My husband and I love getting Thai massages. Been wanting to check this place out. Our masseuses were lily and summer. I'm not sure who had who. My husband masseuse asked if it's ok to walk on his back. I should've chimed in and confirmed that mine would walk on my back as well. Needless to say mine did not. I was a little disappointed, however, I did ask for mine to focus on my back and shoulders. Which she did a great job of taking out my knots. We did the one hour deep tissue. Prices were affordable. We were also able to get street parking for free but there's also a parking garage as the location is located on a busy street in Coronado where free street parking is usually all taken up. We are also used to the masseuses stretching us out in different positions, which both my husband and I did not receive. I would however give this place a try again as it is affordable and I did get a good massage. They do offer add ons like hot stone but we declined this time. They're open late night even on weekdays. We were able to get in a same day appointment. When I called to check availability, instead of answering the phone, someone texted me after my call to schedule the appt. Bring cash if you want to avoid a card fee. Don't forget to tip! read more

The massage here was so relaxing! my husband and I had a couples massage, but I also had a prenatal massage. The ladies were very attentive and the lady doing my massage focused on my feet and legs as well as my lower back where I often get a nerve pinch. Making the appointment was also very easy. Do not recommend. Not the best massage I've gotten. The women kept pausing during the foot massage.. I was wondering if maybe she was pushing on a pressure point but there was no pressure.. just would stop massaging. She also would just squeeze my individual toes for like 2 minutes each.. but with no pressure.. just held them. I felt like she was distracted. I was wondering if she was on her phone. The door was also open the entire time as well.. I appreciate the time we took but it was something I felt I could do myself at home. What was very rude to me was when I was paying and leaving a tip, they were rude and said "that's it?". I felt threatened by the way she acted. The woman re did my transaction and made me pay AGAIN. I tipped her a respectable amount and more than I feel was necessary and then to say that to me? VERY unprofessional. read more

Lavender flower day spa was a huge lifesaver for me this weekend! I came to San Diego for a mini getaway and woke up in so much pain due to a long car ride, being pregnant, and having a terrible case of food poisoning. I called several spas that morning for immediate availability and lavender spa was the only place that was able to see me right away. As soon as I got there they laid me down immediately and started working on my back. I got the 90 minute prenatal massage. My husband and I were visiting from out of town and last minute decided to get a massage. It was late but they were accommodating. We didn't have an appt and only had to wait a few mins. It was kinda of disappointing that they didn't ask which massage we wanted. The lady I had asked me if I wanted deep pressure or light. Which I responded with deep. My husband was never asked. His lady ended up doing a deep pressure. He never gets massages so for him it was too much. The lady never asked if she could walk on him and he was so thrown off. Mine was perfect pressure and hit all the right spots. (I'm little so she didn't walk on me, but the pressure was perfect for me). The room was on the colder side and they had a fan on so when she started with the oil I was freezing. They also got a hot towel to wipe the oil off and after I was freezing.
