I was the first client to arrive on a Sunday. I've been using the salon for 5 years and was told I didn't need to make an appointment unless I wanted a specific technician. I never made an appointment. Following my pedicure I was taken to the nail chair. Thank you. Where I sat and waited as people that came in after me were being treated. One lady had someone working on her pedicure and her nails. The manager sat there on his computer while I waited. He eventually called back another client that entered and set up front waiting. When I asked him when someone would be doing my nails after I had sat about 20 minutes, he said "because you didn't have an appointment you will wait". As the vehicles exiting the parking lot, he asked me if I was upset and I said yes. He began to berate me because I came in without an appointment and I was upset that I had to wait so long when other clients were getting service. He would not stop. Even the technician that eventually came and sat down was patting my hand as if to say it'll be okay. He even got up from his client and came over and started on me again. He told me I had no common sense and that I was stupid to think I could just walk in and get service. He would not let go. I received the same services I always receive and this time I was charged and extra $30. I could explain this in more detail, but suffice it to say that I am seeking a new salon. In particular, one that does not charge me an extra $15 on top of my pedicure in order to remove the old polish they put on and put on new gel polish. The technicians are wonderful, but I will not be treated that way by a manager again. read more

On a whim after dinner out, decided to see if I could get a walk in pedicure. Luckily this place wasn't very busy and could fit me right in. The nail tech sprayed down the foot bath to clean it and placed a liner in, which is always a must. Friendly enough demeanor but tech talked to a nearby customer & other workers most of the time but was responsive if I asked her to do or not do whatever during my pedicure. Higher prices than my normal two places but guessing prices are up most places. With tip $50 for gel pedicure. I wouldn't go out of my way to this place necessarily but if I happened to be nearby might use them again. read more

My mom was not too happy with the sparkling nail polish on each ring finger after her nails were done, it was too light but no worries they selected a darker sparkling color and redid her 2 ring fingers with out any remorse and made my mom happy. Do not go here! I've been to this nail salon 4 times and each time it was much worse. I've been getting my nails done for 2 years and dip only so I know quality and never have had issues with chipping when I found a good salon. The first time I came here my nails chipped a bit and I called to see if I could get it fixed. The they got me in and my nails were good until I went back. I thought I would give the salon another try and it was so bad. The third time I went in my nails chipped a few days later and it was at least 4 fingers. And I do not deal with heavy equipment. I asked to come in to get them fixed and they said yes. Apparently they have a 7 day policy for getting your nails fixed which nails should last longer than that. No joke my nails chipped the next day and they destroyed my natural nails that were long. It's obvious the nail techs are putting way too many layers on. 2 coats of the base, 3 of the color, another of the base, and 2 coats of clear coat. I promise I'm not a Karen, I just want my nails to look good and last so I don't have spend time back at the salon or spending money to fix them. I would give this place a zero if I could. read more

I ended up coming here before a girls trip and wanted to treat myself. They are taking COVID precautions seriously which was really nice to see. I felt safe and the place felt clean. The lady was super sweet even though she didn't talk much. She did a great job on my pedicure which was really nice. My nails, however, didn't turn out so great. She had another appointment that had come in and because she took so long on the pedicure she was running out of time for my nails. There were nails that didn't have the tops painted, the gel was splotchy in spots, and the nails only last one week even though they were $40. That was definitely a bummer. My Mom and I walked in for my birthday looking for a mani/pedi for us both. They were very busy which didn't bother us at all, and one of the owners I believe (a gentlemen) greeted us and said it might be a 15/20 minute wait and cleared two pedicure chairs for us and gave us the color swatches to look at while we waited. The salon is clean, all the staff is super kind, friendly and everyone talks to everyone. We both got terrific pedicures and great manicures we wanted (Mom got regular polish, I got dip) and we were able to sit next to each other the whole time which made it even nicer. What a great experience! The space itself is so cute and welcoming it, and very sleek. It was very comforting being there. They do take the COVID guidelines seriously, with protocols in place to ensure everyone's health and safety. The staff were so incredibly friendly and polite. I have been here a couple times the first time I had great service the second time the lady cut my finger several times with the grinder went back today to give them a second chance, and ended having the same thing done even though I got a different lady while they were trying to take the nail polish off. They were more concerned about grinding the nail polish off instead of letting the acetone do the work. I hated that I actually yelled in the business when she hurt me and I still had to pay the $10 to have my nail polish removed. I will never ever go back there again. I have been going to LaVee for a little while now. 5/19 I got a full set of acrylic nails with gel polish and a pedicure. The service was excellent. I went back on 5/25 to get a simple color change for a wedding anniversary party and was asked "You have gel on nails?" To which I responded yes, because I had gel polish. Well, I am not thinking when the tech starts placing foil on my nails...I'm thinking maybe it's a new technique to take off the gel polish besides buffering it off. When we get to the table and she removes the foil; the entire nail starts to fall apart. The manager, Juan, tells me there was a miscommunication and he was sorry, BUT did not offer to redo the set NOR did he take the price of the service. So, I was not happy with the service AT ALL! On top of this... the color change on my toes... French tip...did not have a top coat. read more

Lavee Nail Salon is nice. I recently visited this spot with a bridal group. I opted for a gel manicure, while first having to have my current gel manicure removed. Anyone who gets manicures often knows that when you find a place/nail technician that you love, you stick with it! I have that place, and it's not Lavee. So, while my manicure wasn't "bad," I wasn't in love with my nail shape or the way the manicure was performed. My least favorite thing about this salon is that when the technician removed the gel I came into the salon with she had me soak my fingers in the acetone. I much prefer the process of placing a piece of cotton soaked in acetone on the nail and then wrapping it with aluminum foil. In my experience this damages your nails and skin less. My manicure was quick and painless. Though the technician was on her phone a lot. She kept taking short breaks to check and send texts. I wasn't in a hurry, so this didn't matter much to me, but if you're looking for a super quick manicure this may not be the spot. read more

I got so overwhelmed by all of the different color options that he helped me find the exact one with the touch of bling on one finger that I wanted and they turned out wonderful! They are also very reasonable because I called around to other salons nearby and they are much more expensive. You've got to give these guys a try! One single star. My shellac didn't even last ten days. Usually I get 3 weeks with shellac and I only have to go get it redone because of nail growth, but when I got shellac done at Lavee it lasted 9 days. :( very upsetting. It started peeling up like it wasn't adhered to the nail properly and chipped away. As far as the salon goes, it was clean and the staff was friendly. The gentlemen that did my nails was nice enough but constantly answering the phone and leaving me to go do other things. Not my idea of a relaxing environment. Also, he kept outlining the color on my nails so even on the first day it didn't reach the edge of the nails making it appear like there was already growth. Defeating the purpose of a fresh mani. Then had the lavender pedicure ($37) which lasted about 45mins+ and it was so relaxing! Highly recommend that. Their pedicure chairs are also massagers, the combination was amazing. This place is taking COVID precautions very seriously which made me feel much safer coming here than other places. You have to wear gloves to look through the gel/dip swatches, they're using shower curtains to separate clients, cleaning the pens, plus the usual masks, separating clients, hand washing and sanitizer. As for the actual manicure, they removed my dip without grinding into my nail bed/making my nails thinner. I then got a manicure with regular polish that solidly lasted 6 days without chipping. The new owner has responded to my last post. So, I should correct his response. First, I paid for the redo that offered Jennifer an opportunity to fix her mess up (do you really think they would let me not?) I tipped her on the first one and refused to tip on the make up. Since this is his wife, I understand why he would misrepresent the incident. I tried to reschedule but Mimi the prior owner, who was my original tech, was supposedly away. And yes, he told me that Jennifer had no openings. Don't get me wrong, I would always offer opportunities to rectify. But, Jennifer refused to take responsibility for the mishap. She said, "you nails will grow back." Never did she consider that for all the times, tips and built relationships I had with this salon, this was the first bad experience dealing with the owner. If they would just care a little bit about the customers as much as about the money (they go together), there would be few displeased customers and the techs would not have to ask for their tip. I have only on few occasions refused tipping. I have witnesses that work there to attest to that. I understand feelings are hurt, but fix the problem. Hopefully, there's a lesson learned in this experience. Oh, by the way, I am demanding. Money is made by hard work and I don't intend to pay for a shotty job. Your tech that was made to cry was one who speaks very little to no English and put the wrong polish on me. I still paid for it and tipped her because wrong polish, but job well done. I've not used more than two others. Also, what is disrespectful is to do a shotty job, have someone pay for it and then ask for a tip. read more

I got the upgraded peppermint pedicure and it was worth the small up charge.
