My pedicure was great! My manicure was by far the worst one I've ever gotten in my life. The woman that did my manicure did not ask me a single time if what she was doing was what I wanted, and when I asked her to make my nails thinner she said my nails were too short to make them thinner. Also, 8 of my nails are crooked, and she didn't line them up once to see if they matched length. I can get over that, I don't know much about nails since I get mine done maybe 2 times a year for special occasions. She also didn't ask me if I wanted anything to drink and didn't say hi to me when she sat down. I can also deal with that. What really upset me is that she spent more time picking at her own nails than doing mine. Then she proceeded to use a tool on her own nails and then use it on mine, which is disgusting and extremely unsanitary. If you're going to do that at least do it in the back where the clients can't see it. To top it all off, she used her own nails to pick at the skin around my nails, making them bleed and then didn't even trim the excess skin off that she created. Hope I don't develop an infection! This used to be my go to place. Unfortunately I leave for my trip tomorrow so I don't have time to get it fixed. read more

The staff is excellent! Anna is my nail tech and I absolutely love her! She makes sure its 100% the way I want it and is super friendly and sweet. The front desk is super friendly and sweet too. As soon as I sat down I was asked if I wanted a beverage and the wait is never long. For pedicures I got the Milk and Honey and it was the most relaxing thing ever. They really take the time to make sure you are satisfied. This is definitely the place to go! read more

There are a few nail techs I don't like working on my nails but no matter what there a awesome I personally make appointments here now with only a few select nail technicians.(Mia, Tracy, katelyn, lee, or tiff) for those who have long natural nails mia and Tracy are my go too girls they are both friendly and so welcoming. If you are getting extensions or your toes done katelyn , lee, and tiff are the ones you need! No tiger claws here! I requested Tracy because of her reviews but she wasn't in that day, so I trusted them to provide a good nail tech for me. She did not put glue on the tips of my nails so the fake nail is coming up pretty easily more and more everyday. The shape wasn't exactly what I wanted but it was acceptable. I'm more worried about them not even lasting a week before my nails start to chip/fall off. I feel like it was a waste of $50. read more

I really like this salon. My "nail lady" left my old salon and I never settled into another technician. When a friend broought me here i felt good vibes. The salon is very clean and I feel comfortable gettinng a pedicure here. They are a bit pricy ($28 for a plain jane up to $55 for a super deluxe pedi) but the Tom Thumb at Rufe Snow and 1709 has coupons on t juer receipts for $5 off. I got a dip manicure lastf week. Th e technician was fabulous and explained how It was different from traditional acrylic nails. They are quick, but do a good job. A bald man with tattoos on his arms was doing my nails (i don't know his name because he wasn't wearing a name tag) i've had him before and it was very painful, he will use the electrical file so much it burns and even when you tell him it hurts he will go back over it, he also rushed the service making multiple mistakes on the shape and cutting into my nail bed. I tried to convince myself to look at the positive, but disappointment regarding the finished product keeps coming to mind every time I look at my nails. It felt as though the employee used that as an excuse to not do a thorough job. When it came to filing, she passed the file exactly once on each nail, stating they were short. I tend to be understanding about that as I like my nails very short. Nevertheless, I expect filing to be a basic part of any manicure. In the end, my nails were scratchy and uneven. -When it was time for the nail polish, she stated again... Your nails are short. She applied the nail polish carefully, leaving space between the soft tissue of the finger and the nail polish. You know when nails have grown and there is a space of natural nail that has become present over time? It looked just like that, except they had just been painted. I figured she did not want to go through the trouble of cleaning around the nail in the end. There were exactly two bits of nail polish that were cleaned up with acetone and they were toward the tip. Not around or on top. So areas of the nail were left without polish. -Once it was over, she stared at me and said we were done. It was toward the end of a Sunday afternoon. They close at 6pm. They had no one waiting, but many customers still doing their manicures and pedicures. Not sure what the rush was about as I had already paid, leaving a good tip and did a basic manicure. Nothing about my time there was lengthy, complex or depriving them of another customer. There was no one waiting. -It has been a few days since the manicure and my nails are already chipping. I have been coming to this shop for 3 years, Michelle never has remembered my name, and acts like she has never seen me before. She is the first person you see when you come to the salon and she treats me so coldly where other customers she is warm and welcoming. It actually hurts my feelings and this last time I went the technician that did my pedicure cut my toe and never apologized or even pretended like she noticed my toe was bleeding. Went here with my daughter for a morning together and they did a great job on my daughters mani & pedi as well as mine. The downfall was when my daughter asked for lotion after we washed our hands and her technician did the usual lotion/hand massage. I sat down next to her and my technician said "You're done" and I asked if I could get lotion as well. She took a bottle of lotion and squeezed out a dollop in the palm of my hand and walked away. Considering my daughter was right next to me getting her lotion and massage, it was incredibly rude, especially for a service related business-and one where tips are given. Several other things contributed to my disappointment but not as important to me - they never offered us something to drink (others were offered), they didn't ask if I was happy with my nails (and I was) and they had a general "uninterested" attitude. It was disheartening to me, as I have been looking for a place closer to me in Keller since moving away from the Alliance area. But I guess for now, it's back to that salon where value is still placed in customer service. Pretty solid spot for a mani-pedi. I got one this past weekend and really enjoyed the hot stone massage and sugar scrub during the pedi. They don't do massages after getting a gel manicure which I find a bit odd, I love the range they have for shellac, however I noticed the filing on my nails wasn't perfect and went home and re-filed them to my liking. I'm extremely particular about my nails so I noticed this right after I left. Also, the price point is much higher than other nail salons. My friend swears by this salon, so I will definitely be back try give it another try, since I'm still on the hunt for my go-to nail spot! read more

I have been going to Lavish since they opened summer '15. I had just gotten my nails done in the dip method at a salon by my work a couple days before. I banged my thumb at home in a rush and broke half my nail off. I popped into Lavish as it was near the event I was going too. They offered me wine, margarita, water or a soda. I chose a margarita which wasn't weak if I might say! They fixed my nail by recreating the other half and redipping it. When I went to pay I was told I owed nothing and they hoped to see me again. 10 days later I started going to them now every 3 weeks. I use the Nexgen method for my nails. Jimmy and his wife (the owners) are AMAZING! Jimmy is hilarious and does the best nails & pedicures!!! My last set of nails last me 7 weeks no breaks or chips. This was amazing. The atmosphere is not chaotic like Oasis and they treat EVERYONE who walks in with respect. The ladies who worked on my daughters' and my nails were sweet, patient, and smiled. Everything used was clean and out of the peel packs after being sanitized. They offered us drinks before beginning and made us very comfortable. They are also very good at what they do. I moved to the metroplex three years ago and would go to nail spa to nail spa and wasn't happy with the service and how my nails looked. I got referred to Van for nails and eyelashes at the school I teach at. I was also trying to find a great place for eyelash extensions as well. Again, I couldn't find a place that I really liked. When I heard about Van, I had her do my eyelashes and nails and will never go to anyone else again. She does and outstanding job on both. I'm still confused on my whole experience with this place. They weren't that busy but my lady kept acting like she was rushing. I wanted the dip manicure which was supposed to be $48. Nothing about it was special. I just got the basic dip color and thankfully was only charged for just dip $38. While getting my nails done she repeatedly cut me with the drill. It hurt when it happened and hours later it's still hurting. Yea they might have a few drink options... including liquor. I'd be surprised if they even have a liquor license. Not sure why this salon has had such good ratings. That's actually the only reason I checked it out. Don't waste your money or time unless you want your nails to hurt. read more

My husband & I went here last night for pedicures. The pedicures felt great & the staff is very friendly. It's very nice inside. They have much better wine than other nail places I have been to. That's important you know! :) The only problem I had, was my polish was grainy & bumpy. I didn't notice this until I got home. I called today & asked them to re-polish them. They cheerfully agreed. I went in at lunch & my polish looks much better & they were very nice about it. I hope this level of customer service continues after the new wears off. They have only been open about 2 weeks. I always come here to get my nails done. One of the pros is the cheap cost for an acrylic fill at just $18 which I find fair. The service is decent, the employees aren't personable but I enjoy silence and peace during my visit. I always do walk ins and I'm seated almost immediately. All of the nail technicians are very good and I don't find it necessary to schedule with one specific person because they are all good. They don't always offer drinks and sometimes they are rough with the filing but nothing that would turn me away when there are many pros that outweigh it. read more
