I love this place usually. It has been close to 2 yrs since I'd been. Although I eat crab at least 2/3 times a month. Sometimes more. It was slow. I felt rushed to order. Instead of ordering by the pound. I was asked if I want one or two clusters. I was told usually one pound is about one cluster. As usually food was good. The Cajun fries were well-seasoned, crispy, and actually a bit spicy, but the rice was the perfect accompaniment to the saucy, sweet crab and crawfish meat. The seafood was fresh and tender, delicious with the shebang sauce or simply dipped in melted butter. We always get raw oysters, a few snow crab legs, a couple pounds of spicy crawfish & shrimp, corn and potatoes. Went to their new location in Dallas and tried their fresh clams for the very first time - yum! I'm not sure why we've never though to order those before...maybe because we aren't allowed to import fresh crawfish in Michigan, so that's always first on our minds as opposed to the clams? We also got deep fried soft shell crab; crunchy, juicy, and meaty, and a lot bigger than I was expecting! Their loaded crab fries came with real chunks of lump crab meat, and it mixed well with the garlic aioli. We've been eating at this restaurant a long time. Even while on Walnut and Jupiter. The last 3 times we've ordered the shrimp cha-bang medium we've been disappointed. The seasoning is good but the shrimp is not firm and it is hard to peel it off of the shell. Either it is old shrimp or boiled too long but it is very disappointing. Spending almost $80.00 is not worth it. I hate to leave bad review but this one is necessary. We will have to find another Cajun seafood place to eat and spend our money. read more

We get shrimp and snow crab, when he came here the pound of snow crab only comes with one cluster but other places come with 2-3....this place is a rip off when it comes to crab legs... 1 cluster for 32-35 dollars is outrageous and it does not fill one up at all. We loved this place!!! There was a little bit of a wait as they weren't taking reservations, but we hopped on the Yelp waitlist which saved us some time. All in all, it was only about 30 mins from joining the waitlist to being seated. The prices were reasonable - $16/lb shrimp, $14/lb crawfish, $40/lb snow crab. The servers were all so friendly and service was prompt. Definitely recommend the shabang sauce which is a combo of all of the flavors. We did medium spice which was delicious. workers are insanely nice, property manager however is the hugest asshole ever. my car tire blew out and i had to pull over in their parking lot with ZERO TOWING SIGNS. me and my father tried to take my blown out tire off but failed and had to leave it there overnight and came back before 24 hours and it was already towed. to a place AN HOUR AWAY! property manager didn't even talk to me but instead talked to me through his employee. they stole my car and made me pay $150 to get it back WITH a blown out tire because the tow place refused to help untighten the lugnuts. i am beyond frustrated and now me and my family will never go to any place in that parking lot. terrible terrible property manager and insanely unprofessional. read more
