RUN AS FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY AS YOU CAN! To say that their customer service is terrible would…read morebe to imply that they actually have any customer service. They are argumentative and threatening toward customers for no reason. They don't care if you have concerns and will start yelling at you if you bring a concern to their attention. I had to hang up on the owner, Koleen, as she was screaming at me and would not listen to anything I was saying. We also had the pleasure of being yelled at and threatened by the other owner, Peter, as well. There is not enough time to detail all of the terrible stress they put us under. But, to provide one example (of MANY), as part of the $16,000 job they did for us, they quoted us for all new soft-close hinges for our cabinet doors. One hour before the installation, Peter sent my husband a text saying that the hinges he ordered were not going to work and he would credit us for the cost. Meanwhile, no one told us to save the old hinges and the workers left them strewn all over the place. Peter told us that he probably could not get new hinges that would work with our cabinets and, even if he did, it was going to cost a fortune. What happened to their original estimate? They are supposed to be the experts. The installation could not happen as planned because we were initially unable to locate all of the original hinges. So, they left the refinished cabinet doors while we went on a hunt for the hinges. Somehow, we managed to locate all of them. In the meantime, Peter was texting us telling us we needed to pay the ~$2,000 balance on our invoice that day (even though the job WAS NOT DONE), or they were going to put a lien on our home. His wife then emailed the invoice to us with a note in all capital letters with the same threat. When we didn't respond to either of these threats, Peter then texted my husband ordering him to call him before the end of the day as he didn't want the situation to escalate. They are the ones that escalated the situation by making these threats. We have had many, many contractors at our home for various repairs and have never, ever been treated so horribly. In fact, we've never even had a minor issue with anyone that we have hired. We are extremely reasonable people. Although the job was eventually completed, there were several areas where we had noted the paint needed to be touched up. They clearly did not care about any of these issues and we just paid the invoice to never have to deal with them again. We were extremely tired of being yelled at and threatened. The whole experience was truly unreal! I fully expect Peter and/or Koleen to comment on this because they LOVE to fight with their customers. Again, run as far away as you can from this pathetic excuse of a company.

I had a complex color scheme that they said they would be ok with. I asked them to use a particular…read morepaint company as that company had the exact paint colors we wanted. They used a completey different paint brand and the colors weren't right. They also obviously did not tape (there are wonky lines and areas where paint overlaps other colors) and there are flecks of paint on the toilet and flooring and other random places. This is the sort of quality you would expect from paying your friend's kid a few hundred bucks, not the work of a professional that cost thousands of dollars. Pretty disappointed. Edit: They responded with some pretty bold lies. I have email proof that I requested the paint brand that I requested. Also, anyone who tries to blame the wall for the bad paint job obviously isn't very good at their job. The paint lines overlap in places and the lines aren't straight at all--it is obvious they just eyeballed it without taping things properly. They originally said it would take six days to do, but they rushed it through in three because they double-booked themselves on another job. Every time people come over they comment about the wonky paint job and the paint flecks everywhere. None of these problems should ever exist at the price point they are charging. Professionals get things done properly; they don't provide a list of excuses. Be prepared to babysit them and check every step of their work if you do hire them or else who knows what you will end up with.

We got Elliot's number from a neighbor, and we are thrilled that his team understands historical homes (the results show.) Great quality of work, excellent communication and always shows up on time. It's refreshing to deal with nice contractors like Elliot and his crew. As we live in a historical home, there was a great deal of old paint, damaged spots and the original cedar shake. Elliot, Jay and Joe took the time to remove all the storm windows, properly power wash, and hand clean our exterior. The paint job was done beautifully. They even repainted our mailbox and street sign and cleaned our roof just to make sure we have that new "old house" look. As promised, they also cleaned up after the job was done. I needed a full repaint of the exterior of my home along with all windows and my house is quite large. I also needed any and all rotted wood to be removed and replaced, and I had a lot of it as well. Kris has a welcoming demeanor, appeared very knowledgeable, and exuded confidence that he and his team would be able to complete my job and do it with excellence. Those were the bench marks (along with price of course) that I need when choosing a contractor for a job. The price wasn't cheap but it was definitely fair. Kris's crew came out and did a fantastic job with both the wood repairs as well as the the paint job. There was one hiccup with some miscommunication on their part but they apologized and made it right. That takes good customer service and they definitely have it! When it was all said and done, my house looks like an entirely new home. My family and I are very happy with the final result - It looks amazing!
