one of their "specials". We showed ours upfront to make sure they would take it and they said no problem. But when we got our check, they said some arbitrary rule didn't let them use it. No big deal if we were told that upfront. But, they didn't. Plus the food was less than stellar to put it mildly. The very idea of asking someone for ID to purchase alcohol who is clearly and unequivocally over the legal drinking age of 21 in Texas is insulting and needs to stop. When I asked the waitress Carly, if my guest appeared to be over 21, she answered "yes, but I have to ID if you look under 30.I can go get my manager...manager comes to the table, asks for id again of my guest. I ask him the same question I asked we the server...same answer "we have to ID anyone who looks under 30" to which I replied again, the legal drinking age in Texas is 21, your demanding ID of someone who you admittedly acknowledged appears to be over 21 is insulting and bad business!!! I attended a Yelp Elite event here, where we sampled a rad assortment of colorful dishes from Razzoo's menu and sipped on smooth cocktails to celebrate Mardi Gras. It took quite a while for my drink to arrive, but since it was so busy, it was understandable. The popcorn shrimp & fried pickles were my favorite, and the Rat Toes (jalapeños stuffed with shrimp & crab) were amazing, but spicy. I'm not normally a fan of peppers, but these were great! I tried a Smashed Blackberry Moonshine Mojito, but sent it back, as it tasted like a flat Sprite. Ordered a Hurricane instead and it was spot on! I had such a wonderful experience here! I came for a yelp event and sat at a table with never ending hot juicy crawfish. I mean HUGE crawfish and they were so delicious! The crawfish plate came with corn and potatoes all seasoned to perfection. I tried the boluan balls filled with rice and ground beef. Also the fried gator that tasted like chicken, fried jalapenos, garlic bread, fries, and fried pickles; all were so soooo good. We ate at Razoos last night. I have never had a bad meal here. I had the Cajun Fondu and Redfish Bienville. Really good food.

The service was great, but the food was lacking. The best thing on our order was the fried pickles and Cajun ranch. The entrees left something to be desired, and the mashed potatoes were boxed/instant rather than fresh potatoes. Overall, it was "ok" but we probably won't be back soon, as we are picky when it comes to spending money on eating out in this economy!! Expect the bar your drink allowance (2 per hour) if the bar tenders having a bad day while he pours pitcher after pitcher of beer for the six top behind you. That was not so much the problem, the quality of the food is terrible. I ordered the fried pickles as an appetizer and the batter was more on the soggy side than crunchy it was not up to standard. Chicky dipper basket (hand breaded and served over fries with corn or slaw and honey dressing) was not good at all, the fried hand bread was too hard and the chicken was old and also hard. The fries were just ok and the coke slaw was the best part of the dish. We also ordered Rat Toes (shrimp and crab stuffed jalapeños) were ok but better than the fried pickles.
