Not sure why others are claiming it is expensive, given the state of inflation and the economy, this place is great. Their service turnaround time was only like 2-3 days. When we arrived in person, we were initially quoted $50, but once we clarified that we did not want the dress cleaned, the price was again adjusted down to $25-$30. Based on that, we expected the final charge to reflect that estimate. However, when we came to pick up the dress, we were charged $50 without explanation. When I raised the issue, I was told that estimates can sometimes be wrong, with little apology or accountability. After I paid and left, an employee came outside and told me there had been a mistake -- that the higher charge was because the dress had been cleaned -- and that the correct amount should have been closer to $30. She said a manager would follow up. Later, the manager contacted my wife and contradicted that explanation, saying the dress had not been cleaned and that they only called because I was upset. My wife clarified that we weren't upset about the price itself, but about the constant inconsistencies. This location has given us conflicting information throughout -- from pricing to the services actually performed. It was a frustrating experience overall, and we won't be returning.

This is a 50-year-old heirloom where each piece has a story, and it is an ongoing project. Given there were signs everywhere emphasizing their no-strinkage safety with cotton fabrics, I stupidity trusted it. It returned shrunk, each tiny piece slightly smaller and buckled, therefore not matching the ongoing work at home, and many pieces ripped off. AND the tiny stain still remained. I had a near heart attack. Staff insisted they could "fix it". I returned take 2, stain still there, but quick shoddy repair of ripped pieces and they (kindly) insisted I did not have to pay for their mistake. Then, I spent 2 weeks at home re-calibrating to the shrunk piece, and another week removing ruined torn pieces (some were over a 100 years). Lesson learnt. NEVER take a vintage piece to any dry cleaner! A month on, I was still working on repairs.

The lady who works at the front is very nice and she said it would be about 3 business days until I can pick up my jeans. I was somewhat apprehensive because these are $300 jeans, but i decided to go through with it anyway. When I came back she remembered who I was and told me to check out the jeans before I paid. It was better than I expected, you can't even tell they were ripped or sewn back together. This is my new go to if I need anything fixed. Also, it looked like they dry cleaned my jeans (or at least ironed them) as a complimentary service which is great. It was $10 to get it done, which was definitely worth it.

My clothes were cleaned…read morewell but I felt so bad from the customer service I put it in the back of my mind so I didn't write a review. I recently moved to Los Angeles and found a new dry cleaners down the street from me that charged me half the cost for the same items which was refreshing. I thought of this place and wanted to leave a review to warn people how bad this was. These people were hostile, defensive, and greedy. They kept on hassling me about my clothes and texting me for approval for new costs. The texting person gave me an estimate and sent me like over 10 photos of my clothes to point out all the stains and hair that was on my clothes and repeatedly told me my clothes were wrinkled and very dirty. This was unnecessary and made me feel attacked and shamed. Like WTF?? I just wanted them to clean my clothes not pick faults with me! Instead, they acted like they were taking me to court! So much unnecessary stress and hassle for dry cleaners! They ended up charging me over $50 more than originally estimated because my clothes were oh so hard to clean and so dirty. Despite going over the original estimate, they still hassled and tried to guilt me for tip at the end saying they gave me a deal. What deal? Your services are super expensive! The tone they texted me was just so very rude it's like they didn't want me as a customer. I never fought them on the expensive costs but they were hostile from the start. I ended up going back to my previous dry cleaners, City Custom Tailor & Dry Cleaners in Belltown. They are not cheap either, but a little less expensive and they are chill. I do not think cheap dry cleaning exists in Seattle but this service sucks.

My inquiry was not rude in any way and warranted a more thoughtful reply. It is absolutely within my rights to leave a 1-star review as a reflection of my experience with a business's subpar communication. If you look at the other low reviews for this business, you'll see a pattern of poor communication skills. Service isn't just left at the product. It goes all the way to effective communication, of which this business has none, other than to double down and defend themselves anytime someone has criticism.
